one thing i love about star wars is that even though the clone wars makes a legitimately good and admirable effort to really get across how huge and expansive the galaxy is and how many different unrelated but still important conflicts are going on at once, the Vast and Swarming criminal underworld of the entire galaxy is apparently still just like the same seven people who all know each other, have all (excluding boba) probably dated each other in varying configurations, and who collaborate on all of the same crimes. and our heroes 100% know this and are completely nonplussed by it

While there were some things I didn’t love about the Ahsoka finale (where is my Hera/Ezra hug!), overall it was such a gorgeous episode and that perfectly understood everything Star Wars is about.
It’s about family and lineage, about those who came before you and the family you choose for yourself. It’s about grief and loss and difficult choices. Facing the consequences of those choices. It's about letting go and finding peace in what you cannot change. Fighting for something bigger than yourself. It's about light and darkness and the people who are all of it at once.
In the end, Ahsoka understood the lesson Anakin never could. The same lesson Kanan taught Ezra and that Sabine chose to ignore to bring him home. That moving on doesn't mean forgetting.

SITH! OBI-WAN & ANAKIN SKYWALKER | WHAT IF? STAR WARS BY ME. I always liked the idea of Obi-Wan corrupted by the dark side, so i made this. Star Wars really needs a what if show.

I am obsessed with the way Hayden Christensen moves with his lightsaber in the new episode of Ahsoka
You can see his prequels training shining through it's an extension of his arm his emotions his acting
He's just so fluid with his lightsaber in a way that others in Ahsoka aren't. You can feel the power in his strikes - Djem So to Ahsoka's Ataru (though to be honest she's using more Shii-Cho and Shien than Ataru in recent episodes). Sometimes you can see Rosario Dawson perform each move seperately because that was the way it was taught to her. But not for Hayden. He flows.
A little bit of the prequels came back alive with him in a single episode of a disney+ exclusive show and I love him for it
