Umbra raised a brow at the stare the other was giving him. Cant he eat his frozen plastic wrapped hot pocket in p e a c e. Its not like he just took out a whole ass dinner table and chomped on whatever.

"Eh if it doesnt effect me or its a world wide threat then no I dont really care about whats around"

Especially if its just him taking a much needed hourly snack. Though he probably should've taken the plastic off and heated it up so its...less gross for others to witness. His ears perk up at the sight of a beetle. Ooh.

Umbra said, while taking a frozen hot pocket out of his quills, yes he stores things in there- wait is he– yep…He took a bite out of it without even unwrapping the plastic.

“Those are frequent around this time.”

Umbra said through his chewing, he wasnt exactly here for the strange energy source, he was just here to find some bugs.

     Shadow turned to look at the other and just… stared. Gawked, more like. What was he doing? What was that? Storing unwrapped food in his… He couldn’t hide the wrinkle of his muzzle in disgust. Imagining that thing touching his gloves, or the dough on his quills… What a texture nightmare. 

     “Frequent or common doesn’t mean not dangerous. You don’t seem to care about what��s going on around you, huh.” Considering Shadow just watched him pull a hot pocket out of his quills and bite into it, clearly not.

it’s mars. i ran @striperinged​ for a hot minute ( and by a “hot minute”, i mean, like, a week ), and i completely forgot my login information the moment i wanted to start writing again. we love: having a worm-infested brain🥴🥴

Umbra, being all cranky and sleepy, said while he purposely stomped on some roots in spite, of course being careful on not to trip, that would be quite embarrassing, no? Not even fazed about the fact that theres a doppleganger right next to him.

“Why are we here again?”

     Shadow wasn’t much of a fan of people who purposefully tried to harm plant life, but he’d forgive it for now. Those roots weren’t going anywhere any time soon. He watched the other curiously. 

     Doppelgangers weren’t really something that threw him off too much lately, they were kind of expected with all the crazy adventures going on. How else does one explain Sonic meeting his younger self so often? 

     “Following strange energy readings. It’s common at this point.” He figured that this Shadow was here for the same reason.
