I’m in graphic novel hell. You may not hear from me for a while.

I figured it out. You can turn it off in dashboard preferences.
Why are people’s likes showing up on the dash now?? Make it go away.

Is there a way to block community posts from popping up on the dashboard?
I don’t know how they work and I want nothing to do with them.

You as the artist are the most important viewer. At times you might be your only viewer.
Making an art piece specifically to go in your portfolio, just to meet requirements for some studio that doesn’t give a shit about you, is so sad. An art piece that you don’t even enjoy making. An art piece that could end up getting you nothing. Instead of making something that you are passionate about, you wasted your time on a task that you thought needed to get done.
Industry tells you, you must meet “X” requirements and have “X” skills demonstrated in your portfolio. But the truth is, even if you have the “perfect” portfolio, you might not even be considered for the job.
Hours of your free time wasted on assignments you made up for yourself. It leads to burnout.
Maybe instead of setting aside time to work on your portfolio, make the stuff you want to make. The industry does not own you.

Shoutout to the fictional women that live in my head and distract me during work. Couldn't do it without you.

Do you ever plan on returning to Michael is a Werewolf? I remember finding your comic years ago and loving it, just curious!
Most likely no. At least not in its original form as a regularly updating phone scroll comic.
I haven’t done much work on it since the last update I posted. I still love the story and characters and would love to use them again. I think it would be really fun to complete the story some day. So that’s why it’s not a definite no. Just not anytime soon.
I’m not currently working on any comics right now. I’m kind of in a writing slump/art block.
Hoping once my day job slows a bit in fall/winter, that I’ll be able to spend more time on comics.
