sorry I just want to gosh about this piece but I'm too embarrassed to comment directly. Anyhow, THIS IS SO GOOD? YOUR USE OF MUTED COLOURS WITH A SATURATED BACKGROUND IS ACTUALLY FIRE??? I loveeee Dick's expression. I love how painterly parts of it are. I love the harsh shadows. I LOVE THE SMALL SCARS THEY BOTH HAVE. I love how used the same blue for Dick's symbol and his eyes. I love Jason's hint of a smile. I love how you rendered his tongue with only two different shades of red. It's very impressive to me. I really like the blush on Dick's face. I love how you drew the hair. Your anatomy's on point. This is so good. Genuinely in awe of your art tbh

I know I took my sweet time to answer this, but I want to say that this is one of the nicest things I've read about any JayDick illustration I've done WAAAAAAAAAAAAH I really try to make it as good as I can so It's SO amazing, as an artist, that someone took the time to look at the details even if they're just that, details!!!

Comments like yours really gets to people in all the best ways to writers, to artists, to whoever creates and makes stuff, so please, please, never feel ashamed to share the wonderful things that another person brings out in you. I had a pretty rough half of the year, and every time I got discouraged about my art, I remembered your comment and it lifted my spirits like you wouldn't believe! So thank you so much for this!
