I have almost completed my first internship at the biology department at the university and that's honestly the most fuckass thing I've ever been through (I liked it, but it was a very VERY monotonous and tiring work). I'm mainly speaking about the species collection of insects.

If Daniil means the words he uses to describe a beetle in the Marble Nest and he really did collect them as a child into a real collection, then I don't really doubt that this person has autism, that's it, there are no more doubts after the experience of collecting the same shi. In a nutshell, this is the process of searching for and catching small arthropods by net, then lowering them into a jar with a piece of paper soaked with (in my case it was ethyl acetate, what he could have used - I have no idea), where they suffocate, and then you take them out, pin them on a piece of some pierceable material with pins and with the most delicate work straighten their legs, wings and leave them to dry. I don’t know whether he compiled the entomological collection according to requirements or just any old way, but ideally all the insects there should be in almost perfect condition, all straightened out according to requirements, all legs spread out (with some exceptions), all individuals are imago, under each there is a geographic label, taxonomy on top and the species below it. In short, the work is so monotonous and more suitable for a person with a special interest in the topic and process that the conclusion suggests itself imho. I don't know what do you think, I just wanted to point it out.

She is the same writer from the Capital, driven by a search of something worth her attention, due to some circumstances obliged to write a chronicle of epidemic. When Sorokina was younger, she was even more bold, even less emotional and noticeably convinced the world and people around her and her whole self were not real.

She was referred being smart and curious, but weird and seemingly abnormal, having short temper and unpleasant character, combined with ever presenting conviction of dreams being as real as the world is (which is seemingly equally unreal) and lack of adequate emotional reactions.

Sorokins tried to find someone, something that would make her stand out less, but in the end, they did not succeed much.

it's not just the stress of the town that causes the bipolar behaviour... when you talk to the tragedian about the sanity mechanics in quarantine, there's hints that daniil has always been like that. he's also very up-and-down in classic when you play any other route, specifically the haruspex route.

i don't know why ipl would use the word "mania" if the intention wasn't for him to be bipolar. if he's not bipolar, he's at the very least cyclothymic.

Then psychiatrists should probably shut their mouths and let people diagnose each other just because they see similarities with themselves in another person, because it seems they know better, right? Show me the hints, then. Daniil's reaction on having to manage his state isn't as of somebody who had to deal with this kind of problems before. He pretty much literally says he didn't think he'd have to use treatment for the patients on himself. If he had always been like that, he wouldn't be much surprised, would he?

i think it's funny that you're asking other people for hints that the bachelor bipolar rather than looking at the full picture before denouncing it? seems like you're making these assumptions without the full picture. have you even played the pathologic 3 demo yet? the conversation with the tragedian hinting that daniil's mental instability is longstanding is not that far into it. the full point of his mental instability is "madness" and "genius" being two sides of the same coin. you're completely missing a whole part of the character by saying it's just his natural reaction to consequences. if that were the case, there would be sanity mechanics for all three healers. just take the L.
