When I saw the tags for Alaska x Texas x Maine, my brain was so out of it (I only got 4 hours of sleep and taking a plane ride soon, I hate planes so much 😭😭) I thought Maxaska was Alaska x Mexico... I literally said outloud in front of my roommate "Go off Alaska, get yourself a country". I need a 5 hour nap so badly...

Tejas challenged Alta California to a race, thinking he would win it handily. Instead, he got more than he bargained for with Alta’s secretly badass riding skills. 😘

I’ve been listening to a lot of old cowboy songs (as one does while playing unhealthy amounts of the updated version of “Oregon Trail” on their Switch) and it’s giving me historic/Wild West Texacali brainrot. (But what else is new?)

So as per my usual enjoying making Texas absolutely pathetic self i headcanoned him as an age regressor, and i am writing a whole fic about it.

and one funny idea i have is that if him and California were to regress the same area, they still wouldn't get along and they'd have the self control of children so instead of just verbal their fights would get physical.

It would be over the most stupid stuff too i just know it, like if anyone knows that either one of them is regress they just try to keep them away from the other, it ain't worth it to try and get them to play together.

And the main reason i haven't written this is my texas agere fic is that mainly it doesn't make sense to the horrible plot it has, so if i did write this it would have to be it's own thing.

Florida Someone stole Cal's beanie and put a cowboy hat on his head, so now Bakersfield is fronting. Cal is not having a good time because he can see Texas making goo-goo eyes at Bako from inside his brain.

•Texas definitely uses the romanticised version of cowboys in movies to make himself seem more tough and badass when his actual job as a cowboy, was to literally herd cows. Of course it's still a tough job but it's definitely not how Texas describes his cowboy years.

I also hc that Cali starred in cowboy movies but what the states don't know is his movies are based on his actual life experiences. So often Cali has to sit and listen to Texas's tall tales while he's gritting his teeth every time Texas says "cowboys were a lot tougher than in your movies"

•Texas is a crazy cat lady but with tigers. Texas has the second largest population of tigers in the world (don't think about it you will be sad) and like Florida with alligators, he'll bring them to the statehouse only difference he hides them in Oklahoma's room.

•Sometimes when making a decision, Texas will just do the opposite of California but will later look at Florida who made the same decision and say "fuuuuuuck"

•So I've seen posts of Texas doing tricks on horses and I've seen posts about Texas riding a mechanical bull... But have you seen Texas trying to out-drink Loui and trying to ride a mechanical bull on his head while everyone else tries to talk him out of it?

Texas: I- I can do it *hic*

Gov: Please don't!!

Texas: I can- Imma cooowboy-

Loui: sha, it's not worth your neck-

Florida and Oklahoma: do it

•Texas's toxic masculinity is always trying to make him compete with other states in an olympics only Texas is aware of. Usually he'll try to intimidate and challenge other states but it usually backfires.

•One time, Texas was making an extra sweet tea and Florida told him to stop. Naturally, Texas told Florida that he had no right to judge when Florida was filled with "amusement park food and waffle house" and proceeded to down the tea. In reality Florida was trying to warn Texas he was storing his drugs in the sugar bowl.

CDC tried to quit after that.
