It took us less than 24 hours to decide to go by bicycle to camp and spend the weekend near the beach. But the excitement was great! Do you remember the feeling when you were a kid to know that you will go for a picnic the next day? That what I felt. The confusion about what to bring, or simply check the balance of panniers. Oh…, I’ve missed it. I’m sure some of you can relate to what I feel… However, Luís and I haven’t overcome the pandemic. We know that the virus still there but we feel safer to travel by bicycle, cook our own food, and stay in our own tent. And the fact that we also do physical activity along the way, we also burning the toxic inside us. This short trip also a way to know Portugal better, @centerofportugal especially. Not only for me, for Luís too! If we travel by car, we may not know a cute little village like in this post. In normal circumstantion, Luís usually asked me what I want to do, what I want to have or what I want to be on my birthday. But this year, special year, those things are not easy to do. To be honest, it wasn’t easy for me to accept things.. I got stressed. I rarely update on my social media and installed some games on my phone after years I didn’t play any game. It’s to make me feel that I still have something to control. Yesterday, I turned 32 years old. I sat and contemplating what I’ve been through so far. I remind my self that I am lucky. I am grateful for all the wishes I received and all what I have now... Of course I missed to be on the road with Luís or having ‘freedom’ that we had before the world pandemy... But everything happens for reasons. #latepost . When we were in Lobito, we stayed with @wacunzo . During our stayed, he introduced us to @mpach3co and Alberto. They brought us around and we had fun together. With them remind us how good is it to have friends around. It’s a privileged that travelers can’t have I guess... We can’t just call our friend and meet up on the next hour. Somewhile ago I told you about Angola has a perfect road to reshape the muscle. And it’s still going. . After hundres of flat road, the road slowly inclinating up to Lubango. And of course, what is the point of excercise if it’s not getting harder?! From Lubango to Benguela the road supposely going down most of the time. Yet..., between rolled down, there were undulations that really shaping our muscles. 😍 . I couldn’t say anything that ‘wow’ during our visit in this enormous abyss. . In here also we met Linda with her brother and sister. They are from Mwila tribe.
