I’VE GOT AN IDEA..
I Need This In My Life!!!
I was scrolling through fb and a Miraculous group that I follow had a post that said:
"Ok I was thinking. In the end of the desperada kagami mentioned that she was “wrong” about marinette and luka and suggest her to choose between the two boys cause their is no second chance in love.
Could this be that kagami always thought that luka was marinette’s boyfriend from the start? I mean she did mentioned “boyfriend” to her earlier in the show. Maybe it was the reason why she was trying to prevent her in getting close to adrien. The thought that marinette was already taken yet shows signs of affection to adrien makes kagami’s attitude in frozer and animaestro a bit mean. And the fact that she has some hunch that adrien likes marinette too. See episode: (Riposte:”you like her a lot dont you?” ; frozer: looks at marinette when adrien mentioned not changing targets)
I think desperada is the show that makes kagami realize that luka and marinette arent a “thing” so that’s why in ikari gozen she was fine in giving effort to be her friend and didn’t give any sense of rivalry anymore."
I like the idea of this!

Marinette, Our Class Rep, Our Friend, Our Hero
Little surprise, I couldn’t sleep so I wrote angst. I just posted it in Archive with the same title, but I wanted to share it here too!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
It was just before summer had started. An akuma on a rampage, a school being evacuated. Once everyone had made it out, Lila had realized she left her phone in the classroom. “I absolutely need it!” She insisted. “I’m going to run back.”
Everyone voiced that no, she shouldn’t go back, it was dangerous in the area and they needed to get to somewhere safe. Panic also ensued as everyone wasn’t sure where to go and hide so quickly. Lila started for the stares, not willing to leave her phone behind.
The urge to protect and help everyone pushed Marinette to grab Lila’s wrist, stopping her movement. “No, everyone, to my parent’s bakery across the street! You’ll be safe there! Lila, if you insist on having your phone, I’ll grab it and meet everyone over there.”
Listening to Marinette’s demand, everyone ran for the bakery. The bluenette herself started for the school stairs. “Wait!” she turned at the sound of Adrien’s voice. “Marinette, it’s too dangerous!”
“I’ll be in and out, make sure everyone gets to safety!” she yelled as she continued up the steps and through the large doors.
“He’s right Marinette, this is super dangerous,” Tikki flew from her purse.
“It gives me an opportunity to transform away from everyone,” Marinette explained.
Tikki flew directly in front of her, “then why haven’t you transformed yet?”
Lila had done exactly as she promised. Alya didn’t want to be her friend anymore, Nino deliberately went out of his way to make group plans and exclude her. Julika and Rose would stare daggers at her while Myelen and Ivan gave disappointing grunts. Nathanial, Alix, Kim and Max would make caddy and hurtful remarks. Sabrina and Chloe she was used to, but the rest of the class? It was hurtful and shocking to be treated this way so suddenly by her very own friends. And Adrian? He just seemed blissfully oblivious to everyone’s actions towards her. She had kept all of this a secret from her parents, feeling it wasn’t something they could help with, so why give them something extra to stress about?
The days of being alone and bullied relentlessly by Lila had conditioned Marinette to unknowingly rush to actually get Lila’s phone. She stopped in her tracks, realizing her actions. Having already made it to the classroom, she grabbed the phone and placed it in her purse. “Sorry Tikki, I really don’t know what’s wrong with me. Spots-“
A large blast erupted, sending Marinette flying through the door way and down to the first floor court yard.
***
Everything was hazy and dark, every noise was warped somehow. Recently, Marinette had felt like she was drowning; surrounded by people, screaming for someone to help. Only to be accused. To be ignored. Forgotten. Left to sink deeper and deeper into isolation. But though she was dry and nowhere near water, she suddenly found it hard to focus or breath. She pushed forward and pulled herself up. Marinette moved at a slow pace, she was sure her leg was broken; both of her arms had small gashes and scraps and she knew her left wrist shouldn’t bend that way.
She couldn’t remember things very well. How did she get all the way over here? Is there anyone else in the building? Who should she be looking for? So many unanswerable questions at the moment. Her good hand subconsciously moved to wipe her forehead. Looking at she pulled it away, she could make out blurry visions of red. Eyes stung with more tears as agonizing pain seemed to surge violently at her right temple to the middle of her forehead. She gasped and clutched the wound. Silently sobbing, she desperately willed herself to get out. Now it was like her body matched her mind.
She knew that someone had been there before the crash had made everything blurry. Did they get away, or where they still close by somewhere? Maybe they could get her help. She knew better than to hope for the best, so she continued on, finally making it to the outside stairs. The extreme soreness in her leg and head were warning flares that climbing down the broken steps were going to be torture. With no other way, she made her way down. The area seemed deserted, but at least she was out now. Home was just across the street, she knew her parents would be somewhere inside. She was so close.
With one step, her legs seemed to finally fail her. She fell hard to the ground; she tried using any strength she had left to pull herself across the ground. She couldn’t have made it more than a couple feet before even her arms failed her. “Mammon,” Marinette whimpered, “Papa…” And with those words, she let her eyes close.
***
Hawkmoth had taken back the akuma after that blast, worried that it was far too powerful than it should have been and could have hurt his son. Confirmation from Natalie that Adrien had made it out okay sent a sense of relief through him. As much as he wanted the miraculous, he couldn’t risk the safety of his son with an akuma that violent and uncontrollable.
The discovery of Marinette’s body was another story.
Watching Hawkmoth take back the akuma on live TV, Paris was deemed safe to come out of hiding. The group of classmates pondered what would happen with the school since Ladybug couldn’t use her repairing magic to fix the few buildings he destroyed. A few voiced some opinions before a bloodcurdling scream was coming out of Sabine’s mouth. She was running full speed towards the school. Everyone turned, startled and curious at what she saw. Then they spotted the body.

Fierce Competition pt. 1
Don’t mind me as I just repost a story I had started a LONG time ago here. Hoping it gives me the motivation to continue it and add in plot points that have surfaced since season one.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marinette was just about finished sketching the last details on her new dress design into her journal when she noticed the news on her computer screen. Though muted, she could see the fear of the Parisians on the other side of the live feed. She watched as a young boy, taken over by an akuma, was racing at fast speeds through the streets, playing some of the corniest pranks on civilians, but with destructive outcomes. The camera followed and Marinette watched as the akuma grabbed someone’s hand, causing an electric shocker on his hands to completely fry the girl’s hair. She screamed as bits of her hair fell and the boy laughed and ran off to find another victim.
“Tikki, we’ve got work to do!” Hearing her name, the kawami raced from her spot on Mari’s bed and nodded in full agreement. Smile on her face, she spoke ready for the battle, “Tikki, spots on!”
Recognizing the street shops from the live news, it took no time at all to track it down. Ladybug perched herself atop a building, noticing the young akuma get ready to sneak up on some poor older businessman with another prank. This time was an over-sized balloon with a cartoonish-ly long needle. A huge smile was on his face as he raised the needle and was about to bring it down.
Before Ladybug could fling her yoyo, a familiar staff knocked the needle out of his hands.
“Sorry to burst your bubble, but you should know, pur-anks aren’t all that fun when the ones being pranked can’t enjoy the laugh as well,” Chat Noir smirked as he emerged from the shadows. Eye-rolling and sighing at his puns, Ladybug swung down to meet him. “Hello there Bugaboo! Ready to end this quickly?” Chat asked full flirt mode.
“Only if by ‘end this quickly,’ you’re referring to those ridiculous puns of yours. Then yes,” Ladybug joked, giving him a wink as to not make it seem harsh. In silent agreement, they both proceeded towards the akuma. In defense, the boy ran and picked up his needle, grasping it like a sword.
“I know I needle-little work, but they were still pretty good puns,” Chat said.
Rolling her eyes once more, she looked over just in time to watch the boy bring the sharp object down on the balloon. The loud noise that followed had the heroes clutching their ears. Before they could gather their wits, the akumatized boy quickly tossed a small object towards them and ran. The spotted heroine paid no noticed and ran after him. Chat, on the other hand, hesitated; he bent to pick it up and regrettably set off the stink bomb. By the time Chat caught up, Ladybug already had her ‘Lucky Charm:’ an extra-large balloon.
“Now I know why they say ‘curiosity killed the cat,’“ Chat exclaimed, having to hold his nose to not gag.
Ladybug spared him a quick glance, “What am I supposed to do with this?” She thought to herself.
“You think you can defeat me with party trick? Let’s see if it can stand up to my flower!” The boy, she learned was called PrankMaster, smirked while fishing a single long flower out of his satchel. And almost immediately her Ladybug vision flashed her hints.
“Chat, I’m going to distract him, go for his satchel,” Ladybug spoke while already running into action. With a quick nod, Chat Noir was backing off; he activated his cataclysm and made his way around the edge of the scene, getting close and ready to grab the bag. Once Chat was in position, Ladybug proceeded in her distraction, questionably looking at the flower before her.
PrankMaster doing his part, pointed his flower and chuckled some taunt about getting soaked. Ladybug, not listening, ran up and attached the balloon around the head of the flower just before the water could force her back. The balloon filled and PrankMaster looked with disbelief as Ladybug backed away from the attack. The balloon filled up quickly reachings its limit; it broke, soaking him with a large amount of water and tangling him in rubber scraps. On cue, Chat grabbed the distracted akuma’s bag and smiled as it turned black and the dark butterfly flew out. The akuma was captured and purified before she let it go with a “Bye bye little butterfly.”
“Miraculous Ladybug!” She yelled as she threw the balloon in the air, and just like that, all damage done was erased like it never happened. She said a silent prayer for the girl who got shocked earlier, hoping Lucky Charm gave her hair again.
“Good job!” Both Chat and Ladybug fist-bumped before both heard the beeping of her miraculous.
Chat cautiously sniffed himself. “Thank goodness,” he cried, “I thought I was going to smell like moldy cheese for the rest of my life!”
“I’m in a bit of a hurry tonight kitty, so I’ll be taking my leave, “She saluted before swinging away from her partner and back towards her civilian life.
