Just watched leave the world behind aaaand its a GREAT movie. Not quite sure why people are hating so much on the ending. Such a soothing role for Rose to be the one who founds the buncker AND don't fucking cares about it. She just wanna escape from the horror she imagined and heard and seen. Magnific (and SOOOOO relatable

Also, Archie is a dumbass who's only important role is to get sick and be a dick to his sister (classic, fuck that). That I didn't quite like. But eh. Just like his character: whatever. He still fulfills his role very well

something about joel being terrified now that ellie is someone he loves and bill saying he wasn't scared before frank came. something about love being both a driving force and a paralytic. something about having characters like bill and frank and henry and sam come around to show different kinds of love but still paralleling their stories to joel and ellie.

YES!!!!!

The interactions Kvothe has with Elodin are my favorites scenes from both books. I love this character and the fact that his teachings has more life related issues, and the scene on The Wise Man's Fear with Felurian where Kvothe realizes this made me remember all their interactions. Just perfect.
