Another mini comic for my Highschool AU of lunella x eduardo, had a lot of fun drawing flustered/lovestruck Eduardo and their little chibi selves ( ˊᵕˋ )♡

Eduardo's relationship with his female family members needs to be talked about more.

In "The Beyonder" He put his science project with Lunella (which he was looking forward to) on hold to help his mom when she texted him.

And in "Crushed" it is revealed that he has no problem borrowing clothes from his female cousin (even being worried about how upset she'd be when the pants got dirty).

He's so sweet, respective, and helpful towards them!

We love a family oriented guy!

I can see why some fanfics hc him as a big brother to a little sisterヾ(＾-＾)ノHe definitely gives off big brother energy! I also think it would be a fun concept if he had his own older brother, imagine his brother finding about his little crush on a certain girl and teases him nonstop ( ¬ᴗ¬ )

(and bosses him around LMAO)

This reminds me! in one of the earlier episodes of season 1, whenever brooklyn interacted with Eduardo it seemed like to me that they were giving sibling energy (..◜ᴗ◝..)

And how Casey casually mentioned Eduardo's mom as if she knew her personally is really interesting? Were they neighbors? We're their parents friends?? I NEED TO KNOWWW

This may be just me who thinks this, but at least one writer and/or animator shipped Luneduardo.

When The Beyonder says to Lunella "Between your smarts and Eduardo's creativity, you two made something surprisingly beautiful," it literally says "Lunella x Eduardo 👍" when just the science icons and the creativity icons would've gotten the message across just fine.

Out of ANY of the characters, why was Eduardo of all people shown during this scene? a mid-teens Mel-Varr could've EASILY been shown instead and have Lunella be just as surprised since they haven't met yet.

And before any of you saw "that would spoil some of season 2!" Devil Girl briefly shows up seconds later. Obviously, brief spoilers weren’t a problem.

Now onto Season 2! When Lunella asks Eduardo to go to the dance with her (just so she can have someone to go with), this would've been enough to show that he has a crush on her.

But NOPE! they had a whole slide show added. Some body and/or people drew and animated all of this btw.

Now onto Season 2B! After Lunella officially rejects Eduardo and Corey is defeated, Eduardo reveals that he now has a crush on Moon Girl...

Much to Lunella's annoyance and for some reason Casey and Devil's amusement. You'd think they'd be just as annoyed as she was given that all that work on Corey was for nothing, but NOPE! All giggles over here.

They could've EASILY just had another girl show up, reveal that she saw Eduardo's dancing and was impressed by him, have Lunella encourage him to go hang out with the girl, and end the episode with the MG crew fist bumping. I even know which girl they could've used if they didn't wanna use a random background character; Jurnee.

Not only did Lunella and Casey originally believe that Eduardo had a crush on her, but she was also revealed to be a great dancer and was at Eduardo's party as well. The easiest solution was RIGHT THERE, but they chose to have Eduardo fall for the same girl twice (I wonder WHY).

Now, onto the final episode. When Moon Girl leaves to fly off, we also see almost all of her school friends with the one sign...

And when she boards the plane, Eduardo's revealed to have his own personal sign up.

They could've implied that he got over his crush on MG by having him stand with the others with their sign, but NOPE! They went outta their way to animate this boy blushing while holding his own personal MG sign up.

A writer and animator shipping them is the only thing that makes all these scenes being added in (knowing how much limited time they had) make sense!

Do you think Eduardo would join/form a band in High School?

Oh yeah totally! In my highschool AU he's actually part of the basketball team, but he does have a band of his own on the side. I like to think that Edie's parents had high expectations of him and pressured him to do sports 🏀

I can see Eduardo becoming a great artist in high school.

The orange haired girl is supposed to be Zoe from the comics, I redesigned her a bit :)

(I like how the sign Eduardo was holding was made by hand and he actually drew it himself which adds on to my hc of him making hand made gifts for lu!!!)

What do you think Lunella's family relationship with Eduardo would be ?

As far as i can remember they never interacted on the series and on "Family matters" James doesn't like the idea of Lunella having a "boyfriend".

I found it really funny that James was worried about lunella having a bf like he was gonna do something about it, but it's most likely that Adria is the one that's more on the stricter side

And she's more knowledgeable with lunella's relationships! I'd imagine that Adria was suspicious of Eduardo and interrogated him somehow along with mimi. But with time they'd probably get along (knowing that Eduardo is a massive moon girl fan) ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜

She's going to run a Jurassic park except it's just different colored devil dinosaurs in separate cages... ( ≖ ‿ ≖ )

Either that or she would let them all roam the city and protect the world or whatever, but I like the Jurassic park idea better ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭

While I was researching sailor moon, (by researching I mean googling random poses, unfortunately I have never seen sailor moon nor plan on watching it😵‍💫) I found out that the MC and the male lead have a bit of an age gap...🤨 But I'm unsure since the creators change the male leads age frequently? Not really sure why..? But besides the point Lunella and Eduardo are the same age here! The 90's really were something else

Also side note how is sailor moon doing that with her hands (ᵕ•_•)

He did fall for her as both Lunella and Moon Girl after all.

I think he'd be extremely embarrassed cus of the fact that he was a massive moon girl fanboy since he was a young lad and had atleast multiple MG merch in his room that Lunella probably saw

but also crushing even harder (??) he's so astonished and impressed by how Lunella managed to balance both super hero stuff and school at the same time, he already admired her at her "normal" version (let's be fr Lunella is a teen prodigy she definitely not average 👑) and now she surpassed his expectations by being his favourite super hero?? Oh that boy is over the moon

He started to connect the dots a while back after she left the LES. It was a bit suspicious that Lunella left the SAME DAY as Moon Girl but he didn't think much of it ☾

I'm not quite sure how this affects their relationship, whether Eduardo found out intentionally or accidentally, but I feel like he would give her space until she's ready to talk about it!

But this is just my interpretation who knows he could be questioning his feelings after finding out about her since she already rejected him once (ˆ𐃷ˆ)

Aso been thinking about what Lunella and Eduardo's ship name would be, i think it be MoonMelody! I liked how MoonMedia sounded for Lunella and Casey so I decided to copy a bit, respect to MoonMedia for a such fire ship name (˵ •̀ᴗ•́˵)و
