📕📖 Scarlet Violet Play Log 18: 📚

My Pokemons had to train quite a bit before taking on Team Star’s Fighting-Type Boss, because my whole team (except Palafin 🐬) was weak to Fighting types! (Palafin fainted too easily.) X0X I didn’t notice at first, but even Meowscarada was weak to Fighting type, because of its Dark type.

So I Terastalized my Lucario, so that Fighting-type moves wouldn’t be super-effective against him anymore 😆 Then I used ‘Psychic’ all the way.

Drawn without any references, so I hope Lucario’s yoga / meditation pose looks OK!

Did my last Paldea Gym, Montenevera’s Gym! It turns out that Glaseado’s Gym was maybe actually supposed to have been the last Gym! (Because Montenevera’s Gym Pokemon’s levels weren’t as high as Glaseado’s.) No wonder Glaseado’s Gym Leader was so tough! I just thought everyone in Paldea was super-tough XD 

Next I’m going to maybe do Koraidon’s sandwiches and Team Star first, before heading to the Pokemon League!

I’d try to complete the story/comic, but no promises there. Recently my illnesses have been bordering on the critical side again (this time because of my neighbor polluting the area near me), so I thought I was going to die again. 🥲

My neighbor has been doing endless construction (it’s been 5 months, 6 days a week now), disturbing my rare rest (because my illnesses hardly give me a break) with their ceaseless loud drilling and worsening my condition with their pollution.

P.S. I couldn’t decide on the partner, so I ended up drawing both Pikachu and Riolu versions, lol.

📕📖 Scarlet Violet Play Log 16: 📚

My Finizen had finally evolved into Palafin with the help of someone from GameFaqs! Then I went back and cleared Glaseado’s Gym.

Glaseado’s Gym Battle was quite tough (how is everyone’s levels in Paldea so high?). But my Midday Lycanroc dodged 2 Blizzards in a row, otherwise I’m not sure if I could have cleared Glaseado’s Gym! Midnight Lycanroc wasn’t as lucky though… X_X Now there’s just one more Gym left to go! 😆

A present 🎁 for SakuraUmby from deviantART! I drew another Zelda gift art and wrote another story to go along with it for you! I hope you like it! \(^o^)/

Note: The story I wrote takes place after Breath of the Wild, and before Tears of the Kingdom.

Story:

“I heard you helped Hudson in building this town, Link…” Zelda said as Link approached, carrying some sandwiches for their picnic. She then turned her gaze towards Tarrey Town.

“..It’s amazing, isn’t it?…” she breathed. “Despite the chaos of the Calamity, life still thrived, and strove for a better tomorrow together.”

She turned back to Link, with a smile filled with gratitude and sincerity. “Thank you… Link.”

And that’s it for the story. I hope it’s OK! Also, I still don’t know how to draw towns and civilization stuff lol, so I hope the town looks OK enough! ^^; I kept trying to refine it, but it still ended up like this.

📣 UPDATE: Changed the glasses frame’s color to black; The new updated version is at my deviantART gallery, along with some other optional colors for Lena’s glasses as well. 📣 This is my half of an Art Trade with lenarratorexe666 ! He wanted a picture of his OC, Lena Ivy Gavin, who is a prosecutor, behind a prosecutor’s desk as she is writing in her diary, with a text dialogue underneath her that says: “Dear diary, today I have confirmed that Miss Norway has taken hard drugs, because she is not making an inkling of sense.”

Drawn without sketching, tracing, or blocking-in as usual, so hopefully nothing’s wrong! I tried drawing everything in an Ace Attorney style, and it was fun trying to draw the background, UI, dialogue box, and dialogue/the words to be Ace Attorney-like, too! I also picked all the colors myself, without using the Inkdrop tool, so I hope everything looks OK! ^^

Title: Art Trade - Lena Ivy Gavin the Prosecutor

This is an old fanart that I drew last time as thanks to everyone who had supported me in my Octopath Traveler fanarts. Back then, there wasn’t any color in this picture, and I had said that “I might color it in the future”, so though I actually never confirmed it the last time, I wanted to do just that, to like, keep my word, because I would like to try always keeping my word (but please note that I’m not sure if I could always keep my word! >_<💦 I’m just trying not to break any of my words; I most probably can’t keep this up forever, lol 😅).

So here it is, the colored version! I tried to color it in a style like Octopath! :D Therion’s shoe at the back (the one behind his other leg) feels kinda hard to tell that it’s behind, lol. But I hope everything looks OK!

Title: Forest Friends

I’m happy with how the Flareon turned out, especially since it’s my first time trying to properly draw a Flareon! ^^ When I say “properly” I meant because the other times (only 1 or 2 times, can’t remember) I only did quick doodle/scrawls of Flareon, without color.

Also happy because I drew Flareon from memory (but I drew both Pokémon from memory though). And it’s my first time drawing a Kanto Ninetales!

I had originally wanted to paint a volcano erupting in the background 🌋, for the fiery passion from their kiss, but in the end I painted the sun instead, to highlight their kiss. ☀️🌆

It was fun trying to paint something new, since normally I don’t tend to paint hot places (e.g. volcanos and the like.) I’m happy with how the background turned out, but it’s a pity the floor’s texture got covered by the Pokemon’s shadows in the end. :XD:

I drew this because EeveeandVulpix2000 from deviantART had requested a picture of Flareon and Kanto Ninetales kissing, in a style like my old fanart; “REQ - Mudkip and Skitty Kissing - PMD”. He had also requested that the Ninetales have 3 eyelashes, and red lipstick, which I will give him said version in a DM.

Dragonspine Part 2

Part two of my old Dragonspine comic that featured Amber; This time it’s Furina who has wandered into Dragonspine! Inspired by when I was doing a Daily Commission with BlueAuraDog when one of the Salon Solitaire Troupe (I’m not sure who the culprit is) went and extinguished the only source of warmth in that area, back in 2023 🤣

Sorry if the outfit/Troupe’s details aren’t correct, I might have purposely put/colored wrong details at first from my OCD, thinking I’d fix it later, but then I forgot.

I had wanted to do another speeddraw for a while now, because I felt like my previous speeddraws/timed arts, especially in 2023, were so much slower than normal. So here’s a speeddraw of Furina from Genshin Impact! ^^

Lineart of Furina was drawn in 25 seconds or less. and that might be why the lineart wasn’t really drawn well, ahhhhh 😅 

I feel much slower in drawing linearts and etc this time, and like my drawings have gotten worse, ever since 2021 T^T Maybe my many severe chronic illnesses have taken a toll on me 😭

Sorry if her outfit is not accurate, I was drawing Furina from memory again (no reference again). 

Furina here looks like she could be saying “Objection!” or “Lights, camera, action!” or “Cut! That’s a wrap, everyone!”

The canvas size of this artwork is VERY LARGE, the largest I’ve ever worked on for now, so I’m not sure if it secretly affected the image’s looks in any way, due to different website’s differences. 🤔

I drew this for lenarratorexe666 from deviantART, who requested an artwork of his OCs, (from left to right) Gwenlynn Diantha, Rayna Noir, and Betty Sentir Dolores, just hanging out and watching Netflix on a couch with some snacks; Gwenlynn and Betty are chatting while Rayna is looking annoyed because she just wants to watch the movie! XD

I tried shading some wrinkles and creases in the clothes 👕, which I’ve never really tried before, and I drew this without sketching, blocking-in, or tracing as usual, so hopefully everything looks OK! >_<💦 The lineart (and maybe some other stuff too?) is not exactly polished as well, but I hope it looks OK enough! Please feel free to let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to edit!

Gift Art - Chiyu

A gift for michiyuwi from Instagram! I wasn’t sure what she might like for a picture, so I had asked her what she wanted me to draw. She told me she wanted a picture of her OC, Chiyu, so here it is! I wasn’t sure what the lower half of Chiyu’s outfit was because I couldn’t find a sample of Chiyu’s full outfit back then (and I didn’t want to bother michiyuwi for that), so I had decided to draw a pleated skirt, socks, and loafers (no references used). In the end, to be safe, I still had asked michiyuwi if this outfit was OK, and I’m glad to hear that it is! 😄

I hope it looks OK! Drawn without any sketching, tracing, blocking-in, or reference for the pose as usual, so hopefully nothing’s wrong! Also, the canvas size of this art is quite big, so I’m not sure if it secretly affected the image’s looks in any way due to different websites’ differences. 🤔
