This became far longer than intended, but your ask gave me an idea and the little clown in my brain ran away with it ('￣▽￣)

Optimus isn't so much sulking as he's just frequently getting deeply lost in his thoughts. Ratchet pieces together that Megatron's got something to do with the recent change in behavior and talks to him about it, then promptly wishes he hadn't lol. He's always been a hater in my brain, though, so nothing's really changed about his interactions with Megatron.

Thank you for the ask and the compliment! It's making me happy that people are enjoying and showing interest in my silly little drawings :D

And now Zing is probably feeling justified in his self-sabotaging behaviors. Because it was GOING to go wrong. It's good actually, that Optimus cut it off like that, so definitively. And God. Wings. WINGS. I have a feeling he is just going to withdraw in general he's feeling too much to be able to handle it right now and he like. doesn't. he doesn't know what to do. Which is a first because usually Wings is the one fronting but in such an emotional landscape he is completely unavailable to direct or manage the system/mediate between ideas. You get it! :] Blitz thought that it was a given that they were in love with each other, why else would Optimus treat them so well? And yeah, you'll see how Wings and Zing took it! But it certainly did justify their decision to break it off.

I'm glad you liked that panel sequence! It was one of the clearest things I had planned for this comic other than Blitz's reaction. So much unsaid <3

They absolutely would. Although the clinginess doesn’t end in term one. And since now they’re heavier they can pin their sire to the berth by just laying on top of them.
