I think these are probably different contexts so we can't compare.

Andrew was very emotional at the screenings, I am so glad that he had such a good support system. All I have heard from those screeners was how much Paul looked after him. He was getting an extra tight squish there (and some neck nuzzles).

Even more suspicious is the Bafta red carpet hug where Andrew puts his hand somewhere that feels outside of the platonic space.

I can't find the video anywhere lol but back in February I saw a tiktok of a person rating BAFTA looks and they had a picture of Paul and Andrew in the background and they said they looked like they were just waiting for the night to be over so that they could get drunk and make out with each other lol which I thought was so on brand for them (also reminded me of that one interview when Andrew said if Paul was to get arrested it would be for being drunk and disorderly)

This feels like an accurate description. They were so touchy and giggly that night. That photo of them from the afterparty looks a lot like a couple who have been caught making out messily. Even on-stage they were giggling and touching each other. We will never see the likes of it again.

Paul is a known messer and WILD. Andrew has seen things of that man drunk and messy.

The short story predominantly is, but it also mentions other lovers and relationships, so I figure it will go into that as well.

I figure the film will greatly expand on the story. I get the feeling David will be Lionel's great love despite being with others.
