      Okay first and foremost, I did not make that art- the credit goes to the incredible artist because honestly this is one of my favorite Vesperia pieces. :] <3 Much love to this artist.

AND NOW!

       Let me sap at each and every one of you lovely individuals because I need to tell you all a story: this blog was made as a joke. Look at the URL. I literally, on a whim, made a joke blog because I told my darling friend Cherry that if I was going to write anyone from Vesperia, I would write Karol, and then I thought of that URL and was like “heh, why not”. I had absolutely zero intention of taking this blog seriously, promoting it, or even really keeping it. I absolutely love Karol Capel, but I really didn’t think much about writing him or the like. And then I got started and… I was hooked. I have met some of my best friends through this specific fandom and blog. I have written some of my favorite things, already, on this blog. I have found a character that has endeared himself to me from his second line (I really hated Karol on instinct when he screamed, I won’t lie… but then god damn he was so precious), and my adoration and absolutely unreasonably overprotectiveness of him has only grown. (But Samee, everyone says, the last few posts on your blog are totally about him in the clutches of death??? Shhh I hurt him because I love him). 

      But I thought there would be no better 1,000th post on this blog than one dedicated to you guys, the gang who makes it possible and whom I appreciate more than I could ever express. I won’t lie, this is going to devolve into a partial bias list, because there are some people who I simply must call out and smush faces of, but I just want to say right here, right now, with all the sincerity in my heart: Thank you guys. If you guys didn’t send in asks or chat with me or write with me, this blog would be dead in the water. And Karol is so damn important to me. I’d have never imagined that what started as a hyper-private joke blog could become easily one of my favorite characters I have ever written. So thank you. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have you lovely people to write for and with. <3

     “I’m willing to bet that the Wonder Chef has standards.       Why would he feed someone so low as yourself?”

Poking her head out from underneath the umbrella’s cover, she felt a droplet hit just beneath her left eye. It closed in reflex and she stared up with one eye as more drops just barely missed. Hiding under the shield of her umbrella, she look to Zaveid. With nothing to project him from the rain it probably wouldn’t take very long for him to be soaking wet as the rain picked up speed. It was no skin off her back if he got all wet. She’d stay nice and dry underneath her umbrella.

And there was nothing stopping her from having her fun.

Twirling the umbrella’s handle quickly, she spun the canopy and shook all the water off and onto the Wind Seraph with a smirk hidden behind the accessory. So long as this rainstorm didn’t have strong winds, she’d be able to torment the other Seraph for a little while longer. 

“ I want to eat all the delicious food of this era…then..maybe I can find the Wonder Chef!”

Zaveid say happy , but he also knew he would have to win some galds to do so. He will have to fight more to eat more. But now he had to recover to not make Edna worry about him. And of course the others.

“ How cruel…have luck finding another handsome wind Seraph. I know yer going ta miss me~”

No way this Seraph was worried about her. The only person she had ever witnessed him care about was Rose and even then, Edna could she some sort of ulterior motive within him. While the others might not see it she understood that something was off with the Wind Seraph. It caused her to hesitate in placing her trust within him. However, now she felt secure enough to at least trust her health with the other Seraphim. It wasn’t like he was going to do anything to her- he had no reason to.

     “You know he’ll ask why... Ugh, it’s far easier        to just stay here, I guess.”

While she hated to admit it, Dezel’s words spoke true to her. If they found themselves in a situation where Sorey used the ability far too many times any they needed her in a fight, she’d be out of luck. If they chose to leave with her in such a condition, they might find themselves in a predicament that had no easy solution.

Watching as he removed his hat to set it on the table, Edna sighed. She got the message. The Wind Seraph was just as perceptive as she had pegged him as and dropped the idea of leaving in such a state. They’d be better off waiting for her condition to improve so they could use Giant’s Strength again.

     “Do you have any idea how boring sitting in bed all       day is going to be?”

“ Okay ”

He sighed and placed a hand on his hips. While he didn’t wanted to show concern..Have one of their partner unable to fight in a adventure like this was dangerous. Specially if there were fighting a enemy that was weak against earth…but what was worst..they could leave her with a wound that will make it complicated for her to fight on the future.

Dezel sighed and noticed Edna’s action. Was she trying to tell he was worried? Maybe she wasn’t too used to read body language after all. He shrugged and placed his hat on the night table next to the bed. While he didn’t uncover his eyes. That should help her with this.

“But you  tell Sorey to chill ,before we can’t use you in battle”

After , he wasn’t going to deliver the message to the Shepherd, it wasn’t his power , neither his body. So why intervene? The least he could do was to give Edna medicine or at least infusions with medicinal herbs for this problem.

10.) Are you good at hiding your feelings?

I’d say I am depending on the feeling. If I’m sad then I can usually hide it pretty well. None of my friends have ever seen me actually express when I’m sad. If I’m pissed then you’ll probably notice. And if I’m happy i usually look pissed for whatever reason (awful case of resting bitch face).

She’s got brown hair, brown eyes, and looks like a fucking ghost. Ven’s the reason why I’m in the majority of the fandoms I’m in and she makes having her as your best friend the most painful thing in the world but I guess I still love her. She’s a furry and wants to fuck a cat with dreadlocks, an eyepatch, and has an unhealthy obsession with a bug (who she would also like to fuck, I’m sure).

The word pierced Edna’s train of thought immediately. Images of Ladylake when she had first visited it with Sorey when they made a return trip and every time she had seen the city from her perch on her mountain disappeared in an instant. Checking to see if the single word had been directed at herself, she looked to the woman beside her. Sure enough, her gaze was set on the small Seraphim. Eyes widened- this couldn’t be right.

      “So you can see me?”

It wasn’t every day you found a human who had the ability to not only sense the presence of Seraphim, but see them as well. The last one Edna had come across had disappeared and the other resided in a place far from her own dwelling space. 

Edna took a good look at the woman as she adjusted the umbrella’s rod against her shoulder to block the sun from her eyes at the side of her vision. With her head tilted slightly to the side, she spoke again.

      “Peculiar’s a strong word for someone        who looks far more out of place than I        do, lady.”

By this point, she knew how to deal with such a situation. It had happened several times before- some action she took would result in her ending up in a foreign world, usually with no idea where she was and what the nature of the world she ended up in was. It was actually interesting at this point, the cultures and ways of the worlds she ended up in, and she would often take some time to learn about the place before she set about searching for a way to return home.

Perhaps that was why she stood in the first city she reached after emerging from the forest she woke up in, leaning against one of the walls lining the pathways, calmly watching the people pass by. She rather easily took note of the short blonde as she observed the city- she looked entirely out of place, after all, much like the knight herself.

“…Peculiar.”

It was all she had to say, and it was spoken quietly, though even she wasn’t sure what she was talking about.

     “Not really... Just paying a visit.”

What a lie. Even Seraphs could get lonely and the solitary Earth Seraph was no exception. Now that her brother was gone, she had that mountain all to herself and visits were rare. The occasional human would venture up the Spiritcrest in search of the dragon that was rumored to live there however, each would return home in disappointment. Humans sought the thrill of a near-death encounter with an otherworldly creature without thinking of the consequences if it was truly still there... How idiotic.

     “Coming to check on Ladylake too... I wasn’t       worried about you. Just curious.”

More lies. She made sure to promise Sorey- although not formally- to make sure that Alisha would be okay in the years to come. This was the first time Edna chose to pay the princess a visit since his departure and looking at her only reminded Edna of the journey she had endured. The princess hadn’t been there for long but she reminded Edna of a time where she could say she was happy.

And so Edna sat with one leg crossed delicately over the other as she watched the human absently.

      “I haven’t seen anyone since he left so... I        thought I’d come look for someone. How is        Ladylake running lately?”

As soon as her maid had informed her that she had attended to her duties, Alisha thanked her and walked outside to clear her head. Expecting the usual – a clean area, and no company that she was informed of ever having, she walked towards the tables. As far as she could tell…they looked clean enough. 

Though, she never gets the chance to actually inspect them, before she notices a surprise and nearly jumps. Before that happens, she contains herself and directs a small smile towards Edna. 

“Oh, Edna? I wasn’t expecting you.” 

Though it did help that Lailah and Rose recently paid her a visit. Maybe word didn’t yet reach her? Or maybe it did, and that’s why her unexpected guest was here to begin with. “Is there something you’d like to discuss? Oh, and please, if you’d like me to get you anything, you need to just ask me.”
