"Motivation for Harvard Students" or all students basically
1. If you fall asleep now, you will dream. If you study now, you will live your dream.
2. When you think it’s too late, the truth is, it’s still early.
3. The pain of studying is only temporary. But the pain of not knowing—ignorance—is forever.
4. Studying is not about time. It’s about effort.
5. Life is not all about studying. But if you can’t even conquer this little part of life, then what else can you possibly do?
6. Enjoy the inexorable pain.
7. It’s those who are earlier than the others, those who put in more effort, who can enjoy the feelings of success.
8. Not everyone can truely succeed in everything. But success only comes with self-management and determination.
9. Time is flying.
10. The saliva that flow now will become the tears of tomorrow.
11. Dogs are learning, ambassadors are playing.
12. If you don’t walk today, you’ll have to run tomorrow.
13. People who invest in the future are realists.
14. The level of education is in direct correlation with your salary.

Do the things you used to talk about doing but never did. Know when to let go and when to hold on tight. Stop rushing. Don’t be intimidated to say it like it is. Stop apologizing all the time. Learn to say no, so your yes has some oomph. Spend time with the friends who lift you up, and cut loose the ones who bring you down. Stop giving your power away. Be more concerned with being interested than being interesting. Be old enough to appreciate your freedom, and young enough to enjoy it. Finally know who you are. -Kristin Armstrong

He is al-Fattah – The Opener
He creates a way when there seems to be no way and opens a door when there seems to be no key. He is the Judge Who decides what is best, and guides you when confusion overtakes you. Whenever you reach your dead end, don’t stand there wondering what’s happened, instead call out to the only One who can create a path from absolutely nowhere: ‘Ya Fattah, iftah ‘alayya!’ (O Opener of ways, open up my way). He is al-Fattah, and as He opens up the skies upon the dead earth, and breaks away the darkness with the dawn, so too can He open up upon your dead heart, open your eyes to solutions, remove your obstacles, and grant you a way out.

Look, the thing is I would not lie to you, just for the sake of interim serenity of your soul. It's not their fault, it's your fault. Stop being so vulnerable. Stop being in pursuit of someone else to make you happy, untangle your mysteries for you, ask you to eat, ask you to like yourself, or make you feel good about yourself. Be responsible for yourself! Don't just like yourself; Love yourself! Don't stay grief-stricken in a hope for someone else to make you happy. Become a hope for someone, but DO NOT stay in hope for anyone! Because no matter what, we all are humans, none better than the other. Be your own paragon because at the end of the day, it all comes down to "not my circus, not my monkeys."
Deal with your own circus! Become the ringmaster of that circus!

Do you know background of ATTA'HIYYAAT, as to why we recite it in every namaz?
Attahiyyaat is a very important 'Dua' we repeat it in our daily prayers. When I learnt the importance of this, it melted my heart.
Attahiyat is actually a part of conversation between Our Creator Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu'alayhi wasallam during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraj.
When Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam met Allah SWT, he didn't say 'Assalam aleikum'. What is someone going to say when he meets Allah ? We can't wish HIM peace because ALL sources of peace are through HIM.
So Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam said:
"Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu" (All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allah)
Allah replied:
"Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabiyyu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarka'tuhu" (Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allah's Mercy and Blessings).
To this, Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam replied:
"Assalamu Alaina Wa'ala'Ibadillahis Saa'liheen" (Peace be on us and on all good slaves of Allah)
Note* Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam included "us" in his reply... (and on all good slaves of Allah)
And listening to this conversation between Allah and His Messenger sallalahualayhiwasalam, the Angels said:
"Ash'had'u'un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash'hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd'uhu Wa Rasooluh"
(I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).
SubhanAllah!
I now understand the importance of this conversation in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.
