Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend.
Fri 7/31 - Sun 8/2
Happy Friday Everyone!
With temperatures in the 100 plus range for the next week, make sure you are following these recommendations to remain comfortable and safe...
Stay hydrated to avoid heat-related illness. Cold water is the best thing to drink. Drink continuously throughout the day. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Use your pool often or take several cool baths or showers throughout the day to help keep your body temperature lower.
Keep your AC set to a comfortable level and leave your ceiling fans run day and night.
Choose light natural cotton bedsheets and linens to keep air circulating around your skin.
Avoid strenuous exercise. Do exercise lightly early mornings and after sunset.
Have a great weekend and stay safe everyone!
Warm Regards...Ann, Ron, Corilynn, and Desiree

Where do Tucsonans go when the temperatures top 100? To the top of Mt. Lemmon of course. Thanks to the efforts of the Sheriff's Dept, DOT, and the Forest Service,    the road to Mt. Lemmon will open tomorrow. Activities may be restricted but    with a high temp of only 70, we'll be there!
Tumblr media
Hot weather and hot cars. If you can stand the heat, check out Crown Concepts Cars and Coffee tomorrow morning at Costco Drive. The cars will be safe I think but you will need tons of sunscreen, hats, masks, and about a gallon of water.
Tumblr media
Ladies, get your disc golf game on! Tomorrow morning head to Santa Cruz River Park Disc golf course and join the Tucson League for Chicks Disc Golf club. If you can throw a Frisbee, and would like to join a fun group, while still maintaining a safe distance, you can try it out for $5. Discs are provided.
Tumblr media
If it's your typical Friday pizza, salad, and a movie night, don't forget the $20 Dine-in/Take-out specials from some of Tucson's best eateries.

Fri 7/3 - Sun 7/5
Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!
Wasn't it wonderful to see the rain yesterday? We hope it helped the Bighorn fire-fighting efforts at least a little bit. And we're all looking      forward to the first of the monsoons arriving soon.
Of course this 4th of July will be unlike the ones we remember. But we will celebrate our freedoms, and cherish the many blessings we have. We'll call, Facetime, and Zoom our friends and family. We'll light our grills though its 100+ degrees outside, and we'll enjoy every minute of it. And for some, our gatherings will still take place with special precautions.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend everyone. The Real Estate market is NOT taking any time off for the Holiday. Please let us know if we can be of help to you, or someone you know.
Warm Regards...Ann, Ron, Corilynn, and Desiree

Fri 6/5 - Sun 6/7
Happy Friday everyone!
It's another day of excessive heat so be careful out there. At least tomorrow and Sunday temperatures will drop to more appropriate levels, so plan your outdoor  activities wisely. Remember too that the governor has a state-wide curfew still in effect until Monday. During this time no person is permitted to travel anywhere on foot or by vehicle between 8 pm and 5 am unless you are exempt. Read the official Emergency Declaration of the curfew here.
The local Real Estate market continues its incredibly fast pace with The Absorption Rate dropping to 2.6 months. The current Sale to List Price Ratio is now 97.3%, and the Sold Days on Market stands at just over 40 days. If you are  thinking of buying or selling your home and have questions, or would like to discuss how these indicators could affect your real estate plans, we are happy to help you.

Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend
Fri 5/22 - Sun 5/24
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! While we traditionally enjoy our outdoor time with our families, this year's celebrations will be different. What hasn't changed though is the honor and respect our fallen heroes deserve. Please remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us all.
In perhaps a sign of good things to come, the Real Estate market has kept us extremely busy for the last several weeks. Record low rates and lack of inventory has dropped the Days on Market considerably, and raised average selling price as well.
If you're back to work now as part of the careful reopening of our businesses, be safe. Enjoy your holiday with those closest to you.
If you are out and about, we will have Open Houses, both live and virtually, this Sunday on the East side at 2484 N Yellow Flower Trail and in the Sabino Vista neighborhood at 8422 E Hillwood Lane. Stop by and say hi if you're in the area and have your mask on!
As always, please let us know if we can be of any help to you or someone you know.
Warm Regards...Ann, Ron, Corilynn, Desiree and Shelly

Happy Mother's Day Weekend everyone!
This Mother's Day will certainly be different of course, but it can't take away from the best gift a mother can receive, your love! We hope your day is filled with all the love you deserve.
Since we've received questions from many of you about our local Real Estate market, rest assured properties in Tucson are still desirable. From last April to this April 2020, the average sale price has increased almost 14% and the average Days on Market has dropped from 55 days to 39 days. Check out our newest listing at Canyon View at Ventana.   Because of Covid, we are not holding live Open Houses. But we are holding live virtual open houses for our listings. Simply LIKE our FaceBook Business Page live virtual Open Houses will be posted.

Fri 3/1 - Sun 3/3
Tumblr media
Happy Friday Everyone. If it’s not snowing, it must be golf season!  And so it is, with the Cologuard Classic this weekend at the Omni Tucson National Resort. Go see the pros who make it look so easy that you’re willing to get back out on the course yourself. Don’t worry if you lose a half-dozen balls again, they’ll make more!  Wait, golf is too slow paced for you? Then catch the Tucson Bicycle Classic this weekend instead.  500 cyclists from around the US will compete over 3 days of racing in the beautiful surrounds by Gates Pass.  And for the 4-wheel-drive lovers out there, don’t miss the Monster Jam Arena Tour.  Definitely bring your earplugs.  If you used to be known as Mustang Sally, you’ll want to check out the Southern Arizona Mustang’s Club Fords on Fourth show this Sunday.
Tumblr media
The UofA Music program presents the 41st Annual Arizona Jazz Week with classes, recitals, and performances.  Also on campus this weekend is the Tucson Festival of Books.  Or combine music (the Blues) and reading (wine labels at least) at the 7th annual Southeast Arizona Wine Growers Festival tomorrow and Sunday at Kief-Joshua Vineyards down south.  In the opposite direction, you’ll find the Arizona Renaissance Festival continues.
Tumblr media
Starting Sunday and continuing all week you can hear 5 concerts performed during the Tucson Winter Chamber Musical Festival.  And in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Grand Canyon National Park, The Tucson Symphony Orchestra presents Grand Canyon State tomorrow afternoon.

Snowing in Tucson? What better time to think about ice hockey!  Watch our Tucson RoadRunners Hockey Team take on the Bakersfield Condors tomorrow night at the Tucson arena.  Snow or no snow, this is the final weekend for the Tucson Rodeo.  Ram Mutton-Bustin and Junior Rodeo, followed by the Pro Rodeo competition and then the Barn Dance.  Get those boots warmed up then immediately head for more country dancing at Trail Dust Town tonight.  And since you’re in a country mood, Desert Diamond Casino presents Charlie Pride tonight at 8pm.
Tumblr media
You like your music with vocals, spoken or sung, and with a simple beat and no instrumentation. You want simple lyrics including non-sense syllables.  No, it’s not your favorite rap artist!  It’s Doo Wop! Hear the famous doo wop songs of the 50’s and 60’s and also hear what some of today’s contemporary music sound like in Doo Wop tonight when The Fox Theatre presents The Doo Wop Project.
Tumblr media
Forget paying $12 for one movie ticket and another $20 for a popcorn and drink. Head to The Screening Room for The Apex Short Film and Music Video Festival where $8 gets you 4 hours of film and music videos this Sunday.  For an out of this world video along with world music, catch the UA Presents Bella Gaia Sunday at Centennial Hall.
Whatever your plans this weekend, enjoy.  As always, don’t hesitate to let us know if we can be of help to you or someone you know!

Fri 2/15 - Sun 2/17

Happy Friday everyone. Classical music lovers will be at Centennial Hall tonight to see Joshua Bell and his 300-year-old Stradivarius violin perform the music of the masters.  The question is, are you going to hear this exceptional violinist who has 40 CD recordings to his credit, appeared on countless TV shows and specials and has won every type of music award imaginable?  Or are you going because he’s got those movie star looks?
Tumblr media
With the rainy weather this weekend, indoor events might be a welcomed option. Whether you call it lead molybdate, PbMoO4, or just plain Wulfenite, go take a peek at it along with hundreds of other gem types at The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show over at the TCC this weekend.  What is Wulfenite you ask?  Why not read all about it, and other gemstones, in a book you can pick up for next to nothing at the Pima Country Library Book Sale.  Both events will benefit from cloudy weather.  Of course, if the sun does pop out, all the car lovers will be heading over to the Cruise, BBQ and Blues Festival and Auto Show in Oro tomorrow.
Tumblr media
Hey, sports fans.  Wouldn’t it be interesting if your team played the whole season all at one time?  Watch football or baseball for a week straight and then you’re done until next year! Well, rodeo fans are sports fans. They enjoy the roping, wrestling, riding and racing categories like you enjoy seeing your favorite player score a touchdown or hit a home run!  When the gates open tomorrow they get to see an entire Tucson Rodeo sporting event over the next eight days.  See the Tucson Rodeo event list here.  For horse fans, there’s also horse track racing events at Rillito this weekend, and horse jumping at the HITS Winter Classic too.
24 Hours in the Old Pueblo is a weekend mountain bike event that includes a 24-hour race in the desert.  Entertainment, sleeping areas, food, and beer are available. What could possibly go wrong?  Suppose you drink too much, fall off your bike and break a leg, and get attacked by a band of roving Javalinas! Relax, the event is sponsored by Tucson Medical Center!

The 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is this Sunday in downtown Tucson.  And in true party fashion, you can start your celebration early with the Half Way to St Pat’s Day Party on Saturday at Sentinel Peak Brewing.  And the piece de resistance?  It’s also Arizona Beer Week, the perfect trifecta!
Regardless of your plans, have a great weekend everyone!  And as always, please let us know if we can be of any help to you or someone you know.

Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend.
Fri 2/8 - 2/10

The roads are clogged, restaurants are packed, and hotels are booked solid.  It takes twice as long for Uber or Lyft!  Welcome to the 2019 Tucson Mineral and Gem Show!  For over 50 years running this show has brought treasure seekers and sellers alike to Tucson for 2 weeks every February.  And they have brought their economic impact to Tucson, more than $100 million dollars yearly!  Thank you gem show!  Want to get away? You can try to escape to Tubac for the longest running outdoor art festival in the country.  The 60th Tubac Festival of the Arts promises great art, activities, food and entertainment.  Just be aware that the roads getting there will be clogged, restaurants will be packed and the hotels are all booked!

Stay local and visit Cupids: Eros and Arrows Art Show instead.  Preview local artists’ works, drink champagne, and have a chance to win a piece of art. Tomorrow all day.  Or travel north to Gold Canyon AZ, drink Meade, watch jesters and jousters, and shout Dilly Dilly, at the 31st Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival.  Prefer beer to Meade?  Well you’re in luck as Tucson and Marana both celebrate Arizona Beer Week starting today.  50 different events in which beer plays a prominent role and yes, it’s always 5 o’clock or later somewhere in the world.  Cheers!

This is the last weekend to experience the powerful and dramatic play, Two Trains Running.  Set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District during the 1960’s, the play was a finalist for a Pulitzer price and won a Tony Award and The American Theatre Critics Award for best new play.  If you haven’t yet heard, the upcoming Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s presentation of ‘The Best of the Eagles’ had to be changed due to licensing/royalty issues.  Instead, you are now able to purchase tickets for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s ‘The Music of Led Zeppelin’.  And in an ironic twist, one of the main supporting sponsors is none other than The Prime Leaf, a Medical Cannabis Dispensary in Tucson!  Something tells me the audience for this show might be a little different than the usual TSO performances!
If you’re on the Northwest side of town this weekend stop by our Open House at 11600 Copper Creek and say hi.  Whatever your plans, have a great weekend everyone.  And, as always, don’t hesitate to let us know if we can be of any help to you or someone you know.
