Momentum
Project by schnellebuntebilder and kling klang klong is a real-time system for reactive sounds and graphics using a Kinect 2 - video embedded below:
kling klang klong and we developed an interactive framework to create synaesthetic experiences of sounds and visuals generated from body movement.
In our first collaborative work „MOMENTUM“ the user and his surroundings transforms into a fluid creature in an ever-transforming system of particles. A virtual reality, in which movement becomes sound and music and matter seems to dissolve.
Here is a behind the scenes video showing how the system works:

E-TRACE
Performative dance and wearable tech project by Lesia Trubat González features sensors attached to thin ballet shoes, whose movements are converted into visual strokes - video embedded below:
The concept of Electronic Traces is based on capturing dance movements and transforming them into visual sensations through the use of new technologies. To do this we focused on the ballet shoes themselves, which through the contact with the ground, and thanks to Lilypad Arduino technology, record the pressure and movement of the dancer’s feet and send a signal to an electronic device.A special application will then allow us to show this data graphically and even customize it to suit each user, through the different functions of this app. The user can then view all the moves made in video format, extract images and even print them. Dancers can interpret their own movements and correct them or compare them with the movements of other dancers, as graphs created with motion may be the same or different depending on the type of movements executed and the correction of the steps and body position. This is a project that can be extrapolated to other dance disciplines and the applications are multiple, from self- learning or dance classes to the graphical representation of live performance.

MOTION SCULPTURES - VII
Where movement is used to create, modify or interact with visual shapes and forms. This post collects a set of different approaches where movement is transformed into visual shapes. From real time tracking and collected digital data to generate visuals, to physical mechanisms that by moving draw images in space.
