i know the situations are different, i'm speaking purely on the basis of the possibility of being reinstated into the group again because it has happened in an sm group. i wasn't comparing their situations, i was just saying it isn't impossible.

🤷 mark came back to 7dream so i wouldn't put it against them for still believing. at the end of the day, people will do what they want, they aren't being slow, they're being hopeful.

i keep up with riize through fan accounts, really because i literally couldn't escape them so i just went with it but i've also been fighting the urge to fold. there's just so many people who are too vocal about boycotting and not, to the point where they're basically forcing us to do what they're doing yk and reading both arguments, i understand them and it just makes me feel so bad. like idk what to do, i feel bad boycotting and i feel bad not boycotting all because of what everyone else is saying 😭😭?? i hate how some of them are pushing people to do certain things when it's not their choice. neways with that being said, they're promoting seunghan's solo debut now that's set for next month apparently, which.... is another reason why im tempted to stop boycotting. i just feel like atp, it's obvious he's not going back to riize.. and how can riize as a group move on if we don't. i think now all we can do is just support them all even if it separately because sm is just gonna do what they want and i think they've made that clear

im so glad you felt safe enough to speak about this after reading my responses and honestly? i totally get where you're coming from. there's a valid argument for each side. just because a community is being vocal about one narrative, doesn't mean the other is invalid. what happened to understanding both perspectives? everyone's so intolerable of each other, it's baffling. everyone's shoving their own narrative down your throat and when you don't align with their line of thinking, you're immediately disliked.

speaking of seunghan's solo, there's still so much discourse regarding that. if you support his solo and still boycott riize? you're a riize hater, if you boycott both riize and seunghan?congratulations, you suddenly hate all of them. i'm glad he's having his turn to debut again and get what he deserves but really, do we think sm's going to treat him right as a soloist if we're going by the company's history? no. I'm definitely excited and i'm definitely trying to be optimistic but, it's hard. personally, i will be supporting his debut, it's the least i could give to him after all those months of suffering he faced.

now, for the question of still boycotting riize? i personally will. at least, until seunghan receives protection from sm and a proper apology. if you don't want to boycott? that's your decision and it's one in which i will not involve myself. it's your life, i couldn't possibly speak on it (and i frankly don't have the time to LMFAO)

there's definitely an air of doubt regarding his return back to riize, as you've mentioned, you feel that it's obvious he won't be returning back to riize and how can riize move on if we don't, that's valid. i often think about it as well. to each their own. i personally will still like to hold onto the hope of riize being as 7 again. just my personal take.

Tbh I rarely engage with them at all. I still boycott and I am not watching anything. Cause like you said: what was the point if I just continue like normal .

valid valid. i guess the most we can do for now is wait for sm to take some sort of legal action in protection of seunghan. solo or not, i just want him to have his side of the story be heard (although the ideal case is riize being 7)

gonna be soo honest, i dropped riize. the fandom is just so miserable that i personally could not continue to stay there. i’ll always support riize from a distance but i lowkey still won’t listen to their music because to me, it’ll never be the same. i would personally say don’t drop the boycott if you feel conflicted, but it’s your choice at the end of the day

no because i totally get that. it's one of the reasons why i even stopped updating here and lost all motivation :( that's the thing, you know, even if i went back to supporting riize as 6, there'll always be a part of me thinking that this could've happened to any other member, it just so happened to be seunghan, and that in itself is a depressing thought to sit with. i genuinely feel bad for the boys because they're the ones on the recieving end of sm's poor choices, it's cruel. if i'm going to be completely honest, this just reaffirms my belief that being too attached to kpop will bring nothing but harm simply because of how evil these companies are.
