@platypus-mcslothman 😂😂
A character that only ever describes themselves as half-human. They never clarify on what the other half is, even when pressed, and gets insulted that it isn’t already obvious to the other pcs.
Bonus Points: The other half is also human

I love the twist on that scene from a Critical Role episode 😋
Patton: Why must breakfast in taverns be so expensive...
Roman: It's not that expensive, just seven gold.
Patton: Felix, you and me have different experiences with money!
Deceit: Ugh it's to early for this...
Thomas [DM]: As you talk, eventually Cade come downstairs to join you.
Deceit ooc: As ImPasta sees Cade he will take out a pair of somewhat broken spectacles and take out a piece of paper and says.
Deceit: Cade-
Virgil: What's this?
Deceit: I'm sorry-
Virgil: What are you doing?
Deceit: I'm sorry I said that you weren't good enough for-
Virgil: Why are you reading? Why are you wearing those things?
Deceit: I'm trying to apolo- just give me a second! I'm sorry-
Virgil: What?
Deceit: I'm sorry i said you were not good enough for-
Virgil: Did someone tell you to do this?
Deceit: You're very nice- I'm trying to be nice! Just give. this is as painful for me as it is for you! Just give me five seconds!
Virgil: Sure Sure...
Deceit: I'm sorry I was mean-
Virgil *calling to the one behind the bar*: Can we get some food?!
Deceit: You may be kind of weird, but you're also nice.
Virgil: I don't think there was a verb in that sentence.
Deceit: I am sorry, and when you aren't stabbing people, you're sot or cute. Love ImPasta.
Virgil: Okay, so... A few things.
Deceit: Do you have notes?
Virgil: I mean, you don't need to sign it if you're saying it.
Deceit: I don't know! I was writing it! I didn't know if I was going to say it or give it to you! So I panicked and I- I'm sorry.
Logan [ooc]: as Elnaril comes down he catches the end of it and gives a applaud.
Deceit: *groans*
Virgil: Apology accepted.
Deceit: Good.. because I will not do that again.
Patton: Pasta...
Deceit: maybe... hopefully not...
Deceit [ooc]: ImPasta will pull his hat of disguise down over his face to hide.

@platypus-mcslothman 😅 why is this me? (also possibly Isa)
Barbarian with a twist…
Role playing as a barbarian with anxiety. Raging? No just a panic attack. No flight response only, fight. They’d like to run away/avoid combat but their knee jerk reaction is just to swing the nearest thing that qualifies as a weapon. Danger sense? Sure if that’s what you want to call it. Except it’s just happening all the time.

In dnd, resurrecting PCs becomes so easy at higher levels, and though I think that’s a positive, I really like the idea that dying has lasting consequences or triggers events in a PC. Here’s a simple table of interesting but hopefully not game breaking or character destroying ideas. Thoughts? Improvements?

A thought that arises from the idea of tiefling babies often ending up being abandoned: A rich tiefling adventurer retiring and starting up a tiefling orphanage that takes care of rejected tiefling babies and children.

Aaaaaah!
Just finished our Saturday campaign and I killed a blue dragon!
My Gnome Barbarian character Isa killed a blue dragon and I was stunned I managed to deal the killing blow.
It was a wurmling (did I spell that right?) but it had already downed our dragonborn rogue and nearly annihilated our halfling monk (He's super over powered and was the main reason the DM threw the dragon at us)
We were all level 3 (after the dragon fight we leveled to 4) the DM was not happy 😅😂

Let it be known that despite saying like twenty times in the official printed publications of D&D that rules and such are up to interpretation and you can tailor the game, setting, and even rules to your exact specifications……. if anyone actually DOES that, some trog will crawl their way up out of the floorboards to make fun of it, compare it to something, or just generally shit on it lol
Homebrewers, keep homebrewing anything you want. Change races, change rules, change whatever.
