I took a nap a couple hours ago which was a mistake because instead of being rested so I can stay up later, I'm just groggy and actually tired now. Otherwise, I've been pretty good lately! I'm slowly starting to get back into art after a year.

I am absolutely loving RE4make so far. There's some dialogue changes I don't prefer. What was wrong with "I'm sure you boys didn't just tag along so we could sing 'Kumbaya' together at some Boy Scout bonfire" ?! Instead Leon sarcastically asks his escorts if they're there to roast marshmallows. I guess there's something I really love about early to mid 2000's dialogue.

And the iconic village scene was better in the original, how the camera would spin around Leon as it zoomed out. Nick did fine with his line delivery, it's just that Paul's was top notch.

I'm gonna constantly compare the two and I know I shouldn't expect a 1 to 1 remake with everything, but there are some things I liked better before.

Ah well.

Time to keep going!
