Sorry if I’ve alr asked this, but will Rugsy be in your reboot?

Also Ik that witchy brew is in it, does that mean Clara Lear & Nate Nutcracker will also be in it?

i’m not going to lie, i had to look up who Rugsy was-

i never owned a copy of Raven’s Diary so i’m unfamiliar with what happens in that prose. i don’t think i will include him because i have a LOT planned and not enough time to include even more.

Clara and Nate will be included in just about as much capacity as they were in the books, but i might use them in the Neverland arc i’m adding :)))) tehehehehe

i don’t want to deviate too far from the og story but instead expand on it and give more clarity to other characters (ie, Cedar, Cerise, Cupid, Dexter, etc)

the Neverland arc is dedicated to characters i wanted more from, such as Cedar, Cerise, Daring, Darling, Cupid, Duchess and Dexter but i want the secondary cast to be comprised of Backgrounders because our primary cast for this season is secondary characters :)))

update: my sister broke my CSP so now i CANT work on the comic until i figure out how she turned literally everything into the eraser tool

okay hi, i’m sorry i went on an unexplained and completely unexpected hiatus, i’m back to working on my comic, back to working on my rewrite. i was going through some shit but we’re so back.

i’m also working on a book so like :)))

it’s not at all EAH related and i’m trying to get it professionally published so i won’t talk about it more on this acc but yeah if you don’t see me working on Ever After, know i’m still writing, just my personal passion project

imma be so fr, i have no idea…

i was trying to update monthly but i’ve been dealing with a lot since the last update.

um mini vent here if you wanna know what’s going on in my life, if not:

tldr: i’m dealing with personal issues, and being a one man team is tough, episodes will come out when they’re ready, so inconsistency for now until i can get a team to help

okay here’s my vent

i went out of town literally i think the day after the episode went live, and when i got back-

the next week my partner of 2 and a half years broke up with me(right before a job interview)

i got the job tho!

and then quit after my first shift bc the job was literally causing me to have anxiety attacks for the first time in years-

so now i’m job searching, working on getting my driver’s license, and trying to go through college-

all while working on the comic…

i have the first episode written and about half of it sketched, and i might have a small team now that the person who promised to help me is now free a lot-

but her computer also died on her so maybe not, who knows.

life is crazy unpredictable and i’m just trying to go with the flow

For when your rewrite actually gets turned into a series, what are some characters who you firmly are like ‘they’re *this* race/ethnicity’ ?

SCREAMING!! i love talking about this bc fan casts are something i spent… an unhealthy amount of time on-

some characters ethnicities that i will not budge about

Briar is black. she can be mixed black and something else but there is no way around it she is of african descent in my silly little brain

Sparrow is as well!! this one isn’t as hard and fast but as my current cast goes, he is black

same with Humphrey. again not a RULE in casting just, the actor that i think would do the best as him happens to be black

holly and poppy are black/white mixed the actors i have cast as them are actually twins irl as well!

Ginger is Pakistani!

Kitty is Japanese!

Bunny is hispanic!

Lizzie is hispanic!

Cerise is currently cast as Filipino, but i see them as any sort of east/south asian

Cedar is black!

Maddie is currently cast as Japanese, but i’m not particularly set on the casting for her, my secondary choice is mixed hispanic/white sooooo, yk!

And i have Raven cast as hispanic-asian!

keep in mind, these are all based on their current casting based on who i think would do best as their characters but some characters races are immovable(ie, briar, cedar, etc) others i’m willing to bend them from my original casting but-

these are the ethnicities they will appear as in the comic

it’s my online name! i used to go by it in real life too but as the non-binary brain grew i realized i no longer identified with that name outside of using it online! i’ve been using it as a username since…

2017? 2016? not sure!

i’m not super secretive about the name i currently identify with, but a lot of people even in my life don’t know i prefer one name over the other, they think they’re kinda interchangeable!

so technically i’m Andromeda/Andro/Andy/Drommie/Ands(the last two are nicknames given to me by people i no longer really associate with tho-)

my preferred name starts with an N!

i’m not entirely scrapping epic winter just-

rewriting it-

Rosabella isn’t going to be as prominent of a character unfortunately, it just doesn’t work with the story i want to tell-

i mean-

it could be argued that i could use Rosabella in place of Lizzie but-

i have a little gripe with the way this show handled Daring’s destiny

but you’ll have to wait to find out how i handle it

Wonderland arc would be expanding on Way Too Wonderland and the “a Wonderlandiful World” book!!! i want the show to stay true to the original source materials-

unlike some shows(FATE THE WINX SAGA)

Okay for the series are you going to have music in it? Off the top of my head I can think of tsitp and how it would play a part from a song in a moment that fit it.

Alternatively are you going to use the og eah theme song for the intro/is there going to be an intro?

And if you’re going to have a different theme song have you put any thought into it?

if i eventually make Ever After into a live action, yes there will be music!!!

one song i really want to use is “Tomboy” by (G)-Idle

but for the webcomic i won’t be using music(because it’s not a feature on canvas)

for the intro/outro will probably be a VERSION of the song, not the actual original(unfortunately i don’t think it would fit the SLIGHTLY darker tone that i want to portray)
