The brand I chose for my brand evaluation portion of the blog is Patagonia, Specifically the Climbing brand. I chose this brand as it’s close to my heart, and a sport that I love dearly. Patagonia does a lot when it comes to social media and is an absolute treasure that advocates for the outdoors and environmental programs. One way that I would suggest Patagonia – Climb as a brand to improve their social media efforts, would be to make a twitter account and have a presence there. I know as a brand, Patagonia has their own twitter account, but not one dedicated to climbing. Brands like RedBull have already diversified their social media accounts into specific ones regarding sport, and I think Patagonia could greatly benefit from this. By doing so, they could engage with and target a specific community much more precisely.
