the asmp has ended!
for those who don't know, asmp was a passion project that was always going to end. it was a one-pov storyline! unlike other SMPs that have been created, this survival multiplayer sever was a pre-meditated narrative but just using minecraft as the medium!
i created the "asmp" narrative awhile ago, but didn't know how to truly do the story justice. i was going to originally drop the storyline but as a book in the future, but i wanted to try and truly push myself by making a physical story and thought minecraft would be the perfect medium for that as i'm able to create builds, have my friends play the characters, and as well physically create exactly what the main character is seeing
using minecraft as the medium was great, however there is a common misconception with this project that it being "one pov" means its "not a real smp". i hope you expand your knowledge further and understand back in the day, this is what "SMPs" were all about! storylines all under the false guise of being a normal "server world." while there was a storyline the entire time, the audience and the character you were watching explored the world together!
i hope this makes sense for those confused :D the whole idea of it being a "solo POV" is because it was always going to end, it was always a story, from the first episode. i just had to use the false guise of "oh yeah, my friends can definitely hop on anytime and only i can stream it" because.. well.. i couldn't TELL YOU, the AUDIENCE, that there was always a storyline to be followed because it'd spoil what was truly happening.. you know.. like a book..
i hope you enjoyed the storyline, and now you know exactly what it is.. maybe a season two is in order.. maybe if i decide not to do it through minecraft, could be through written work instead?
i legitimately cant go to sleep until i get this au out of my head, shoves this into the world so i can rest
extra notes:
-gabriel pulled a swap because Emelie was getting increasingly unwell after her pregnancy/birth, so he traded his sickly kid out for a healthy changeling in an attempt to sway her mental health in a positive direction ("look honey your son isn't dying") in the hopes it would make her recovery physically
-it didn't work and Felix grew up among weird magical people who made him acutely aware that he wasn't like them
-Marinette is not immune to magical charms and magical persuasion but her clumsiness offsets the power they have on her, so as long as she's awkward she's virtually unaffected
-once Adrien finds out about Felix he just instantly sees Felix as a brother even tho Felix is actively trying to do him a murder (he will not succeed. victorian ass sickly boy trying to kill a magical being lol lmao even)

Ren is sitting on a grey office chair, one hand on the mouse and one on a keyboard. There is a white fan next to the keyboard on the implied table with two red streamers blowing at him. Ren is shirtless and sweating wearing his sunglasses on his head while his dog ears are down and his tail is poking through the gap between the seat of the chair and armrest. He looks exhausted from the heat. End ID]
