What is the solution?  Decentralize, and never use one place for all your things. Make the social media sites ask for your presence, and don’t give them the position that they feel it is a favor to you.

Anonymous Bites Back Supports Free Catalonia

As part of the projects supported by free speech activists of Anonymous Bites Back, the show streams live educational discussions by Catalan activists. In Catalonia there isn’t one day passed without events. In their path to freedom, follow with us about their struggle. A history is being made. Every sunday at 21:00 GMT+1.

In first episode the general information about Catalonia and the problems they have been facing were discussed by Anonymous activists.  

In second and third episodes we discussed the history of Catalonia and why Catalans want their independence.

In fourth episode our guests informed us about what difficulties Catalans are having in their daily lives, the arrested Catalan politicians and elected Catalan MEPs not being accepted to the European Parliament.

In fifth episode, recent information about the attack in Barcelona by Spanish intelligence to distract citizens from the Catalan freedom elections has been presented. 

We also update our followers about the hunger strike our brother Jorge Fernandez is doing, for a Free Catalonia, Free Speech and Free Assange. He is our regular guests on sundays talking about his trip he started in Strasbourg in front of the European Parliament and on his way to Brussels.

Anonymous Bites Back and the fight for free speech

Our friends Aegis Alliance wrote an article about us recently:

“When Anonymous Bites Back was launched, the idea was to simply create an alternative live stream that provides a different view on the world. When they started they never expected to have to deal with censorship issues, they didn’t know they would be forced to find solutions to a problem that destroyed many other “dissident” live streamers. On their path to a broadcasting site for anonymous, they’d have to defeat censorship to have their voices heard.”

Anonymous Bites Back Free Speech Activists Found a Way to Defeat Censorship

Recently, Hacknews and Cyberguerilla wrote articles about how free speech activists found a way to come over censorship measures on social media to get their voices heard. 

After the Anonymous Bites Back show was “shadowbanned” on both Facebook and YouTube, the Anonymous activists had to find solutions. Quickly a team member developed a method to stream to over 30 different social media websites at once. This allowed them to be decentralized, no longer being dependent on any individual website. They would always be online “somewhere” and would just post the links to their incredibly large network. Read further in these articles about how their battle against censorship succeeds.

Most people on the internet by now are aware of the situation of Julian Assange. The Anonymous Bites Back free speech show expressed their public support for him in an article on their site. Historically the collective of hackers supports Wikileaks and Julian Assange. But the arrest of their “brother” really sparked new anger and activity among them.
