Based on the Katie McGrath movie Leading Lady, except I made it gay. Lena and Kara are chaotic bisexuals who are just trying to find their way in the world. Kara is trying to keep her family's farm alive while being closed off to love after what happened with Mike while Lena is dating hot shot director James Olson and trying to become an actress. Lena winds up in South Africa in order to prepare for a role, and quickly finds herself swept up by the beauty of her surroundings. Can Kara finds a way to let her walls down? Will Lena ever fill the hole in her own heart? (Of course they do, but read on for lots of angst and a fun ride until they do).
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it. Many of the characters are a bit OOC from the show because I tried to stay as true and accurate to the movie as possible. I did have some fun with that though and I hope you get a laugh or two from it! :)
