“yoichi.” your voice is stern as he invites ‘number1’ into the party. isagi lets out a nervous laugh, “you said we needed a fifth, and i got a fifth.”

“okay but you fucking knew i didn’t mean *him*. are we serious right now?” you sigh, mouse hovering over the ‘leave party’ button.

“i won’t invite him to the call if you don’t want. he just happened to be online.” isagi reasons with you, voice convincing. the sound of someone joining the call resounds, and you see on overlay that nagi joined

“sei, this IDIOT invited rin to the party.” all you receive in return is a yawn, “yay.” nagi says flatly, “that means i won’t have to carry anymore.”

isagi snickers and you groan, “you’re meant to be on my side, seishi-“ you pause when a message comes through party chat. all noise is cut off in your head, heart pounding. despite being blocked by a screen, you can’t help but feel all nervous in rin’s presence. as if he were sitting right before you.

number1: can you guys hear me

“isagi, you respond i’m not doing it.” you huff, checking your shop instead. you wonder how rin feels. is he nervous? does he even care that he’s playing with you after all this time?

isagi’s voice echoes as he speaks through the call and party. “no, we can’t. is your mic connected?”

“hello?” rin’s voices comes through party chat, and your heart drops. he sounds so different..yet the same. deeper than the last time you talked to him, definitely.

“we can hear you now!” isagi responds, sort of enthusiastic. hiori joins the party, and you start the queue for comp.

as you chat with nagi and isagi, a valorant notification sound rings through your ears.

‘number1 has just sent you a friend request.’

took up physics just to get in the same class as [name] and is pretty much failing as well💔

instalocks duelist every game and flames his teammates when they go negative

his mom banned him from games for a week because he woke them up from all his yelling in the middle of the night

is actually passing his course (rare occasion for everyone in the gc)

is convinced the gifting system was the best thing to come to valorant. gifts everyone anything and everything they want

tried to tutor [name] and bachira once, but they all got distracted and ended up going to a party instead

when yuki goes out, karasu and otoya spend hours watching dating shows and give genuine ratings to pairings

unluckily had to pair with [name] for a literature group project and rin held a grudge and did not speak to him for a month

tried to make moves on [name] before he found out she was rin’s ex girlfriend, rin ghosted him for a while. also thought chigiri was a cute girl and learned his lesson (never again)

played video games with shidou and rin once. deemed it wasn’t fun, never tried again

constantly hosts parties in the dorm without consulting his roommates

gets along with most people he knows. may be due to the fact he does most of the group work during projects

constantly has to cover for otoya when a random girl shows up to their dorm

outside of his friend group, he is close friends with isagi and nagi

shidou ryusei

surprisingly plays valorant as well. he duos with rin, (sometimes sae, who rarely gets on) they fight over who gets to play what duelist

befriended [name] solely to piss rin off, but ended up enjoying her company anyway

got suspended three times because he kept constantly picking fights with unsuspecting students
