I hate people who are like: "When will you get a second child? She will be lonely without a sibling." As an only child, this pisses me off extremely

Yes, I find that bothersome. I think it typically comes from those with big families so they aren't intending any meanness when they say stuff like that. They're typically imagining their own life without their siblings. I, for instance, love my brother and I'm so glad I got to grow up with him! But I also would never ask that question of a single child family because you never know how many losses someone has had, or if they've struggled with infertility, or just very satisfied having the one.

I am so lucky I was able to have Baby Secret. She's my double rainbow and all I could ever ask for!

Baby Secret will definitely not be lonely, however! She'll have...let me count...seven girl cousins and three boy cousins! Seven of which are all within an hour of me. My brother, whom I mentioned, is having a girl in September so they'll be very close in age and will probably be the best of friends. She has three sets of grandparents, thanks to my mom and dad divorcing and remarrying, and one set is a few doors down. The rest are maybe 10 minutes away. Me and my husband will also play with her allllllll the time. Loneliness won't be a thought in her mind.

Single children can have the biggest, most fulfilling lives. And so can children with siblings.

A year old 😱 I feel like it was yesterday that you took a break because your pregnancy was being difficult!! Hope everyone is well with Baby and y'all have fun with the first birthday 💖 (and get some cute photos! For yourself and your family, obviously, I mean. I don't have any I don't think but my sister looks like she's having a great deal of fun in hers 😂)

Selfishly hoping you can take comms again soon! I've got this idea that won't leave me alone since I saw that panel haha. But your health and rest come first ofc!

I think I took off less time pregnant than I did at the 3-4 month mark of Baby Secret's life! For some reason that 3-4 month area kicked my booty! She's very feisty and opinionated so of course she'd give me a hard time. <333

I hope I can get back to it soon, too! I've reached equilibrium with baby-ing and mom-ing, it just leaves no time for anything else at present. I haven't read a single fic, or book, or made any art for myself since Baby Secret arrived. For good reason, sacrifices must be made, but I'm also looking forward to the time where I can have a bit more wiggle room. Maybe just like, 30 minutes! ^^
