Workflow of 2D Animation
Step 1:
Write a script for the project that includes dialogue and action descriptions. Here's a little video to assist you in screenwriting:

With real life, you may be in a team and the writing may be pre-determined, but in this program, you will have the opportunity to write your own material on occasion!
Step 2:
Using Emotioneering tactics, consider ways to increase the impact on your viewers and add levels of interest to your animation for each scene. See the Emotioneering Sheet for further information.
Step 3:
Create a storyboard. Include all of the storyboard-able items from Step 2, such as camera angles, shots, and movements, details, and secondary actions. Step 4:
Create a concept. Create the characters and backdrops, among other things.
To make your animations credible, you'll need to do some study. Make a Pinterest board to keep track of your ideas. (You don't have to try for realism all of the time, but you do want the audience to believe it could happen.)
Create a character that adds to the tale by filling out a Character Profile. You must know your character inside and out in order to convincingly bring your character to life through every movement he or she makes — which you animate! Create rough sketches of your ideas and fine-tune your final vision for the characters and other aesthetic themes. It can be done on paper using blue pencils, then scanned and improved in Photoshop, or it can be done straight in Photoshop. Step 5:
Animate in Animate CC for 2D. (or Toon Boom). You can animate frame-by-frame by creating each significant keyframe first, then going back and hand-drawing the inbetweens. Alternatively, you can design your character in layers in your software and then use Animate (or Toon Boom) to reposition them in keyframes and have the software "tween" for you. There is a significant distinction between these two possibilities. The first is "conventional animation" done on a computer, whereas the second is "computer animation." The business wants you to be able to do both. (You can utilize Image Trace in Illustrator to convert your Photoshop concept art into a vector design for use in animation software, or you can trace it yourself using the techniques you learned in the PluralSight video courses you completed in Course 01.)
Step 6:
In Final Cut Pro, edit the shots and audio. Final Cut Pro is excellent for adding a title screen, soundtrack, and other effects. (After Effects is a great tool for 3D compositing for Maya.)
Step 7:
Gather input from others and make adjustments to your timing and editing. Make sure your viewers understand what you're doing.

Professsional Game Dev Team's Roles
- Game Designer
It all starts with the idea in every gaming project (really, in every project at all). However, without adequate execution, the idea is worthless, and it costs nothing at first. The game designer, as one of the most significant roles in game development, is the one who is capable of bringing game ideas to life through iterations. He should have excellent organizational skills in order to keep all assets and documentation developed and organized in a way that other members of the game development team can understand.
- Story Designer
If your game is more complicated than an infinite runner, you'll almost certainly need to develop a plot. A story in a game necessitates the presence of characters. Each has its own hair, clothing, height, and so on. Characters confront difficulties and interact with one another throughout the game, living their virtual lives. This is where the story designer enters the picture. His job is to keep participants interested till the end of the game. Dialogue lines, progression, and character biographies are used to accomplish this. When there's a lot to learn about the game world (events, locations), the story designer's job is done.
- Level Designer

- 3D Artist
Because the majority of modern games are generated in 3D, and most 2D games use 3D models as their raw material, having decent 3D models on hand is critical. These are the people that not only know how to master sound files in a DAW, but also how to choose and generate sounds for objects that don't exist in real life. They are not technical professionals, but rather creative ones, similar to artists.
- Music Composer
For a deeper level of player engagement, most games require a music context, just as they do with noises. However, unlike noises, using royalty-free libraries for gaming music is often a bad idea because the selection is restricted and it is quite difficult to discover a track that perfectly matches the mood. Additionally, some games employ procedural music, which changes speed in response to the game's scenario and plot intensity. That's how you get to "full custom." Of course, not every game development studio will be able to hire Frank Klepacki, but there are certain tools that can assist you in producing music in-house (provided that you have skills, obviously). As a sole DAW tool, Apple's Logic Pro X and its large associated sound library may easily suffice. Of course, there are superior instruments out there depending on your musical style.
- QA Engineer
They are professionals who are knowledgeable with QA techniques and are enthusiastic about the game genre in which they work. They should have a lot of playing experience and be able to think critically. They should also be included in the process when the first pre-alpha versions are released so that they understand how the game works and what it should feature, among other things.
- Release and Infrastructure Manager
The majority of indie game firms prefer to self-publish their games because modern digital marketplaces make it extremely simple to do so. We're talking about services like Steam, PlayStation Network, AppStore, and Google Play, among others. The publishing process and building submissions are typically hampered by paperwork, tight rules, and deadlines, and they can even result in fines and penalties if not done correctly.
