I just love how details in life on mars take on new meaning after ashes when they didn't initially have them.... Gene feeling bad for impulsively shooting a young man he thought was a threat, Ray trying to talk Simon Lamb down from taking his life, Chris trusting Gene and Sam with the train heist stake out then freaking tf out when it all goes wrong and he gets shot at.
