I'm still a sucker for cowboy TexaCali, what else can I say? I found an adorable reference pic (under the cut) and had to make it TexaCali. Could also be AustinCali if that's more your speed.

I tried a new rendering method (for me) and legitimately want to know if y'all like it. More details under the cut.

So I legitimately struggle with colors and rendering, it's absolutely my least favorite part of art. (I'm a lineart girlie through and through). So I ended up trying the "5 values" method and starting the rendering in monochrome since I'm relatively comfortable with that. Then I added colors over the top and did some adjustments. I definitely like the workflow of the method but I feel like there's still something missing! It's super dark and idk how it fix it. 🤷🏽any suggestions? I'm open.

California wears lipstick sometimes.

i’m telling you this just to say that California and New York once disappeared for awhile and when they came back New York was covered in kiss marks all over his face and neck.

hey it’s been a loooong time since I’ve posted headcannons sooo here we go!

-Mass originally hated the fact of raising another little demon (NY) but he would always yell at people whenever they tried to take him away or touch him. New York would bite their hand too.

-New York mumbles the most exotic curse words/insults in Dutch whenever he is mad at someone.

-I feel like he would be like, “ aw shit, my arm hurts,” then like reveal a huge fucking bruise.

-if he finds something hanging from the ceiling, he will start to play with it, just like cats do. He’ll only stop when he gets bored or when he gets hurt somehow.

-leading into this one, he gets hurt really fucking easily. Like no matter what, he’ll always have a new cut or something like that. He’s a clumsy cat, what can I say?

-mans is like Gordon Ramsey bro. Ask him to cook something, give him ingredients, and he’ll be on his way.

-on the other hand, California can’t cook for shit. He burns everything, including himself.

- I feel like this man has no bad photos. Even if you catch him off guard, he always looks good in every one. Even the 0.5’s can’t do him wrong.

-he smells like cawfee, pizza, and cigarettes.

-New Jersey is a part-time florist. He gathers flowers from his garden and sells them on the streets of Jersey City.

-The whole northeast :“I don’t give a shit what you do, just don’t involve me.”

-pigeon. He owns pigeons. Not legally, but they’re his. (ny)

-he’s been shot 5 times in total, 2 times in the revolution, 1 in Civil and 1812, and 1 as a mafia leader.

-I would say that he doesn’t hate NYC, but he hates the people. (me too.)
