overthinking is the thief of manifestation

have you ever been tired? have you ever been somewhere you don't want to be and think "man, i wish i was in bed right now and sleeping"?

when we want to go to sleep, we lay down and close our eyes. we pretend to sleep, to get to sleep.

you set intention and let your mind go, relax, explore random topics and before you know it, you're asleep. were you checking every few seconds to see if you were asleep? no. you just did it.

but if you were to think "why am i not sleeping? am i ever going to get to sleep? i've been laying here a long time." it just makes falling asleep all the more difficult and you just end up laying there, staring at the ceiling when you so desperately want to get the rest you've been waiting for all day.

you don't have to affirm every 2 seconds "i am asleep" and feel like you're lying to yourself because you technically aren't asleep yet. you don't have to affirm "i will sleep tonight" during the day like some tired mantra. you just inherently know. just like how you inherently know your name but don't have to keep reminding yourself. you know you will fall asleep because you do it every night, so you don't even stress.

now lets rewrite this and apply it to shifting.

have you ever wanted to shift? have you ever been somewhere you don't want to be and think "man, i wish i was in my DR right now and living my dream life"?

a.o.c. the elusive muse of many designers, is the official crowned second uber model (by Mrs. Giselle herself) and lifestyle youtuber, she had amassed over 80.5 million followers across her Instagram and YouTube.

"But how did she become of?" you may ask well, not much is known about her since she decides to keep her personal life awfully private but here is what's known,

she was born to a middle-class family on September 10th, 1993, to a painter mother and film director father, in Sammamish, Washington. when she was in middle school she moved to Philadelphia and that is promptly when she started to get into modeling and theatre. there she also met her husband David Corenswet (yes, you heard it right folks... the hot evil guy from twisters), after that point not much is known after that until she gets discovered from an out of the ordinary place, Stanfords. offical. Instagram. page., class of 2016 graduating in biochemistry (as shes shared with us and honestly amazing. truly. I couldn't even pass high school chemistry!) after that she boosted in popularity and soon became a face you say at every fashion week, runway, magazine and occasional stores! she got married in early 2023 and has been reaching heights ever since!

an introduction to me, abridged

nice to meet you. i'm leo. not my actual name, but it is my starsign which is why i chose it as my alias ♌️♌️ i'm black. and 20 years old. and use she/her pronouns.

i'm also a reality shifter. have been since 2020. i shifted for the first time that i can recall in 2024. more about me and my journey bellow the cut.

i shift realities as a passtime. i don't really care for the terminology or logistics or the what why how. i'm in it to live and love and learn and grow.

i have a handful of places that are the apple of my eye. i might make a proper index for them at some point but i generally prefer to share them through moodbaords and/or compilations of pictures. just so you're not completely out of the loop though, here's the pretext behind a few of my most well-loved lives:

#THE SEASON OF THE WITCH | a life in which i'm a witch living in the late 90s, england. i attend hogwarts at the same time as harry potter, except the dark lord is not going to be a fixture in our academic experience because he will never resurface. he died for good in godric's hollow and that's the way it'll stay.

#FILM STRIPS & THE 40S | a life in which i'm a film director who specialises in sapphic romance. i'm leading the production of my latest script, hotel reverie, while also quelling my crush on one of the female leads, dorothy chambers.

#THE LIGHT THAT GUIDES | a life in which i'm the older sister of princess serenity, and thus the crown princess of the moon. the year is 610 bc. my days (nights, rather. perpetual nights) are never ending, but my ability to spectate on the happenings down on earth brings them a bit of novelty.

i also have a few lives that are unpictured (for a lack of a better word) but no less loved, which i will list off in bullet points bellow:

#KOOKY AND SPOOKY | life as the oldest son of the addamms family, but in a magical setting. specifically a noble, british magical setting. time period undecided, but likely around the early 90's. maybe even the marauders era.

#WHAT COMES BEFORE TWILIGHT | life as a teenage girl with the extraordinary ability to recall her past lives. currently living my 12th life in forks, washington. the year is 2003. alice cullen, who i'm about to meet, was my little sister in my 9th life.

#TERROR TO THE BOURGEIOUS | life as a food critic living in paris. think ratatouille (2007) but without the rats. time period undecided but likely to be in the early 2000s like in the movie.

this list will likely grow as i start broadening my horizons and talking about them more on here. but for the time being, i'll leave it at this.

Gotta give Thanks to Maya, and so many other bloggers and even anon.
