Name the best book you've read so far this year

Probably a toss-up Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield or Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung. Our Wives Under the Sea is a "came back wrong" style horror that focuses on grief and letting go. Cursed Bunny is a mostly horror and fairytale focused anthology that focuses on something different every story. It touches on generational trauma, the patriarchy, capitalism, grief, and a bunch of other stuff. I wouldn't recommend reading it if you can't stomach really gross absurdism though!

None, I don't think? Rather, nothing I read in school stuck with me. I do think if I were to re-read some of them I would appreciate them more now, but I struggled with reading growing up, so it was hard for me to enjoy myself if I was reading out of obligation.

Kind of a mix? I get audio books for most of my book club books because I listen to them on my commutes, or I'll get read them on my e-reader for the same reason. I prefer reading physical, but it's not feasible to buy everything I read and the local library is small, so for anything I'm not sure if I'll like, I get e-books. I almost never read on my phone apart from fanfiction though. Between audiobooks, e-books, and physical, the ratio is probably 25/25/50 or around there.
