I have now beaten Act 3, and have a fairly solid idea of what is going down.

I do now have a few minor gripes: the sudden appearance of enemies via a back route into your territories with no foreshadowing artificially extends the act, as one scrambles to fix the problem. It felt cheap.

The game can get very grindy when you are on defense, prepping your offense, especially when taking manual control is much better in terms of health lost.

I also felt that I was really lacking levels at the start of the act, which gives me concerns about grindiness.

Ultimately though these are all minor, and I am absolutely still enjoying the game. The addition of Carmine is nice, purely for the Turn 1 Scarlet of the People.

The game actually reminds me of Advance Wars (in a favourable way). Not so much in the gameplay, but in the flow of progression.

Finally, I hope Scarlet can get a polyam relationship with Lily and Primula. (I hope that Primula is her second support slot)

Now that I've completed act 2, I have further thoughts on The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily:

As beautiful as the art is, Scarlet's fingers are uncannily long.

I wish the map was more complex and in-depth, but you had about double the number of units.

I want to start battles with more than 3 MP and/or have them last one or two extra turns.

The character's skits/support conversations are pitch perfect in terms of content and length.

I've only gotten part way through the tutorial so far, but so far The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily has been exquisite.

The artwork is gorgeous, the voice acting is delightful and the concept seems like it was perfectly tailored to me.

I'm looking forward to whatever else it has in store.

In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, World 6-6 revolves around taking a ride on a boat in a dark underground lake. The boat is equipped with a light that can be rotated by tilting the Wii Remote, which allows the player to see the obstacles and enemies ahead.

Evidently, the developers thought highly of this boat, as the internal name for the boat object is "NICE_BOAT". It is the only instance of any object in the code being referred to as "nice".
