Does anyone else read a book or a series by an author and spend years being scared to read anything else by them in fear that it will ruin the magic of what you've already read? Because this is my way of saying it's been almost 10 years and I still haven't read any other Tamora Pierce books other than the Alana series and I kinda want to....
#song of the lioness#tamora pierce#Alana#Ive also done the same thing to#casey mcquiston#That last stop book looks good#but I read Red white and royal blue at a hard time of my life and it helped

I feel like I am the only Phinese and Ferb fan that somehow forgets there is a song every episode. So whenever I go back to rewatch it and they start singing I'm like ?!?!? HAS THIS ALWAYS BEEN HERE?!

Father Brown Dream
@anneofkeys post reminded me of the dream I had:
Father Brown, Bunty, and Mrs M are at Kembleford train station waiting for Lady Felicia and Sid to get off a train. They’ve been in Rhodesia for months as Monty had died out there and they’ve been sorting out all the legal stuff. Felicia gets off the train and is obviously pregnant. Everyone consoles her and feels sorry for her losing Monty after finally becoming pregnant. She, Bunty, and Sid return to Montague and Sid moves in to help them both. Felicia has a secret though, she’s not as pregnant as she claims. The baby was conceived after Monty died and is in fact Sid’s. They’ve decided to keep it a secret from everyone so that the baby can be Montague’s heir. After the baby is born, Felicia and Sid get married, Sid adopts his own daughter, and they all finally have the family they’ve always wanted.

I had a dream last night that Felicia came back to Kembleford very pregnant and Mrs McCarthy and basically everyone in the village assumed it was Monty's baby except for Father Brown because she was acting so cagey about it. Anyway this was a season long story arch and there was a lot of speculation online over who the father was. Some people thought it was Sid and others thought that potentially Russian spy guy.
Last episode of the season comes around and Felicia leaves Kembleford and goes to a cottage and we meet a young woman who turns out to be Marianne (who had been recasted and was blonde) and it's revealed that Flambeau is the father after a one night stand! At first Monty was mad, because he knew he wasn't the father, but came around to it since it would mean there would be an heir. Problem is Felicia doesn't want to keep the baby since it's the result of "a moment of weakness" and Felicia begs Marianne not to tell Flambeau and the only reason she's even telling her this is because Felicia knows Marianne would see Flambeau as a bad father. EXCEPT Flambeau was in the other room and heard the whole and comes out with a giant grin on his face. Apparently Marianne and Flambeau had reconnected (likely due to Papa Flambeau's death) and he was visiting. Flambeau and Felicia fight (Felicia picked the fight and Flambeau is mostly trying to be postive) and eventually Felicia says she's giving the baby away. Flambeau not missing a beat says he'd take the child which shocks Felicia. Flambeau wants the baby because he wants another chance at fatherhood and would give up crime to rise it. At this point Father Brown walks in and I have no idea what the conclusion was because my alarm went off!
So if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them because I've been thinking about this all day.
#father brown#weird dream#I have some vivid dreams that are either really weird or a whole story with a plot and character development#If I dream up a conclusion Ill let you know#also#is it concerning Im dreaming about Father Brown now?!

Watching the The Nanny for the first time knowing nothing about 90s celebrities is so weird. Like they pause for a minute when someone new comes on screen and I'm just
#the nanny#they had three guest in like a quick 2 minute sequence#and I recognized 2 of them and had no clue on the third#and of course the 3rd one had the biggest reaction

Do me a favour and reblog this with a show you like that was cancelled after only one season. I don't mean shows that were always meant to be miniseries or shows that work perfectly well as a standalone story, or shows that might still get renewed. I mean shows that are and will forever remain unfinished. The more obscure the better.
#I am forever missing Forever#it was on ABC#I think#It had Mr Fantastic from the Fantastic Four movies in the mid 2000s

Sullivan's reaction to Sid's action: 👁👄👁
I've been watching Father Brown and I'm on the season 3 finale episode "The Owl of Minerva," in which the police detective character (Sullivan) is on the run being framed for murder and has taken sanctuary at the rectory. There's a phenomenal smash cut between him storming to bed saying that he refuses to throw in his lot with Father Brown and his "dubious associates" and he's definitely striking out on his own first thing...to him coming back down in the morning to the following:
Lady Felicia: I used my aristocratic contacts to suss out important information about the person framing you!
Mrs. McCarthy: I made you new clothes!
Sid: I took your old clothes and staged your suicide in the river!
