Well, that was a strange name. One he definitely never heard of. How was he even going to try and pronounce it? It would be easier to just call him Shu, or Shuni…

“Za…Shunina.” It still sounded strange, but it was the best he could muster.

“Since you told me your name, mine’s Akira. Also, the way you talk seems a lot more advanced than how we converse. It almost feels like we’re under developed compared to you. You’d think you would already know about people, but, well, I guess being smart doesn’t mean you know everything.

“..idiot..that..wasn’t to tell you that you could do that..” Hands curled at his side since he wasn’t sure where to put them. He really didn’t know what he was doing, and the only thing he could think of was to consider this ‘experimentation’, but even so..why did he need to learn these things? He couldn’t exactly breed..

“Things like this get uncomfortable when..you..” One of his hands suddenly reached forward to grip at the robes the other normally wore, trying to avoid looking down between his legs.

He didn’t even realize the error of his words that much ruin him in a few moments.

He wasn’t really surprised when he kept his hand there, feeling the softness of his thumb moving against his cheek. Honestly, it was rather pleasant, even his his hands were just a tad cold. He wondered if he was taking the time to actually digest the information Shindo had just given him.

Though the sudden redness on his cheeks was something he didn’t expect. Did he figure out what he meant so suddenly? &Then he could see his hand getting lower, and his eyes stayed glued to what he was doing. Come to think of it, Shindo had seen the other naked before, and there..didn’t seem to be anything there. He was an alien, after all, and he took the form of what just seemed like a regular man.

Well, maybe not in appearance entirely.

–and now it was his turn to jump when the hand suddenly materialized down against himself, feeling his own face heat up and a sudden pulse between his legs.

“You..shouldn’t do things like that. Let me warn you that you can’t go around touching people like that. It’s..you don’t..” His eyes closed, trying to find the words to say right now.

“Maybe it’s different because you know me, but you can’t do this to strangers, or other people. Understand?” ..and not..to him every single day like that either. He’d start getting weird.

     He stared - practically with disappointment crossing his usual bland expression as his hands remained where they were, arms hovering and not making a move. Was he ... doing something wrong? His face had been getting red, yet Shindo was here scolding him, telling him this wasn’t something he should do - which of course he wouldn’t ; after all, didn’t he say this was reserved for someone you love.

  Eyes pressed close, letting out a small hum, ‘ Understood. ‘ He’d respond. ‘ I simply am curious to see this reaction of yours, Shindo. Being a Anisotoron I do not hold any genitalia like your humans do, so if you were to return the touches to me I doubt I’d feel anything. ‘

“Humans are different. They have a different set of hormones from animals. They’re..activated with sight, smell or touch. There’s also pheromones, which are chemicals that secrete outside the body which act like hormones which can change behavior in people they get close to physically. It’s sort of a subconscious signal that can..well, in simple terms, make someone want to have sex.

There’s perfume that have those, you know. Perfumes for women, or cologne for men. The scents and chemicals in those, when inhaled, can set off hormones and change the way you feel. But that’s a more simple way of looking at it.

Basically..” He turned himself suddenly so he was facing the alien, reaching out and grasping his hand, and moving it to place against his chest–

..but then moved it upward to his face instead, since it wasn’t hidden by cloth.

“If you have a sort of attraction to someone, and you touch them, you’re activating hormones and/or pheromones. Well, depending on the intensity of the situation. When animals go into heat, it’s more or less their breeding season, or when it’s most ideal for them to breed. It’s not required though. Humans don’t act the same way animals do in those cases because they don’t go into heat. They just…”

..he was trying so hard to avoid saying this out of embarrassment, but..

“..they..get ‘horny’. Animals can as well, when they’re in heat, but..it’s mostly used for humans.”

     All of this information might have been so much for one to take in but ... luckily this wasn’t enough to overwhelm him. No matter what, zaShunina loved to listen to the sound of the negotiator’s voice, sure this was something he could learn by reading but ... he seemed to like this far better. There was always something about him that made the being feel strange emotions.  Emotions that almost made him seem human.     His hand would continue to rest against Shindo’s cheek, lightly thumbing over his warm skn as he asked him how he felt doing this to him. Hm...nothing much but - perhaps touching him like this was doing more good for Shindo than him alone. He was clearly attracted to the man, despite the feelings not being known if it was shared between the two, but were these hormones or pheromones being released?    When Shindo gestured down to his lower loins did he feel his face getting hotter, that area must have defiantly been a more sensitive spot for humans. Another hand would generate before the two of them through the Novo, lowering itself and just lightly pressing itself against the area that had been gestured to. He needed to see this human reaction ....

Humans do it in order to have babies, just like animals, but they also do it for raw pleasure or just because they love someone.”

   He was interested. In what he read animals only bred to have off springs, humans did the same but .... ‘ Do they. ‘ He’d ask, blinking expressionless as he leaned in, showing that he was listening. ‘ In that case, humans must go into heat much like animals do. ‘ He could always bring up other things...but this was a frequent thing he heard of when it came between two humans living together. Of course he’d only do anything Shindo was alright with.

“..what sort of things go through your head?”

    Sex ... Sex .... The word alone was familiar, though his mind only recalled more to breeding ; something animals only did from what he read. He had read some books on human romance aswell, though if Shindo ever found anything too raunchy he’d usually take it from the being rather than letting him indulge in the information. ‘ Are you referring to intercourse, or breeding? ‘ Eaither way they were the same things in the end.   ‘ Ah I ... hope I’m not making you feel angry with wanting to be closer, Shindo. ‘

   Was it .... that strange? Giving a head tilt did he certainly not think it was odd at all, sure maybe to someone else due to how obvious of an answer it was to humans but - he wasn’t human. ‘ Hm. ‘ His head tilted back upwards, his arms already retracted and pulled to his sides, though still remaining detached from his body if you were to look close enough. ‘ I assumed perhaps you’d like to do something .... intimate. I’ve read that people who live together are like that around one another. ‘

But he didn’t know if he could feel the cold the same way a human body could.

    Was he cold .... was he cold .... The question was clear enough, and he simply didn’t know. The heater may have been on, but it wasn’t affecting him in anyway, so he clearly couldn’t tell. Perhaps the idea was presented only if the other was cold, after all that was something human’s would engage in like Shindo explained.    ‘ Are you cold ?? ‘
