How do you handle bigots on Facebook?

So, I accepted a family member's husband's friend request on Facebook and really regret it. I'm very much a feminist and believe in choice. Choice to marry who you want, choice to decide your family planning, choice to identify as whatever gender you want etc etc. Basically I subscribe to the "if its none of my business, you do you" philosophy. But ever since I accepted his friend request, my feed has been filled with the biggest load of shit I've ever seen. I'm talking anti-lgbtqa+, Christians are being persecuted and yet are always right, Bible-bashing, pro-life nonsense. Now the family member is fine. She keeps her political and religious views to a minimum. By that I mean I know she identifies with her hubby but her posts are no where near as blatant as his. She doesn't spout hatred in any of her posts. Now don't get me wrong, I believe that people can believe what they want. I just don't believe they should force their religious views on others. He posts stuff about how the law is enforcing beliefs he agrees with and yet doesn't see the other side. The issue here is he is sharing info that not only is blatantly wrong, but hypocritical and has the potential to be particularly hurtful esp to minorities. To give you an example, one post said something about "I am so blessed, not because I did something good, but because God is so good". Like wtf. Believing in an imaginary friend makes you good while doing good doesn't? Im talking self righteousness, belief in being a warrior of Christ and enforcing his beliefs on everyone. You really don't wanna hear his opinion on trans people serving in the military... I didn't realize he was this extreme when I accepted and now I don't know what to do. I still wanna keep my family member in my life and she is very much under her hubby's thumb which means unfriending him isn't an option right now. Also can't call him out on his shit for the above reason. So question for tumblr. How do you handle a person you have as a friend on Facebook when their political and religious views contrast so harshly with your own? I'm resorting to actively liking and sharing more equality and support posts so they show up on his feed. You don't think gay people should get married cause you believe one man one woman? Hmm, deal with five posts slamming Leviticus and supporting the gay community. You think abortion is murder? Here, read about how Pence caused an HIV outbreak by defunding PP and how abortion rates increased in Texas as a direct result of the policies you advocate. You wanna ban trans people from the military? Here are several stories from trans vets showing they are as capable as anyone else to serve. Another thing, any good Facebook groups I can like and follow to really passively aggressively disrupt his news feed? For every hateful, bigoted post of his I see, I wanna post something supportive of those causes.
