i'm really happy with this cowl, and it's amazing how changing the arrangement of the colours makes such a big difference even though the motifs remain the same. i'm obsessed with it and it's so beautiful it looks like a piece of jewellery

i knit this as a stash busting project because i have had those light fingering rustic wool yarn from taobao lying around for too long. the golden colour yarn is a more recent purchase though. i got it from colourmart when i saw that their 2/13nm 4ply shetland yarn was on sale, and i was surprised to find how the addition of this colour transformed the whole palette of the piece and added such a nice pop to all the blues and greens. yarn from colormart tend to be on the lighter weight side and i was worried that it would affect the thickness and gauge, but it turns out shetland wool really does bloom and fill out the stitches nicely after blocking!

Oooof. I know I will do it again, but i think it may be a long while before i do another piece with 36x4 and 68x8 individual leaves with 4 or 6 colors each.

butbutbut... it came out so good!

the pattern started out as kaprifolie, but i tinkered with it. (if you really want the chart to make it like this, i will share it, but it's verrrrrrrry rudimentary.)

wife finally finished her shetland lace shawl, all made from two ply handspun lincoln longwool! she's amazing 🥰

I finished a new rabbit and my glucose level is Dropping™ so I'm too lazy to edit the photoshoot! Here's all of them!! I think they all look good. Included a picture with her older sister so you can kind of see how much I improved 😌 I screwed up her face shaping so the scrunch is uneven but you can't tell if you only look at one side of her face at a time haha. Pattern is Holland Lop Rabbit by Claire Garland on Ravelry.

Another double knit tapestry! This one was much smaller than my last one, using the yarn left over from that project. (did I run out and have a visible color change? maybe)

As before this pattern was free on ravelry, but I did change the bottom + added tassels to tack the edges together. I'll have to find a cool stick to hang this one on, the dowel seems a little too clean for this project lol
