Intertwined - Sol (Shadow Milk) x Silas (Pure Vanilla)

Chapter 1: Tingles

School; not much to it, is there? Sol’s had this opinion since elementary school, and it’s clear it won’t change any time soon. The same loud crowds of people rushing to their next classes with occasional gossip here and there. Perhaps he felt school was unnecessary because of how little he had to do to get a good grade. The only classes that he truly enjoyed were art and textile design, a.k.a. the classes where he had creative freedom. Other classes are spent in boredom, waiting for the horrendously sharp bell to ring.

Ah, right. He's in math class right now. Better act like he's doing the paper. Mr. Dark Cacao, whom everyone just calls Mr. Cacao, was in front of the blackboard teaching the class how to solve exercise one's equation. He usually leaves Sol alone and doesn't force him to solve anything for the class, because Mr. Cacao knows that he is very ahead of his peers.

Mr. Cacao's explanation came to an end, and the classroom got louder. People left and right were turning around in their chairs to talk to their friends. The big and muscular guy in front of Sol being no exception, unintentionally flipping his long, black, spiky hair as he turned to him.

“So, how’d you think you did?” McCoy asked with his gravelly voice, his mouth twisting into a smirk.

Sol stared back at him with his mismatched eyes, lowering his gaze shortly after to pick at the gunk under his nails. "On what? I wasn’t paying attention.”

"The math test, obviously." His eyes rolled lazily in annoyance.

"So that's what you mean!" Sol enthusiastically replied, his face plastered with a wide grin, eyes looking up for a split second. "Dunno, didn't study for it."

"What?" The bigger one was astonished. "You're telling me the school year's started and you didn't study for the first math test!?"

His voice became more whimsical. "Yes. Are you deaf or something?" Sol teased his classmate, his hands coming together at the side of his face and tilting his head, still smiling.

McCoy's bushy brows furrowed increasingly more with each passing second. For a bit, it looked like he was actually mad. His face softened into an amused expression.

"Well, well, well! Let's see who gets the better grade on this test then." His laugh bounced off the walls in the room, making a few people turn to look.

"The loser pays for the other's snack of their choice."

"Ha! Deal."

They waited and discussed things unrelated to math. Of course, Emmalyn came up. The already graduated ex-senior with impressively taken care of pink hair. Quite talented at catching people's attention, which is why she's taken the path to become a marketing expert. Sol and McCoy think she'll make millions with her ideas. She'd come by every now and then to say hi whenever she had time, but that was unfortunately quite rare. Caught up in their conversation, Sol hears a paper put down on someone's desk.

"You did okay."

Everyone's heads turned to where they heard Mr. Cacao's voice from.

The first math test was being distributed.

Suddenly, as if it were nothing, everyone straightens up in their seats, quickly dismissing their previous conversations with their friends. Now, only the sound of their math teacher's footsteps was to be heard. Sol realized he could even hear his own breathing.

Out of everyone in the room, he was probably the calmest. Yeah, he understood what the stress over tests was for, but he never got it himself. He imagines it must be overwhelming; he knows what that's like, at least.

One by one, tests are put on their respective owners' desks while getting a small comment from Mr. Cacao. It doesn't look like this test went too badly. Only some people are getting the "Something didn't work out" comment, even occasional good comments.

"Haha! Try to beat my grade, Sol," a proud voice said, turning to face him again. Next to his face were his hands holding up the test, a big circled 89 written in the top left corner. "Well done, Coy. Actually quite unexpected from you," Sol giggled.

"You don't get to me that easily anymore, twink." McCoy spat back, lightly pushing on his shoulder while laughing.

"Sol, full marks. Good job."

Absolute silence in the room for the second time. He grabs the paper and quickly puts it away in his bag. Mr. Cacao keeps distributing the papers.

McCoy's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. It looked like his eyes were about to pop out in shock.

"Dude, I've gotten full marks in math since elementary. Are you still not used to this?" Sol chuckled, not too surprised by McCoy's reaction, though. You learn a thing or two about someone when you've known them since first grade.

"But I was confident I would beat you this time! Especially since we got a new set of teachers this year," he argued.

"Coy, you still did really well. You'll be fine."

McCoy puffs his chest up and raises his hands up in a sort of victory pose.

"Next time, I'll beat you!"

"Kay, okay, let's go get my well-won chips now."

They both got up from their seats, McCoy kicking his chair in and bending over to get his wallet from his backpack. A sigh leaves his mouth as he hands Sol the cash, and they head towards the classroom’s exit. Hand on his shoulder bag’s strap, happily stepping foot out of the wretched math classroom.

A hand is placed on his shoulder before he gets to leave.

Sol turns around to see a blond with a pair of milky, mismatched eyes. His hair is no longer than collarbone length with long curtain bangs that go outwards. As did everyone, he had the school uniform’s blouse on, the only actually mandated piece of clothing for the school's dress code. Unlike them, though, he had a tucked-in sweater vest on as well, paired with slightly baggy light blue jeans. His rectangular glasses sat low on his nose, reflecting the light from the classroom.

“Apologies for stopping you, but do you happen to be the one who got a 100 on the test?” He asked, his light lashes swaying.

Sol feels like he’s paying too much attention to how this guy looks. Does it seriously matter that his pants fit him perfectly, his vest is evenly tucked all around, and his hair smells really good? How does one get their hair to smell like vanilla? is a better question, in his opinion.

“Wait, I don’t think we’ve spoken before,” the blond added after realizing there was an awkward silence for a bit. “My name is Silas, last name Pure Vanilla. I believe I know your name already, but I wanted to ask anyway.” A smile on his soft lips. Soft...

“I’m Sol, what do you need?”

“I was wondering if you could help me out in math. I know it’s a lot to ask for, but—“

“Hmmmmm,” Sol hummed, his voice pitching up at the end. “Why should I help you? You seem to be a pretty good student already.” He posed, trying not to show any signs of nervousness.

“It’s always good to strive for better, don’t you think"?” he chuckled lightly. "Other than that, I must admit that I do admire how well you work in school." Silas' eyes looked to the side, a bit embarrassed with that confession of his. "So, if you're free some time, I'd be more than happy if I could be taught a thing or two by you."

"I'll consider it."

Silas grabs a piece of paper from his pocket and places it in Sol's free one. His skin felt tingly in contact with the blond's. Silas grabbed a felt pen and started writing on the small paper. "Here's my number if you do agree to it. Thank you again."

Sol just stood there. On the outside he looked perfectly calm, but his internal screaming was close to becoming external. The tingling his hand had felt prior slowly left him, longing for more of the touch. Silas simply smiled and walked past him to go through the door.

No more vanilla scent in the room.

"Uhm, are you going to come, or do you not want your chips anymore?"

Back on track to get the chips, McCoy started going on a rant about how Ain is annoying him again. Sol didn't really pay attention, giving him nods and an "Uh huh?" every now and then to stay polite to his roommate. Every now and then he'd hold the scrap piece of paper Silas had given him up to his face. Why is texting a boy making him this nervous? He'll just add the number to his WhatsApp later in his dorm, no big deal at all. It's literally typing numbers into an app and saving it as a contact. Was it always this nerve-wracking?

After getting the chips, they exited the schoolhouse and headed to the other side of the campus, where the housing was. A big building with enough rooms for all the students to share a room in pairs. Sol was lucky enough to have had the freedom of choosing who he wanted to pair up with.

McCoy unlocked the door to their room, walking in and throwing his bag across, it hitting the space between the window and the floor. Sol instinctively went to half-close the window blinds; a bright room was the last thing he needed after a long, surprisingly eventful school day.

He put the paper from Silas on his bedside table.

Tomorrow's mission: successfully text the blond guy.

Before Us - Kanade x Mafuyu

Chapter 15: Where It Started (final chapter)

note: Copy and pasting this from my wattpad. This was the first fanfiction I ever wrote (started 2022 or so). I know it's bad, you do not need to remind me. I'm posting this here because I want my writing backed up on as many platforms as possible. I write better now, I can assure you of that. Everything in brackets and bold is me commenting on my own shit writing lol.

Mafuyu

It's been about a month since I started living with Kanade. I've been going to school normally again, since our vacation ended. Surprisingly, I haven't heard anything from my parents yet, I guess what I texted my mom was enough for her to leave me alone.

-WhatsApp-

Hi mom, I'm sorry for leaving so early in the morning. I wanted to study with a friend as soon as possible, since we have the same subject in maths read at 8:12am

I guess she's okay with it?

Now I wake up every morning with her next to me. Always needing to nudge her to get her up, but I don't mind. The love and cuddles I get are worth it.

Being without my mother constantly judging me was freeing. No longer feeling the pressure of always acing a test. I still want to do good in school, in case I change my mind, but I am almost 100% sure that music is what I want to do.

Anyway, school hasn't really been asking about my parents? I don't know, it's confusing. I thought they would have called the authorities by now, but they really don't... care?

If they don't then I don't either.

It was the weekend, so naturally Ena and Mizuki suggested we go out to and do something all together. Kanade and I both agreed to go.

Enanan: so what do you guys think about going to that restaurant we went to a while ago again?

Amia: Yeah! Ena and I thought it would be a good idea to have fun together It's been a while :3

K: of course i don't mind and I don't think Yuki does either

Yuki: I don't, it sounds fun!

And so it was set, we were all going back to the restaurant that kick started two different relationships, kind of.

If my parents hadn't gone out that weekend and gave me an excuse to invite my friends over, K and I would have never kissed. Which is weird to think about now...

Anyway I thought I'd surprise Kanade with the black dress she kept staring at that day, she seemed to be very fond of it. I don't think she knows that I brought it with me when I ran away. Luckily, I had some extra space in my bag for it, that's pretty much the only reason I brought it with me, if you don't count loving your girlfriend.

I rummaged through my bag to find the dress. It lay at the very bottom, where I had previously put it many days ago.

I lay it out flat on our bed.

I flattened it out with my hands, trying to make it not look as crinkled as it was. It looked a bit better after I tried to flatten it out back into shape.

I took a deep breath in to call Kanade, who was in the main room.

"Kanade!" I exclaimed.

I hear footsteps approaching the bedroom, getting faster and faster.

Kanade swings the door open.

"Yes Yuki? What's the matter?"

I turned around holding the black dress up to my chest.

"You brought it with you?" She gasped, her jaw open.

"I did~ I had some extra space in the bag so why no-"

K wrapped her arms around me, squeezing me tighter and tighter.

"You brought it... because I like it?" She looked up at me.

"Yeah! I did..."

"You're amazing"

"Thank you. But also we have 5 minutes to get ready so-"

And so we got dressed and ready as fast as possible.

Kanade

Hand in hand, we were on our way to the ramen place. Mafuyu's warm hands holding mine, her thumb rubbing the top of my hand.

A lot of things have changed since we went to that restaurant.

"Soooo what are you going to order?" Yuki smiled at me, waiting for a response.

"That's kind of random of you to say, but sure. I'm gonna get the Shio Ramen. Why do you wanna know anyway?"

"I'm trying to win a bet with Ena, don't worry."

"Oh, did you win?"

"Yup, thank youuu~", she squeezed my hand a little tighter.

I laughed, Mafuyu could be more herself now. Without her mom, she's more like who she really is.

"Mafuyu, you know yo-" My foot stepped on a small rock, causing me to slip backwards. I watched Mafuyu's eyes get bigger, and her react quickly. Her arms stretched out behind me, ready for me to land.

"You good??" She asked worryingly after I landed in her arms.

"Y-yeah I'm good, thanks Yuki", I said as I got back to my feet.

"Come on then, let's keep going", she said as she grabbed my hand, but this time she intertwined her fingers in between mine.

"Hello there fellow gays, how do you do?" A familiar bright voice said, it was Mizuki. Her and Ena were arm in arm, dressed in the same outfits that they had worn the first time that they were at this restaurant.

"Very funny Amia", I sarcastically said. "But anyway, you guys look great, should we go in and find a table?"

They all agreed and we headed in to find a table for four.

"Ah ah Miki! I see one!" Ena exclaimed, tugging on her partner's sleeve while pointing in the direction of the empty table. Mizuki's head turned in the direction where Ena was pointing at.

"Okay guys, let's get ready to order!"

And so we did. Everyone ordered their favorite's along with 2 side dishes to share. Everyone admired the hot steamy food that was eventually placed in front of us, everyone in awe in how much the restaurant improved. Ena quickly snapped a picture with her phone.

"Holy crap, this looks amazing," Mizuki blurted out, her eyes glued on her meal.

We all nodded in agreement and dug in.

"Ahh it's so good!" Ena squealed with excitement. "Did they get a new chef? New recipe? New-"

"We don't know Ena", Mizuki cut her off, lightly nudging her with her elbow, chuckling.

"I don't think there's much of a difference in the noodles, the soup is slightly saltier and they've added more spices to it", Mafuyu observed.

"How do you remember so much about the taste, Mafuyu?" I asked in shock.

"Cooking classes do you good."

"I see"

We ate slowly, savoring every bite. I opened my mouth wide, ready to shove a lot of good tasty noodles into my mouth. Then I suddenly felt a leg lean against mine under the table. Mafuyu's thigh, to be exact. I froze, as I felt her hand then slide over to my thigh, her thumb rubbing it.

My ramen noodles dangling in front of my mouth as my face turned pink. Mafuyu continued to eat normally with one hand, as if nothing had been happening under the table. I tried to focus on eating but then heard Ena giggling. I was too focused on not exploding to care at this point.

"Is everyone else done?" Ena asked, looking around the table. I quickly slurped the last bit of noodles in my bowl and nodded. "'Kay, Kanade and I will go pay now, cya", she quickly winked at Mizuki and took my arm and dragged me to the reception of the restaurant.

"Wha- uh see you Yuki-" I blurted out before Ena and I were out of sight. Mizuki just smirked as I was forced away from my girlfriend.

"We're here but I'm pretty sure you know why I brought you with me", the short haired brunette chuckled.

"No I actually don't", I replied, confused.

"You don't remember? A few months ago?"

Oh, that. When Ena and Mizuki split us up to convince us to get together with each other... and get them together. How do I know this? Mafuyu told me about it, so I told her about it too. Turns out both Ena AND Mizuki had a crush on each other at the time too. Not very surprising but it's interesting.

"Yeah what about it?"

"I have never seen Mafuyu this comfortable, K" she turned around to give her card to the receptionist. "She looks... free"

"She really does"

"I'm proud of you Kanade, even if it was mostly Mafuyu's efforts, you helped her a lot"

"Thanks Ena"

"Also, I tricked you into letting me pay, thank me later."

"HEY NOT COOL!!" I exclaimed.

We playfully fought over it a bit, I thanked her for paying in the end.

"Hey guys!" Mizuki shouted as we appraoched the table. "You paid?"

"Yup, we can go now" I told them.

I walked towards Mafuyu, ready to walk alongside her and hold her hand. We walked out of the restaurant hand in hand alongside Mizuki and Ena, who seemed to be discussing about something.

"Sooooo" I asked, looking over to my side. "Did Mizuki also-"

"Yeah, if you're also talking about the plan that they had made on the sleepover", she sighed. "It feels like that was so long ago"

"I know, I'm just glad that you're with me now" I smiled.

"Don't be so cheesy, let's go say goodbye to them now." She tugged me towards Mizuki and Ena. They were in what seemed to be an embrace, kissing each other in front of the entrance of the restaurant. I opened my mouth to let them know that they were outside, and immediately my mouth was covered by Mafuyu's hand. I glanced over at her, questioning why she did what she did.

"If that were us, you wouldn't want anyone interrupting, would you?" She whispered into my ear as I felt her breath against my cheek. I nodded in agreement. We waited for Mizuki and Ena to pull away from each other, when they did they jumped up in shock.

"Uhhmm how long have you guys been standing there?" Ena said, embarrassed. Mafuyu's hand still over my mouth and her chin on the top of my head, I couldn't exactly respond.

"Not for long don't worry." Which is a complete LIE. We were standing there for at least 5 minutes while they were looking into each other's eyes and kissing, over and over and over again. Not like I can judge them much anyway...

"Sorry we thought you guys were still inside", Mizuki scratched the back of their head. "Ena and I should probably head back now, wouldn't want to miss her parents' curfew."

"We won't keep you guys waiting then", I said as my girlfriend finally removed her hand from my mouth. "It was nice catching up."

"It was, we'll see you around at 25:00" Ena exclaimed.

"See you guys", Mafuyu chuckled. We all turned around in opposite directions and headed back home, or in Mizuki's case, to a sleepover.

We arrived home and went straight to bed after brushing our teeth and changing. We cuddled while being on our phones. I looked up from my phone. "Mafuyu?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm really glad you're with me now, I can't really say it in words but, I'm just really glad."

"I'm happy too, Kanade."

We hugged it out and went to bed. It took some time for things to work out, but they really did work out well. Mizuki and Ena also worked things out. So many things happened in these past months, and I'm glad they did.

Before Us - Kanade x Mafuyu

Chapter 14: Your Touch

Mafuyu

I double checked my bag of things to make sure I had everything I needed. I honestly have no idea how I'm going to take this huge keyboard with me... Anyway, I think it's about time to text Kanade to tell her that I'm ready to go.

Yuki: Hey K, I'm ready to go.

K: ok got it

Yuki: See you at the entrance of your place?

K: yup

Yuki: Okay see you

K: bye xx

Xx? What did that mean? I should google it.

one googling session later

Did she just, send me virtual kisses? I couldn't help but blush, my lips could subtly feel the feeling I would get when she's kiss me. Where did she learn to do that?

I shouldn't get carried away, I need to get to her place as fast as possible before I get caught.

I grabbed my bag that had my keyboard sticking out of it and started started to tip-toe out of my room to the front door. I made sure that no one was awake before reaching my hand out to the metal door handle. I unlocked the door and pressed down on the door handle and pushed the door open

I looked back at my living room, wondering if this really is the last time that I will be in it.

Wondering, if this was the right thing to do.

What am I thinking? Of course it is! I'll get to live with Kanade and still go to school and do the regular. I wouldn't have to worry so much about parents teacher meetings anymore.

My feet stepped out of the door, one after another. I quietly closed the door, shutting it very carefully. My shoes making a noise with every step, echoing in the building.

Eventually, I was on the groundfloor, leaving the building. It was chilly outside, luckily I had brought my jacket with me.

Actually, how am I even going to convince my parents to

1. let me live at Kanade's house 2. still go to parent teacher meetings

Because realistically, I need their legal permission to do all of those things.

But that's a problem for future me.

Right now, I'm craving cuddles and kisses, that is where my priorities lie.

I was at the last street that leads up to K's place. Excitement and desire rising in me.

I turn around the corner of the street. I see Kanade waving to me in front of her place.

I pick up my speed, slowly turning my walk into a run.

My heart pounded faster and faster.

Getting closer and closer, I opened my arms invitingly, hoping she'd understand that I wanted a hug.

She got my message, getting ready for me to crash into her.

I wrapped my arms around her, squeezing her between my arms.

"I missed you..." I mumbled into her ear

"Dude, we literally saw each other less than 24 hours ago... but me too", she rested her head on my chest.

I pulled away from the hug. I placed my hand on her chin and raised her head.

"Can I?" I asked her, making sure it was okay with her.

"Of course"

I leaned into her face as and kissed her. Her soft warm lips touching mine. She got on the tip of her toes to get closer to my height.

She pulled away from the kiss and gave me one back in return.

It's still the same feeling as when we first kissed.

We went back in for another kiss. The air got hotter. She pulled away with her tongue sticking out and her mouth open.

"Uhh let's maybe not do this outside, in public", she blushed

"Awh you're no fun" I frowned teasing her, wiping the edge of my mouth with my sleeve.

"You know we can uhm, just go upstairs and continue there." Kanade looked at me then looked away and blushed.

"I wouldn't mind that at all."

She grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs to her apartment. I smiled as I knew, I found the one.

We entered her apartment.

Kanade

There is no way me a few weeks ago would believe me if I told her that she would date the girl she was trying to save with music. I can't believe how much of a fool I made of myself outside though.

I did like it, a lot even. (🤯)

After I had locked the door, Mafuyu dropped her bag on the side of the room.

We both turned around and stood there, looking into each other's eyes.

"You wanna?" She asked, slowly advancing towards me. (No, still not smut okay I'm not evil)

"I uh- uhh I" I stuttered. My answer was yes obviously, but Mafuyu being so dominant was... new?

I mean I like it so I'm not complaining.

"Come on, use your words, K". She smiled at me.

I can't stop blushing. I'm pretty sure I'm all pink in the face right now.

"Yeah uh yes I mean uhm"

"Someone's flustered", she chuckled.

(! If you don't like a detailed description of making out please skip until you see a warning like this again. Detailed as in saliva and crap idk !)

She came up close to me and placed her hand on my chin. Our faces leaned closer and closer together. But just before our lips could touch, she pulled away teasingly.

Next thing I felt was her hands on my shoulders, lightly pushing me back onto my wall.

She raised her knee and put it between my thighs.

"Last chance to say no", she looked at me while she applied some chapstick to her lips.

I'm sweating at this point. That was really hot

"I haven't changed my mind" I told her.

"Okay then~"

Keeping her knee the way it was between my thighs, she leaned in and pushed her lips against mine.

I cupped her face with my hands, feeling her warm soft cheeks.

We pulled away from the kiss to gasp for air, a string of saliva keeping us connected.

As we went in for another, she led me with her arms to my bed. She lightly pushed me onto my bed. I lay there, watching her tower over me. Tucking her dark purple hair behind her ear, smiling at me.

"Just let me know if I go too far. Or if you want me to do something differently."

I nodded.

Soon enough she was on top of me. On her hands and knees. Mafuyu kissed my jawline. Did she know I liked it there? I couldn't help but groan.

I put my hands around her waist and ran them up and down her body as she went on.

The gasps of air we took between kisses was heart-stopping. All of my worries being forgotten as I melted into her lips, moaning.

I pulled away, panting for air.

"I love you, Mafuyu."

Yuki kissed my forehead.

"I love you too, Kanade."

We continued like that for maybe another 10 minutes or so.

(! you're good now, just kisses and hugs like before but without the saliva and other crap !)

What? Our time apart may have not been that long I guess, but still! (what did I say y'all, the lesbian time)

I lay on Yuki's chest, while I scrolled on pinterest, trying to stay up.

I wasn't going to admit it but, Mafuyu has a really big chest... I hope she doesn't notice me staring sometimes.

"K, you sure you don't want to at least sleep a bit more? It's 5am, you could probably get a good 2-3 hours of sleep", she looked down at me with a worried expression.

"I'll be fine, I've stayed up for long before. Don't worry."

"I will worry, you know I can tell when you haven't slept right?"

"Yeah no shit Sherlock"

"Is that an attitude I hear?" She raised her eyebrow, looking at me as if she were about to fight me.

"Yes, that is an attitude" I played around.

"You have made the wrong decision."

"Huh"

She turned me and her around so that she was on top again. On her hands and knees.

"You will go to sleep. Now."

Wow she really did become dominant. Guess I've lost my role as the top here...

"What if I don't wanna?"

My girlfriend grabbed my bed pillow and threw it on my face.

"And that is what you get, will you sleep now?"

"Nope"

"I'll tickle you then!"

"Wait WHA-"

She got her hands under my armpits and started wiggling them around.

"HAHAHA- YUKI- PLEASE AHAH STOP" I uncontrollably laughed.

"Then go sleep!"

"NEVER!"

"I WON'T STOP THEN!"

She continued tickling me under my armpit and moved one hand to my stomach area. Her hand slipped under my shirt and started tickling my belly too.

I couldn't stop laughing.

"OKAY OKAY YOU WIN"

"No not yet, you have to ask for it specifically and call me ma'am."

"AHAH WHAT?? WHO TOOK MY MAFUYY AWAY AND REPLACED HER WITH-"

"Look it's either that or you get tickled forever."

I sighed, was I really going to submit this easily to my girlfriend?

Hell yeah dude.

"I will go to sleep, can you please stop... ma'am?"

"Good girl, let's go sleep now."

Good Girl ... DID SHE JUST CALL ME A GOOD GIRL??

My face was all pink now, my jaw dropping. If it weren't anatomically connected to my head, it would have fallen out of my head.

"I see you like that nickname, I'll use it more often then", she smirked.

"Okay you win, again. But can I at least have a good night kiss?" I asked.

"Of course, anything for my good girl."

We first lay down next to each other on our backs in my bed.

We stared at each other, once again. Getting lost in the other's eyes.

Her eyes were such a deep purple, it felt like I could swim in them.

"You're really pretty" I blurted out without thinking about it twice.

"We should be asleep by now, Kanade", she smiled. "But thank you."

"Wait, I know I didn't really ask you but we are dating now, right? If it's okay with you?"

"Kanade, are you kidding me."

"HUH?" I panicked. "SORRY I-"

"No no silly, I was being sarcastic. Of course I'm okay with it"

"Phew, I thought I just made a big mistake."

"Of course not..." she placed her hand on my cheek, her thumb rubbing it. She came closer to my face, a centimeter between us. Nothing but the hot air separating us. She closed her eyes and her lips softened.

Our lips touched and we kissed. I slightly tilted my head to get a better angle. She pulled away.

"Good night, sleep well", she smiled.

"Can't we cuddle to sleep?" I frowned.

"We can" she pulled me down so I was at chest level.

I rested my head on her chest, drifting off to sleep.

"Good night" I mumbled, half awake.

"Sleep well" she said, holding me tighter.

Falling asleep on your girlfriends chest is amazing, 10/10 would recommend.

Before Us - Kanade x Mafuyu

Chapter 13: Home is Where You Are.

Kanade

Mafuyu can't go back to her house. She can't.

I won't let her.

"Mafuyu, are you seriously thinking about going back home." I asked her as we arrived back at my house.

"What are you talking about?" she mumbled. "Home is where you are, Kanade." she placed her hands around my waist and smiled.

At this point I thought I was watching a custom made thirst trap for me.

"I'm assuming you mean my place", she added. "I have to go back, K."

"But you can't"

"And why not?"

"Because I won't let you", I sank in her arms. "You'll just get hurt again, like the other day."

"If I don't it'll just get worse. I can always run away to your place when I want to. I know how to as well." she assured me. "I'll be fine, don't worry".

I looked up at her and took her word for it. If she needed anything, she would come to me.

She got her stuff and started heading towards the main door. I thought she would look more hesitant with leaving, but she seemed very sure in her decision. I trust her, but, a part of me is still petrified by the thought of her going back to her house. Mafuyu's mom better stay away from me, because if I had the chance to I would punch her (your arms are strong enough to PUNCH?!?)

"I'll get going then...", she looked my way and smiled. Her hand slowly opened the door, but before she left I just HAD to.

"Wait Mafuyu!" I grabbed her other wrist that wasn't holding onto the doorknob. I placed my hand on her face and got on the tip of my toes. I leaned in and gave her a kiss.

"Hope you didn't think I'd let you go without a kiss." I chuckled.

Soon Mafuyu's face was a soft pink and she smiled. We exchanged some soft looks at each other before she went out the door.

Now she wasn't laying down in my bed, sick anymore.

She wasn't sitting on my bed either.

She wasn't standing on my doorstep.

After having Mafuyu next to me for almost two days (two months in lesbian time), it's outlandish for me not seeing her in my apartment.

I got really used to her living with me...

Mafuyu

I walked down the stairs of the apartment building.

Could I have stayed at Kanade's place? Yes but no.

Okay voice in my head, that was uhm, very random of you... I shake my head and start focusing on getting back home. I wonder what my mom will say. I wonder what my dad will do. What am I even saying? Of course my mom is going to yell and my dad is going to probably hit me.

And soon enough I see the door to my house. I guess this is it.

Because I don't have the house key with me I rang the doorbell. I heard my mom's soft voice: "hello? who is it?" through the little speaker. "Hi mom, it's me, Mafuyu." I got no response back from her, only the door buzzing as she pressed the unlock button. My heart was pumping, but not out of love, this time it was out of fear. I went up the staircase until I saw the front door of my place with the door open. Standing there was my mother with her arms crossed and putting on an unpleasant face. Soon enough she plastered a fake worried face to pretend she cares.

"Mafuyu!", she walked up to me quickly and gave me a a tight hug. "Where have you been? We've been worried sick about you dear." She gave me that look. The "Why did you do this Mafuyu I care so so much about you". Pretty sure the biggest thing she cares about in my is the money i'll make in the future.

"Mafuyu, answer me." My mother started getting very serious with me and dropped her bullshit of an act. "I just went out to sleep over at a friends house, okay?" I responded. She looked at me with a disgusted look.

"Mafuyu dear, you can't just run away to party with your friends." She crossed her arms again and her eyebrows pushed down onto her eyes. "You know I only want what's best for you." Ugh, here we go again. "I'm sorry but I don't really like these uh, "musician" friends of yours.." If I could do the skull emoji in real life right now, I would. "They should really listen to their parents more and choose a better career path." She told me insistently.

Honestly, I'm done with her stupid shit. I had to keep being nice to her while she got to bash me with her ridiculous excuses. "But I just want whats best for you" oh my god just"

"Shut up", I let my thoughts slip out of my mouth. "I'm sorry, what did you say dear?" There's no turning back now.

"I said shut up." I replied. "I'm tired of you attacking my friends and their hobbies for no good reason. I'm also tired of you attacking me for having fun and not studying for once."

My mother gasped and took a step back. "Honey!" She shouted. "Get over here and you Mafuyu, come inside, now." I entered my house as she leaded me to the dining table, where we would "discuss" this oh so horrible situation. I was surprised that she hadn't yelled at me yet. I sat right across my father, he kept trying to catch my gaze. Instead of looking away I stared at him as if I was trying to read his thoughts, I didn't stop until he looked away.

"Okay Mafuyu, look dear we-" My mother started talking, about all the fake care she oh so desperately wants to give me. Her words turned into a blur and all I was thinking about was getting out of my house.

"Do you understand?" She asked me.

"Yep I sure do understand, that you really really care about me." I responded. "I was being sarcastic, if you couldn't tell", I added. Rage filled her eyes yet she still stayed calm. "And why do you think that?"

"Because you never realized that your husband physically abuses me when he gets drunk", I said.

Immediately her face wrinkled into an annoyed expression.

"Mafuyu, we both know that that's in your head, your Father would never do that to you", she crossed her arms yet again.

"I don't remember kicking you either, Mafuyu", he added.

Bingo, jackpot or bullseye or whatever the hell you say in these moments.

"How do you know you kicked me? I didn't specify that, father."

Immediately, his lying face was ripped off of his face like a bandaid and a face of regret is present. "I can give you more proof that he did, in fact hit, punch and kick me", I looked at my mother. "I'll remind you that I can leave this house soon and that I can always walk to the police station and tell them what you're doing to me. Or at least what my father's doing", I told them.

They both looked at each other, speechless. The weight on my shoulders that I had been carrying with me for so long is getting lighter, but I'm ready to make it gone for good. But then again, I want them to think I'll stay so that I have a chance to run away.

"Go to your room."

"Sure."

I walked to my room as I left the dining table where my now very angry parents were seated. I entered my room. I guess I should start packing a bag

I grabbed a big bag and started packing it with my necessities. I basically emptied the bag I had from the party and dumped everything into the new bag. While doing so I realized that I hadn't brushed my teeth in the last 24 hours (ew). So I went to the bathroom to clean myself up.

- time skip -

I have everything I need, I'm all cleaned up and now all I have to do is wait for a time to escape now.

"Dear it's time for dinner!" My mother shouted from the kitchen. It was the time for a VERY uncomfortable dinner. By the way, my mother didn't bother giving me lunch, so I'm basically starving right now.

I walked out of my room with my damp hair, because it didn't dry completely from the shower I took yet. I sat down in my chair at the table, again, my dad was sitting right across me.

"I didn't want to take too much time making this meal since my daughter doesn't appreciate me", she gave me an ugly look then continued talking. "So I just got takeout, enjoy!" "Thanks."

I grabbed my fork and dug it into the food on my plate. It tasted quite good, better than some of the food my mother makes.

I tried finishing the food as quickly as possible before my mother tried to shove more of her crap into my brain.

"Okay I'm done now, thanks", I told my mother.

I walked back to my room as I realized, it would never be the same between my parents and I. But I don't mind that.

Anyway, I think it's time for me to go.

Chapter 12: Warmth

Whose arm is this? It's so warm, I don't want it to go away. Maybe should I turn around and see who it is. My eyelids, they're so heavy I think I'm falling asleep... (L bozo can't stay up late)

(around morning time)

Woah, is it 10am right now or am I that sleepy? I slowly open my eyes, about to reach out to grab my phone and check what time it is. Instead I am woken up by Mafuyu's face... again. Unlike some people, I will not make the same mistake twice.

Oh but I could just, stay here, in Mafuyu's arms until I die.

NO EW THATS GROSS AND GAY I NEED TO TOUGHEN UP

Okay okay voice inside my head, I'll just turn around and grab my phone. I turn around and-

"WONDAHOY!!!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" I screamed. At this point everyone had woken up, even the deep deep sleepers who are almost impossible to wake up. Except for Rui because of course he has noise cancelling headphones too.

"What. Was. That. Kanade." Ena complained removing her sleeping mask. "Yeah dude you woke everyone up." Mizuki rubbed her eyes.

"Well it's because Emu SCREAMED wonderhoy in my face!" I argued.

"IM SORRY YOISAKI SAN!!" Emu apologised. "I JUST WANTED TO MAKE YOU SMILE!" She started crying. She couldn't stop apologizing. Almost immediately Nene started hugging her, then stared at me as if this was all my fault. Which I don't think it was but that doesn't matter right now. Because I must've woken up Maf-

"Can we just continue being half awake?" Mafuyu mumbled, cuddling up closer to me. I swear to god I could see Ena smirking so hard when Mafuyu did that.

And so everyone continued being on their phones, cuddling with the person next to them and/or something else. I was gladly wrapping my arms around Mafuyu while scrolling on my phone. I could most definetly die at peace this way.

Mafuyu

How will I tell mom about this...

I love a girl a lot and now I'm doomed because that means I have to eventually accept that I'm not straight. The longer I let myself collapse into Kanade's arms, the more I am sure that I'm a lesbian. Her hair smells unsurprisingly good. Smells a bit like cup noodles, but it reminds me of her so it's still a good smell. I can hear her fingers swiping up on her phone screen. I wonder what she's looking at.

I hear some sly footsteps, one- no, two people walking around. I think someone left the SEKAI...

I can't be bothered to check who it is.

Mizuki

Ena and I are sneaking out to get breakfast for everyone. I hope no one heard us, we we're trying really hard not to distract anyone. She grabbed my hand and lead me out of her home and into a nearby convenience store.

"WOAH MIKI LOOK!!" Ena pointed to the refrigerated section. "THEY HAVE ONIGIRI!" she squealed. "Woahh it looks really good!" I responded to her. "Don't worry I will get you one." I grabbed one and put it into the shopping bag. "AWWW THANK YOU!!!" She hugged me. "Anything for youuu" I laughed.

We continued shopping, we decided to get some fruits, jam and pastries. You know, a Iittle something for everyone. Except for Rui because he hides everything in the world up his ass /j.

We walked back to my place to get back to the SEKAI and bring our friends breakfast. I stepped into my room, got a hold of Ena's hand and clicked on the file for the school SEKAI. And just like that we are in school SEKAI.

"Guys we got breakfast!!" I exclaimed.

"EEEEEEK BREAKFAST! NENE THERE'S BREAKFAST!!" Emu squealed to Nene. "Yes yes I heard." She replied.

Kanade

I guess it's breakfast time now. Man I don't think I can get myself to wake Mafuyu up. I don't think I can get myself out of this position either. But then again I'm hungry and I also want Mafuyu to eat too so it is my duty.

"Hi Mafuyu" I whispered. "It's time to wake up", I rubbed her back in circles. She tucked herself even more instead of waking up. "I don't wanna..", she mumbled. Ena started smirking at me again, I swear she is so dead once she gets all cuddly with Mizuki.

"C'mon Mafuyu", I pushed her a little bit away from me so that I could see her face. "We need to have some breakfast man, especially you". I got up helping her up by holding her hand. As we walked over to see what there was for breakfast her eyes swayed from how tired she was. You can't blame the girl, she just woke up.

"Okay everyone! Attention please!!", Ena announced. "Please grab the food you want but don't over do it obviously. You can take everything except for..", she searched around the table for it. "Aha found it!" she grabbed the only onigiri on the table. "Hey why does she get to have an onigiri??", Rui complained. "Rui, respectfully, shut up." Mizuki shot back at him.

Everyone grabbed what they wanted to eat. I grabbed a banana, I made sure I got the freshest looking one. Along with that I took a croissant (QUASO). Mafuyu only took two apples. It was quite interesting to me, why she only took two apples. Why do I sound like an old british man holy crap I will never talk like that again.

"You must really like apples Mafuyu." I noted. "Yeah I do, they're really good", she peeped. She was almost immediately in a better mood. We peacefully ate together.

"Kanade" She said. "can I have a bite of your croissant?"

"Of course Yuki!" I answered. I held the croissant in front of her mouth for her to bite. Her teeth sank in the buttery croissant and bit a piece out.

"Oooo Kanade whatcha doingggg", Ena giggled with Mizuki. I couldn't be bothered anymore honestly. They tease me as if they were the straightest people alive. Which uhm, no. they aren't that at all.

(later)

"Well guys I think everything looks cleaned up now so feel free to leave. Thank you all for coming to the party, it was a blast being with all of you!" Mizuki announced. I packed my things and left with Mafuyu.

Chapter 11: 7 Minutes in Heaven... kinda

Kanade

"Okay first of all! Does anyone have the guts to go WITHOUT being forced to?" Mizuki asked. Rui was stretching his arm up as far as he could, I think he was even standing up on his knees at some point. Mizuki pretended to not see Rui (as usual). "hmmm I don't see any hands up"

"IM RIGHT HERE MIZUKI GOD DAMN IT!"

"Aww too bad no one raised their hand," Mizuki complained. "Guess we'll have to spin a bottle again!" Rui just stared at Mizuki, his eyes looked like they were going to burst out in flames any moment now. Ena got an empty bottle of uh... let's just say it was happy juice (no one knows where she gets it from). she carefully placed it in the middle of the circle that everyone was sitting in. There was only silence for a bit, there wasn't really a reason to this awkward silence. Not complaining though, it was good getting a moment of silence after a night full of action.

"Okay Rui..," Mizuki broke the silence. "Would you like to take someone voluntarily or spin the bottle?" Never ever, in the history of forever has Mizuki's voice sounded so forced. She's probably trying to be nice to Rui but that sounded very, yeah.

"AW THANKS MIZUKI!" Rui celebrated, going over to Mizuki to hug them, but Ena re-placed herself a bit more in front of Mizuki so he didn't have the chance to. He awkwardly sighed and went back to his spot.

"So?" Ena asked Rui.

"I'll takeeeee" he paused "Tsukasa!"

Wow, oh my god, what a shocker dude!! That was sarcastic, if you couldn't tell. Who did you think Rui was gonna take? Nene?! Emu?! Of course not. "BUT KEEP IT PG OR AT LEAST PG-13 RUI!" Mizuki shouted at Rui while he was walking away into the empty classroom. "yeah yeah got it Mizuki." I swear I could hear his eyes roll while he said that.

And they're back. A smile plastered on Rui's face and Tsukasa was holding onto his pinky finger. None of them said anything. Just silence. "Has Rui ever been this quiet before?" Ichika whispered to Saki. "I dunno, they're never this quiet when they're hanging out at my place." She replied.

Hmm I wonder what happened...

That was sarcastic, if you couldn't tell, again.

"Hey can I have a go?" A confident voice said. I looked who it was and it was the girl with the waist long black hair and loose star accessories. It was An, yeah An Shiraishi. I've only heard about her through Mizuki but I gotta say, she's got a really nice style. Also heard that she might be a lesbian? Not that I'm not one myself (I think you know what I mean) but I am slowly starting to think that everyone is some flavour of gay here. That sounds like I'm talking about ice cream flavours...

Let's get back to the point.

An ended up taking Kohane. Now I don't know if this was supposed to be obvious or not but a lot of people were smirking. I think I even heard Saki whispering "bingo!!". No joke though, I definitely heard a "KOHANE DAISUKII!!" from that empty classroom so I'm assuming that yes, this was destined to happen.

(...7 minutes later...)

They got out of the empty classroom and Kohane is beet red, I swear Ena could've made red paint out of how red her face was.

"Guys I'm feeling a bit tired, why don't we just hit the hay?" Emu chirped, her head falling onto Nene's lap. Nene got a bit startled at first but she left it afterwards. Rui stood up, all eyes on him, reached into his pocket, pulled out some hay and hit it.

"Okay now we just all gotta hit it." He jokingly said Where did he get that hay from and why exactly did he carry it around in his pocket?

50% of us actually laughed and the other 50% laughed very dryly, because yeah it's funny but what the fuck...

"Yeah come on, everyone please contact your parents if you can and tell them that you are staying over, if you want to of course." The pink haired co-host of the party said.

"Honami and I will go see if there are any sleeping bags somewhere around, or even pillows and blankets." Shiho hastily said. "You never know what you could find in the school SEKAI." And they were gone, trying to find stuff to let us sleep in.

"I'll probably call my mom and tell her I'm coming home." A soft voice mumbled.

as everyone saw

that it was Mafuyu who said that

No. She is not going to her devil of a mother, even if she doesn't see it. I won't let her. She won't be safe at home. After Ena, Mizuki and I had a silent collective though, at the same time we all responded to Mafuyu saying.

"NO."

What are we, monsters? of course me won't let her go back there, especially me.

"But-"

"NO."

"okay?." She sighed, adjusting her bangs out of her eyes. "why?"

"Can we not discuss this here Mafuyu?" I suggested to her. "Yeah, maybe you can discuss it with Kanade in the empty classroom." Mizuki added. I swear I saw a humongous smirk form on her face, which led to a small punch from Ena. "not now Miki!!" she whispered. I just stared at Mizuki in kind of disgust because that was some wicked timing. Like dude. What if Rui's personality is rubbing onto her? Nah, Ena would never let that happen.

"Hey guys! We're back and we found some pillows and blankets!" Shiho shouted.

"Excellent! Now let's all get into the sleeping mood and- GODAMMIT RUI KEEP IT PG!!"

"YES MA'AM!" He said and put is hand up to his forehead to salute her. Is he finally learning?

We all tried to make our outside clothes as comfortable as possible since no one brought pyjamas. Except for Rui of course because he keeps everything imaginable up his ass. Anyways, it'a bed time, I'm lethargic (very sleepy) and need to get my, what Ena calls: "BeAutY sLEep".

We all chose who to sleep next to, each group kinda just sticking together in their own corner. Oh and guess who got sooooo lucky and is sleeping next to Mafuyu. No it's not that I don't like Mafuyu, I'm gay as hell. It's the fact that sleeping next to her will be humiliating because well. What are we? I don't think the title "just friends" works anymore...

Everyone got into their corners and covered themselves up with the blankets they had received. Ena got up and said:

"Okay good night everyone! Don't stay up for too long though, everyone needs to get their be-"

"Beauty sleep yeah yeah we get it good night!!"

Do I feel pretty awesome for saying that? Yes. Am I ashamed that I am feeling that way? No, cause I AM THE ONE THE ONE (god bless you if you know what song I'm talking about)

Slowly, all the lights turned off, one by one. But after that followed a bunch of blue lights lighting up onto peoples faces because yeah, we don't all actually go sleep when we say so. I don't at least. I scroll on Pinterest like a sane human being.

Okay, my eyelids are starting to fall down uncontrollably. I'll go sleep now. But suddenly I felt something on me that made me flinch a little bit. An arm wrapping around me...

Chapter 10: Our Break Time

"7 minutes in heaven! Great idea no?" Mizuki smiled.

"Oh, that game." Mafuyu added. "Sooo break time first?"

"Yep go nuts, eat some snacks, have some drinks or I don't know... hang out with a certain someone?" Ena winked.

"I think I'll look outside a bit. Think about things.." Mafuyu went to think about things and left me alone in the process.

She needs time and you know what? I'll give it to her. I'm a bit afraid she doesn't want us to be together. But maybe she just needs time, yeah definitely. I shouldn't over think this.

3rd person

Worry filled Kanade's eyes and the other two girls had a plan. Ena and Mizuki could be good in this situation, all they had to do was split up and help the others individually.

"Okay so you know what to do right?" Mizuki squeezed Ena's hand.

"Yep! I got it honey, no worries." She reassured her. "Now now we got a mission to accomplish!"

"Mhm! I'll let our fellow party-ers know about our extended break." They pecked Ena's cheek and went off to Kanade.

"I'm so gay." Ena said under her breath.

Now let's not get carried away! Let's see what's up with Mafuyu and Kanade.

Mafuyu

Here I am looking outside the window, alone 'thinking about things'. I'll be frank with you actually no I will be Mafuyu with you. I'm scared. What if Kanade still remembers the nightcord chat? What if she finds out that I'm not 100% saved yet? What if-

"Hey Mafuyu! What's up?"

I turn myself around to see, Mizuki. What were they doing here?

"Oh hey Amia, uhmm nothing much though."

"Are you kidding me? 'Nothing much'?!?! You literally pulled your crush, shouldn't you be happy?"

"Well I uh I-"

"Yuki you can tell me anything. Believe me I'll always be here, so you can tell me anything and I'll listen! Okay?"

"Okay."

"So now, what's really up Mafuyu?"

"I guess I'm just scared."

"Why is that? You guys have a strong bond no?"

"Yeah we do it's probably just me over thinking agai-"

"Mafuyu, you don't think Kanade doesn't forgive you right?"

"Actually I do think that."

"You're kidding, right?"

I looked at Amia with a serious face "No I'm really not."

"Okay who were you kissing non stop in an empty SEKAI classroom?"

"UGH OKAY OKAY I GET IT!" I exclaimed. "I guess I'm just afraid because I've never really been in a relationship before."

"Ahaaaaa." They smirked smugly. "Yeah don't worry I felt that way too. Except I wasn't literally pushing my soon to be lover away."

"Awh come on Mizuki cut me some slack!"

"Nope! Now do you at least feel a bit better?"

"A bit in knowing I'm not the only one who feels like this but otherwise scared."

"If you need any support just let me know okay? I know I'm not the best with advice but I'm here for you."

"Thanks Amia."

"No problem, hug?"

"Hug."

We hugged it out and I started feeling much much better. I'm really glad I have friends like them. Ena, Mizuki and especially Kanade. Although I don't think I can call her a friend anymore. Out of all seriousness I'm really excited, I mean what better could happen?

"I bet me and Kanade were the first to do that in an empty SEKAI classroom haha.." I joked.

"Actually Ichika and Saki were the first." They said closing their mouth after realizing what they just had said. "Uhmmm you didn't hear anything."

"Oh no, I did hear now tell me all you know."

"Okay okay. So you see..."

Meanwhile...

"Come on Kanade just try a sip!" Ena begged.

"NOPE I'M OUT OF HER-"

"Come on we're teenagers we need to try it at least once!"

"As I said, no. I will not be partaking in this activity."

"What? You afraid that you act badly in front of your dear dear Mafuyu?" Ena teased taking a shot.

"AAAAH ENA DON'T DRINK THAT! WE'RE UNDERAGE!" Mizuki came running over.

"Amia it's okay I feel just fine." Ena responded sounding droopy.

"Kanade what happened here?" They asked with worry in their eyes.

"Ena was trying to persuade me into taking a shot or a sip from something alcoholic."

"DUDE YOU CAN'T DO THAT! THAT'S IT!"

"Huh wHat's wRoNg..?" Ena said lazily almost falling to the floor.

"NO MORE DRINKS FOR YOU BABE!" Mizuki pulled Ena away from the drinks table that they had set up.

"NoooOooo. You can't do that mikiiii!"

"Y-yes I can.." Mizuki blushed. "And maybe don't call me that in public?"

"Y-y-yes I can!" Ena mocked Mizuki. "Miki, miki, miki, miki, miki!"

"AAAAHH STOP!"

Ena continued to mock her partner as they screamed while everyone else was still having fun dancing, drinking, strip teasi- WAIT WHAT THE FUCK IS RUI DOING?

"Tsukasaaaa~!" Ruis teased unbuttoning his blouse.

"DUDE WE'RE MINORS!" Tsukasa looked away and covered his face with his hands in embarrassment.

Me and Kanade couldn't help but blush from embarrassment, I mean do you want me to point out how I caught you guys kissing? Don't act funny about us Rui, I saw you and Tsukasa in the park. While I was turning red I could hear some laughs from Airi and Shizuku.

"RUI SHUT UP BEFORE I KICK YOU OUTTTT!" School SEKAI Miku exclaimed.

"FINE!" He buttoned his shirt back on.

"Thank you Rui! Now I will sober up my girlfriend before we start so please continue enjoying yourselves." Mizuki excused herself dragging Ena along with them.

I guess we have to wait some more and try to avoid socializi-

"Hi Asahina-san." A high pitched voice said to me. I turn myself to look back and see who talked to me. I see Emu Otori wearing a big big uhhh... hat? I don't know how to describe it but it made me laugh so hard.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I exclaimed.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEK!" Emu ran to Nene clinging on to her

"Oh sorry Otori-chan I was laughing at the hat."

"I-it's okay Asahina-san." Emu whimpered.

"I HAVE SOBERED UP!" An announcing voice shouted.

"Well, how about truth or dare?" A smug voice said. You know this reminds me of-

"Ugh even though it's a really basic and cheesy game I have to agree with Rui." Tsukasa mumbled. I was cut off from my thoughts.

"Oh sorry I didn't hear you?"

"I said I agreed withoyurwo.."

"OH SORRY I DIDN'T HEAR YOU TENMA?"

"I SAID I AGREED WITH YOU IDIOT! HAPPY NOW?"

"Ah there we go, not so hard is it?" He laughed. "You look cute when you're embarrassed."

"Why do you want to play it anyways..?" Tsukasa blushed.

"Oh you know, just doing what the readers want" he winked.

"No idea what that's about but can we please start playing before I die of cringe?" An annoyed voice said, it was Akito.

"No need to get mad dude." Toya playfully punched him. Which received a very quiet "kay kay.." from Akito.

"Now let's start before it gets too late for other games!" The brown haired host of the party said. We all sat down in a circle while Tsukasa and Rui looked awkwardly at each other since there was no more space for them to sit seperately. They seem close, very close. I mean Mizuki did tell me about their friendship but are they sure it's just a friendship? I mean I do trust Mizuki but I genuinely think that Rui and Tsukasa have a thing for each other. Now let me not get carried away with two boys who have fallen for each other.

There was a cumbersome silence. Luckily the hosts of the party broke it.

"Let's see who wants to go first?" Mizuki asked looking around for someone to volunteer. Ah now I know what this reminds me of, the nightcord chat a few weeks ago. I guess I forgot about that after what Kanade did for me at her place, wait did I thank her for that?

"Mafuyu? Mafuyu helllooooooo?" Kanade asked getting really close to my face. Only me or is it getting hot in here?

"AAH! Oh uhm sorry what were you saying?" I backed away from Kanade's face.

"We spun a bottle since no one had the guts to go." Mizuki complained

"HEY I DID THOUGH!" Rui shouted.

"Shut up Rui, anyways Kanade got chosen by the bottle and she wants to ask you"

Kanade wants to ask me? What if she brings up what happened at my place or hers in the question? She isn't evil no she wouldn't do that. No one would understand anyways, except for Ena and Mizuki. But in a way I want her to ask me. Because I want to tell her I...that I like her. Actually fuck that, I want to tell her I love you.

"So truth or dare Mafuyu?" Kanade hesitantly asked.

"I'll choose... truth!"

"Hmm okay"

"Do you like someomoemn"

"Sorry could you repeat what you said?"

"Do you... DO YOU LIKE SOMEONE?" She practically screamed and the room went silent...again. Everyone sitting in the circle who was paying attention's jaw dropped to the floor. At this point Kanade was beet red looking around in embarrassment. Why was she asking me this? Okay I shouldn't be asking that, I know why. I guess this is her way of confronting what happened.

"I do, I like them a lot."

Suddenly my mouth started moving as fast as my thoughts.

"Their hair, their eyes, their face, their personality, their lips thei-" Phew, I managed to close my mouth in time. I'm in deep shit aren't I?

"OOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!" Saki squealed grabbing onto Ichika for balance which broke Ichika's balance and they both fell to the floor.

"Whooooooooo?" Airi and Shizuku harmonized.

I looked back at Kanade. "My first kiss." I smiled.

OKAY IM REALLY DEEP IN THE SHIT NOW. The hell do I do now? And why the hell did I do that? Everyone saw me look back at Kanade right? Everyone... knows? No no no no this isn't happening right? Right? Everything is fine, they'll just laugh about it like cheesy teens. It's okay.

This was supposed to be Ena and Mizuki's sleepover party we've already gone through the Haruka drama. But that wasn't even real what I'm doing is real real. I hope we can continue the night with no problems. I was looking forward to it.

"Uh hey Mafuyu."

My back shoots to look who's behind me.

"Kanade?"

Why do I feel so safe now? It feels like a magnet is drawing me to Kanade, pulling me into her arms and crying on her shoulder again.

"Kanade I'm sorry I-"

"Yuki, you need to stop questioning yourself." She pat my head. "What did you think happened? Did it feel like everyone was staring at you badly?"

"Y-yes! That's exactly it how did you-"

"Because that is what happened. But instead everyone was squealing, okay mostly everyone."

"Really..?"

"Yes. And uh might be time to talk about what we need to talk about."

Okay lots of awkward silences today... huuup breathe in and breathe out, I got this!

WILL YOU SHUT UP ALREADY?

"Oh right.."

"You don't regret it right?" She asked shakily.

"No, it was the best decision I ever made" I said as I played with her hair. "You know I've liked you for a long time right? Ever since you saved me like that..."

We fell to our knees on the floor, looked at each other and smiled. Our arms holding on to each other tightly.

"I actually didn't until what happened at your place." She laughed. "But I'm glad I got too."

Our fingers laced together and like magnets our lips got closer and closer until they touched. It feels like everything that was on my chest is off now. We pull away from the kiss and pure joy.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Nobody's POV

As Kanade and Mafuyu continued to kiss, confess their love, apologize for what they did and repeat the others were listening from outside like it was some movie. Something most of them were waiting for. Since some do not catch up on the latest tea of the groups.

"WAIT KANADE AND MAFUYU HAVE BEEN CRUSHING ON EACH OTHER?!" Tsukasa whisper yelled

Literally, all the girls look at him with that 'seriously?' Look.

"Dude it's so obvious!" Airi whispered.

"SHUT UP GUYS THEY'RE CONFESSING AGAIN!" Mizuki whisper complained.

"I really like you y'know?"

"Me too Kanade, me too."

"ADORABLEEEEE" Emu squealed.

"Emu be quiet!" Nene covered her mouth.

Thudding could be heard, sounds like someone's on the floor. One of the probably pinned the other to the floor. Did everyone listening know that? Nope.

"Uh oh SOMEONE FELL!" Minori swung the door open.

"MINORI NOOO!" Haruka tried grabbing her before it was too late, it was too late though.

"AAH UHMMM" Minori found herself in front of a Kanade pinning down Mafuyu on the floor about to kiss her (even more). She quickly closed the door realizing what she just had done. "Oopsie...?"

Kanade

What the HELL was that?

"Oh uh we should probably get going, the other must be waiting." I straightened myself up pretending I wasn't on top of her and making ou- I mean kissing her...

"Hm okay." She got up all red.

"It's all okay Mafuyu, we're safe together."

"Y-yes of course. Except I uhh, I think I need time to think about this."

"If it's what you want then I'll wait."

"Thanks, Kanade."

We kissed again then BAM.

"You guys gonna get off each other and get on the game we're about to play?" Mizuki cackled while placing their head on their girlfriends shoulder.

"WHAT IS IT WITH YOU GUYS AND OPENING THE DOOR WITHOUT KNOCKING?!?" I exclaimed.

"Calm down we're going to play the game of the night after a short break." Ena explained patting her partner's head.

"And what is the game of the night?"

"7 minutes in heaven"

Chapter 8: WHAT THE F*CK?!?!

"We have the results guys."

Suddenly all eyes were on them, Minori and Haruka. With one arm wrapped around Haruka to comfort her, Minori held a pregnancy test and looked at Haruka for affirmation. Haruka nodded in response but again, something was off. Her head was down and it seemed like she couldn't look at us. Then everyone heard this distinct sound come out of her mouth.

"CCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH". And soon enough she started laughing her ass off.

What? Is probably going through everyone's mind right now.

"AWH COME ON HARUKA!" Minori giggled.

Soon enough everyone gathered together (except for Ena, Mizuki, Mafuyu and I) like in a group photo or a prom proposal. Rui and Tsukasa grabbed a poster and held it out, one person on each side. "CONGRATS ENA AND MIZUKI!!!" Everyone shouted. Soon they were all laughing, hell even Miku from stage SEKAI started to laugh.

"Guys? Respectfully, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!" Mizuki exclaimed confused. They all started to look like a puppy that knew it did a bad thing. "Welllllllll Rui kinda figured it out" Nene muttered. Mizuki's head turned over to Rui slowly, squinted at him and calmly flipped him off. Rui just smirked of course cause he's Rui. Then Mizuki's head turned back to the rest of the group and asked for more info "k tell me more".

"Rui suggested we surprise you in a way that would leave you guys flabbergasted so Haruka had an idea, which I assume you guys know by now." Airi explained trying to ignore Ena's death stare.

"We worked so hard on this, you have no idea. Teaching all these idiots how to act was driving me insane." Haruka added. "Then we saw our time to shine, your party." Ena's death stare turned into confusion which turned into her being kinda impressed.

"Wait but, the tears?!?!" I exclaimed. "They looked so real how could yo-"

Haruka pulled out a lipstick tube and opened it showing a white lipstick. "It's called a tear stick." She explained. "Emu wanted to use it really bad so she ahem STOLE IT but yeah I used this stick before for when I was an idol." She stared at Emu with the 'you f*ed up' stare.

"Hey I got my Karma though! This thing is not coming off now." Emu whined.

"So nobody is pregnant?" Ena questioned. "Nope" Minori said gleefully. "We're all fine Ena." Minori plastered a smile on her face. Okay that was sketchy as fuck but it was genuine enough for Ena and Mizuki.

"I'm still pissed though, we were really worried!" Mizuki complained. "But at least everything is okay now. Also not going to lie I can't believe you guys pulled that off somehow."

"Wait come to think of it, how did you guys fake the vomit?" I asked flabbergasted. Haruka turned to me and held my shoulders with her hands. "Y'know how you can fake vomit with spoiled milk and stuff? It was easy putting it on the floor but..." she said in disgust. "We had to at least try and fake me vomiting so I... I put some in my mouth..."

"Oh...OHHHH" Ena exclaimed. "And as you may have guessed, having spoiled food in my mouth was not the best thing ever. So some of it was real vomit, BUT WE PULLED IT OFF!" Haruka cheered. I tried to smile with her but god damn it was hard after knowing how hard they worked for this.

Soon enough Mafuyu woke up, fake (and some real) vomit everywhere, poster with congratulations on it in Mizuki and Ena's favorite colors and three flabbergasted people. That must have been a sight for her.

Mafuyu

I wake up and it looks like I'm either in one of the seven rings of hell or paradise. Firstly theres vomit. Secondly Rui and Tsukasa are holding some congratulations poster and Mizuki, Ena and Kanade look shocked. Too shocked for my liking. "Guys what's going on?" I grumbled. Suddenly Emu starts hiding behind Nene. "AH I mean hello Asahina-san" she shouted. "Did you uhhh sleep well?". I wonder what she's so scared of.

After that, Kanade explained to me a very detailed story on what happened (gotta thank her for that later) and wow. They really really care about us, it's nice to be reminded of that every now and then. "So everything is okay?" I asked "yes." Minori assured me. "Everything is okay! Now let's play some games. Pleeeeeaaaaaaasssseeee." She whined. I can't believe they are acting so calm after what had happened was all fake.

"Come on guys we're loosing time anyways" Mizuki exhaled. "yay yay YAYYYY" Emu cheered, I guess she was waiting for this part.

"So any game suggestions?" Ena asked while holding on to Mizuki's hand. "Let's play some Uno!" Rui suggested. Mizuki basically ignored him and asked "any BETTER game suggestions?" I guess that was kind of funny.

"Well, how about some truth or dare?"

Chapter 7: Paralyzed

"I'm sorry what?" Is what I would have said if Emu didn't run out of the room followed by Nene crying.

Suddenly the tears in Haruka's eyes vanished, it was like all the life in her was sucked out.

"Haruka? Haruka can you hear me?" Minori was panicking to death. Imagine your idol, the person you look up to, your friend and (what Mafuyu said) potential crush suddenly got pregnant. That's some traumatizing shit dude.

Everyone tried to get Haruka to answer them but she was as still as a statue, paralyzed by fear. I feel bad for Haruka but, how do Ena and Mizuki feel, this was their big announcement-sleepover-party.

Ena

What do I do? What happened to Haruka, did she..no... I grabbed Mizuki's sleeve and gripped on it tightly. Haruka... was assaulted? But we all know she wouldn't let that happen, she would'v-"

"Does anyone know where we can get pregnancy tests nearby?" Shizuku questioned, I wonder how she must feel right now...

No one responded. Airi even started to cry, what the fuck was going on.? Airi is usually super energetic and positive, but now she's just falling apart. This news was breaking everyone's heart. Mafuyu is so godamn lucky that she's asleep right now.

"I know a vending machine below my apartment that has pregnancy test." Mizuki replied "Me and Ena will go get them." They grabbed my hand and we both exited the SEKAI. In a few seconds we were in their room still holding hands. They opened the door and we quickly left her room then later, their apartment building. We had to be quiet though because her parents were asleep.

"Haruka is going to be ok, right?" I quivered, squeezing onto her hand.

"I.. I don't know Ena." She said while running to the vending machine that we eventually arrived at.

There we were in front of the vending machine that could completely change the course of Haruka's (and our) life. The glass on the vending machine glass had a streak of light on it and behind that glass were around twenty items with numbers beneath them in red. Mizuki's eyes scattered across the vending machine looking for the pregnancy test. After a few seconds she muttered "sixteen, it's number sixteen." Mizuki then proceeded to press the buttons on the machine, the buttons making a satisfying sound with every click. The machine of course asked for money afterwards.

"You got 1400 yen?" They questioned searching her pockets.

"Oh yeah I do! Here." I reached down into my pocket and pulled out some coins. "That should be enough."

"Thanks" She softly kissed my forehead while counting the coins. "Y'know you're as red as a cherry right now, right?" They giggled. I looked down at the floor out of embarrassment. I mean I do know we're dating now and stuff but it was still pretty embarrassing.

Mizuki and I patiently waited for the pregnancy test to fall down but instead it just stuck in the machine. "GODAMMIT NOT NOW MACHINE." Mizuki barked. "Honey calm down I can just ki-" I was going to say kick but I saw a tear roll down Their pretty face.

"Woah woah Amia calm down everything's ok" I tried to assure her.

"NOTHING IS OKAY ENA!" she cried. "this wasn't supposed to happen, we were supposed to announce it and have fun together. And not only that, I feel bad as shit for Haruka. I can't imagine becoming a mother at 16."

I couldn't really say anything, she was right, all I could was comfort her. So I wrapped my arm around her as she sobbed. I grabbed her shoulders and pressed my head against hers. "Mizuki I promise you that we'll figure something out. Haruka will also figure something out and if she is pregnant she can still be here with us at the sleepover-party. She'll just have to be more careful." She nodded and we hugged afterwards.

"I don't know what I would do without you Ena." They smiled. Oh that smile of a million stars shone so brightly. We wrapped our arms around each other and just stayed like that smiling for a bit.

"Me neither Mizuki. I love you." I kissed her. "I love you too Ena." She kissed me back. "Now let me kick this fucking vending machine so we can get the pregnancy test for Haruka" I added. I kicked the vending machine with all I got and stubbed my toe. "OWWWWWW" I hissed in pain. The pregnancy test fell out though so it was worth it.

Mizuki and I rushed quickly back to her appartment to get back to the others, I wonder what shit they were up to now. Mizuki took my hand and clicked on the file. Soon enough we were in the school SEKAI again. This time Haruka looked a bit better, she wasn't as pale as before but she was still in a paralyzed state.

"Aha there you guys are!" Tsukasa said trying to get some more positivity in the classroom which Saki responded to with "Not now idiot".

"Well anyways, do you guys have the test?" Kanade questioned with Mafuyu's head on her lap. I swear to god she better confront Mafuyu about what they did, they are so damn in love with each other.

"Ah yes right here." Mizuki handed it over to Minori who was basically begging Mizuki to hand it over to her. Only seconds later Minori grabbed Haruka by the hand and basically ran to the bathroom with her. Maybe Kanade's prediction did make sense after all.

"So what are we gonna do with the party? I mean Haruka could stay I guess but that's up to you." An asked with a worried face.

"Well, what do you think Mizuki?"

Mizuki

"Oh uhmm I think she could still hang around, yeah." Haruka must be freaking out right now...

"I also wanted to ask, why did you plan this party in the first place Mizuki-kun?" Rui asked smugly. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that, pur big announcement.

"Should we wait for Haruka?" I looked at Ena asking for an answer, quick. "I guess she does have enough big news today.." she muttered. "Okay! Sooo ermmm, Ena and I planned this party to announce that we're dating. But it's not such big news now that Haruka might be pregna-"

"OH MY GOD THATS GREAT YOU GUYS!" Emu cheered. I guess some of her positivity was still left.

"So you did end up getting bitches Mizuki-kun, you owe me some money dude." Rui smirked.

"OH SHUT THE FUCK UP RUI" I exclaimed. That guy is my friend but she is annoying sometimes. We all celebrated Ena and I, Ena was so embarrassed haha. But we were dared to kiss in front of the group to 'prove it' by Rui. I had a shot of vodka or two before that so I was super pissed off at him and grabbed Ena by the collar and kissed her. The look on he face afterwards was so funny. The after a while everyone noticed that Minori and Haruka were back.

"We have the results guys."

Chapter 6: Run.

Today is the day of the sleepover. I grabbed a backpack I rarely used from my closet and started packing. Okay, I have my pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, back up clothes, phone charger, phone, laptop and a card game. That should be enough. I walked downstairs to tell my parents that I had a project to finish and that I was gonna stay overnight at a classmates house, which was a lie of course. I would just go out and climb back onto my window, I mean, I'm not going to tell them about the sekais. That would be an extremely awkward conversation, I mean it took me a while to believe it too.

After I told my parents I noticed that it was only my father there, watching TV, drunk. Of course he would get drunk today, that fucking idiot. Probably had a 'hard' time at 'work' today.

"HEY YOU LITTLE FREAK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP SO LATE HUH?!?!" He yelled.

Shit shit shit. This wasn't good, where was mother? Then he just continued ranting about me and at some point, he pushed me to the ground. Since I knew what he was going to do I braced myself and put my arms in front of me. He kicked, he punched, he yelled.

"YEAH THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FREAK" He shouted at me while still punching my forearms.

That's it, I had to get out of this shit hole, but how? I have to think, what would scare a drunk person? I thought and thought of a way while tears started to form in my eyes from the pain. Cuts and bruises don't go well together haha... My forearms ache, my knee hurts from the kick, I'm done for if I don't think of something quickly.

From prior experience, i knew that he would get startled by something loud. So I screamed at the top of my lungs which made my father fall back. I grabbed my backpack and ran for it, but where would I go? Ena and Mizuki's houses are too far and plus they are preparing the party, Saki too...The closest house I know is... Kanade's! I grabbed my phone as quickly as I could and texted her on nightcord.

Yuki: heyg i need ti cpmr to yiour housr

Yuki: pleasr.

It was hard typing while running for your life, I was starting to wonder if she's ever gonna reply. I mean what we did at my place was pretty awkward and embarrassing. Luckily Kanade responded to my texts

K: Ok come! Everything ok btw...?

No. Nothing was ok Kanade. I didn't respond and just kept running and running until, I saw her apartement building. I rang the bell gasping for air and she let me in. I ran up to her apartment and the door was already opened. I was so tired that I just fell down to my knees, Kanade wrapped her arm under my shoulder and helped me back up.

She brought me to her bed and sat down with me, she started talking but the rush in my ears caused me not to hear anything at all. I just watched as her lips moved in confusion, all I could do was watch. I felt completely numb at this point, my legs? Air. My arms? Air. My head? Air.

Then finally I could hear her voice.

"Mafuyu? Can you hear me?" She asked softly.

I was trying to say something but my vocal chords didn't correspond so I just nodded. And for Kanade that was somehow enough. "Okay can you breathe in with me?" She softly added and I nodded. "breathe in...2..3...4. Good!"

Somehow getting praised by hear made my heart flutter and my stomach stirr, I wanted to hear it again and I did get to. "Breathe out...2..3...4! Well done!"

Why wasn't she asking me what happened, why was she staying? If it was Ena or Mizuki they would ask me what happened right away. But Kanade just stayed and comforted me, it was...nice?

We kept on doing the same exercise.

"Breathe in 1...2..3..4 good!" "Now breathe out..1..2...3 great!"

My heart was beating at the speed of light at this point, why was receiving praise from her feeling so..good? I mean, we both know that we have fallen deeply in love for each other but we haven't even confronted this. We have a lot to talk about, a lot...

She then grabbed my hands and looked me straight in the eye (haha that's ironic) and softly asked "What happened to you Yuki?" The sparkle in her scarlet blue eyes was just, wow. It was like I could see the galaxy in her eyes. Truly beautiful. It was now time to fess up.

"I-I was going downstairs to tell my parents that I was gonna go somewhere overnight a-and I saw that only my dad was there. He was there w-watching TV, drunk, he started to beat me and call me f-freak" I quivered.

I fell into her arms and cried, a lot. I haven't cried like this in what... 2 years? Whatever she did made me just break down on her shoulder. She rubbed my back while comforting me after what happened. I started to hyperventilate again so we did the breathing exercises again. Receiving praise from her again felt nice, my stomach disagrees.

She told me she had to go to the bathroom really quickly and she quickly left my vision. I don't know what it was but when Kanade suddenly out of my sight, I started to panic. I held on tightly to the sheets, gripping on them in fear. Suddenly all the comfort I previously had felt, escaped my body.

Then Kanade came back in and I felt like I was revived (wow :O so surprising).

"Mafuyu, do your teachers kno-"

"Yes, yes they do Kanade."

Lucky me, my school gives zero shits. They saw me with bruises every other day but like I said, they give zero shits.

"Oh yeah, I forgot.." she worryingly said. "Also, I know it's kind of bad timing but uhmm" she hesitated "we need to talk about what happened at your place." She looked down at the floor avoiding eye contact this time.

"Uhhhmm I- wait shit WE'RE LATE FOR THE PARTY"I exclaimed. Kind of relieved that I could change the subject.

Kanade helped me get up again and now haha, the pain hit. I hissed in pain but she helped me get to her monitor. We clicked on the file and soon enough we were in the school sekai.

But something was off, everyone was surrounding Haruka.

Kanade

Yep something was off, Haruka was all pale and throwing up everywhere. It looked so bad that even Mafuyu (who was aching in pain) was reacting to it.

"HOLY SHIT GUYS WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" I shouted looking around the room for answers.

"THANK GOD YOU GUYS FINALLY ARRIVED!" Ena cheered running towards us. I swear to god if she doesn't tell us now I'm gonna kill the bitch (idk ur kinda sounding like Ena rn man).

"Haruka started feeling sick before we even got here" Minori explained having one arm wrapped around Haruka. "Quickly Shiho get a trash can or a bag, just something!"

Shiho rushed out the room to find whatever Minori needed for Haruka.

"Also what happened to Mafuyu?" Emu peeped.

"N-not now..." Mafuyu mumbled. She really wasn't in the right state of mind to explain. I mean imagine you get abused by your own father, the school knows, but only now you tell your friend. And then your other friend gets sick as fuck and no one knows why.

I put mafuyu down on a table and put my bag under her head to serve her as a pillow. She needs a nap, desperately needs a nap.

As I predicted she fell asleep in a few seconds. Now I could figure out what happened to Haruka.

Shiho came running back with throw up bags and Miku from Stage SEKAI?!?!? I dunno how she was here but she looked so worried and immediately started searching the room for Haruka who had currently been sitting in a corner with Minori.

"HARUKA!!! I think I know what might be wrong" Miku said quivering. I could see her usual confidence leave her eyes, this was serious.

"What could be wrong Mik-" Haruka said before retching. "I can't think of anything I did that woul-"

"Yes you do Haruka." Miku blurted

Haruka just looked at Miku and tears started to form in her eyes. Everyone was confused, what would make her cry this much? Haruka was careful, I mean the most dangerous thing I can think of that she would do is spend all her money on plush penguins.

"Miku w-what's up?" Minori quivered.

"Guys, Haruka is pregnant."

Chapter 5: Are...?

Kanade

A few weeks have passed since that uh... yeah you know what I mean! I grabbed my sweats and headed out. Today Ena and Mizuki decided to have some coffee all together, again. I walked on the street making sure I didn't step on any cracks on the floor. How would I talk to Mafuyu after that talk we had on nightcord? This feeling makes my stomach stir. Mafuyu did nothing wrong, and if she does love someone else, fuck it, she's happier with them probably. Plus, it's not like she would leave our friend/music group for that, right? I just ca- and bam, I had walked into a tree, again. I stopped focusing on that and started focusing on getting to that cafe, then bit later, I arrived late as usual.

"hey guys" I mumbled.

"aha there you are K!" Ena exclaimed. "we were waiting for you, ready to order?"

"oh uhm yeah sure!" I added.

We all ordered something off the menu, Ena and Mizuki obviously choosing the most detailed things while Mafuyu and I took something simple. Wait Mafuyu! I almost forgot, was she ok? I glanced at her, noticing some bandages on her arms. Did someone hurt her? Did she have an accident? Suddenly I was stuck my head trying to figure it out. What if she... no... would she?

"Earth to Kanade? Earth to Kanade?" I faintly heard.

"huh what?!" I answered.

"damn Kanade are you ok? You seem to be zoning out more than usual." Mizuki asked concerned.

"uh no no I'm doing fine" I lied. I couldn't tell them that I was thinking about the love of my life.

"Sure.." Ena stared at me.

"Well anyways, me and Ena wanted to...announce something" Mizuki peeped. "Ena and I are..."

"Are..?" Mafuyu questioned.

"officially dating!" Ena announced.

"Hey I was gonna say it!" Mizuki complained.

"You were too slow!" Ena hissed.

"Guys guys calm down, that's great!" I cheered. "When did you guys start dating?"

"After that chat on nightcord we both chatted privately and that somehow lead to us going out the next day" Mizuki explained.

"Then we became tipsy and we kinda just blurted out all our secrets." Ena muttered.

"Haha that makes sense" Mafuyu laughed.

"AHEM" Mizuki said

"Anyways let's get to the point" Ena added to make sure Mizuki didn't murder anyone. "Mizuki and I wanna tell the others from the other sekais about it." Ena exclaimed.

"So we are gonna throw a huge sleepover party in the school sekai since the other sekais are either too loud or don't have much to do" Mizuki added. "And yes I have already texted Saki about it, don't worry Ena"

"Phew that's a relief" Ena exhaled.

"But wait, why did you tell us then?" Mafuyu asked.

"Come on guys, y'all are our girls! Of course we would tell you first." Mizuki cheered.

"Also HOW DID YOU GUYS GET TIPSY?!?!?" I shouted.

"Kanade SHHHH, let's not worry about that now..." Ena replied.

And just like that, Mizuki and Ena were together. We (mostly Ena and Mizuki) planned the party, there was gonna be boardgames, video games and more. Of course, they wanted to have one of those cheesy games like spin the bottle and 7 minutes in heave- wait SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN?!?!?

"Yeah what about it K? You scared?" Ena smirked.

"I am not scared!" I hissed. "Plus I don't even like anyone!"

It was at that moment that Ena and Mizuki looked at me with the 'don't fuck with us' stare and I immediately changed my behaviour. I swear those idiots are scary sometimes...

In the end we just tried to predict who would take whom in the closet for 7 minutes in heaven. Mizuki predicted that Rui would take Tsukasa (trust me I don't know why either). Ena predicted that Emu would take her plush with her as a joke which led to Mizuki and Ena betting on it. Mafuyu said that she thinks Minori would take Haruka and I... honestly don't know. I 100% think that Ena and Mizuki are gonna stay more than 7 minutes in the closet though.

After an hour and a half of planning, we had a 'normal' conversation. Just talking about normal things. But then I realised that this was my chance to ask Mafuyu what happened to her arms, so I asked her

Mafuyu

"Hey Mafuyu, not to be nosy but, what happened to your arm?" Kanade asked concerned.

I snapped back to reality, shit, how was I going to tell her? I mean I kind of did that BECAUSE OF HER...

"Oh uhmm, well" I cut myself off as I felt her holding my arm and examining it. As she held and inspected it I felt butterflies in my chest. Her just holding me gave me a sense of comfort, it was nice.

"So what happened?" Mizuki asked with a worried face.

"I... I'd rather not say." I mumbled.

"Hey Mafuyu, you aren't hurting yourself right?" Kanade questioned as her eyes got bigger.

"I..."

And boom, the tears started to come out. Just a little nudge can make me pop. I feel so stupid. Ena immediately stood up and wrapped her arms around me. Mizuki gave me pats on the shoulder and Kanade looked like she was about to cry as well. I wonder why...

"I'm sorry guys I didn't want to make your announcement turn into my shitty problems" I cried.

"No Mafuyu it was my fault, I should have asked you in a more appropriate time" Kanade exclaimed. "But Mafuyu, if you don't wanna tell us why today, we'll wait, we'll wait 3 years if we have to."

"Exactly! We are here for you Yuki." Mizuki agreed. A few seconds later Ena nodded still comforting me.

Just Kanade saying that made my heart flutter, my face was suddenly very hot and Ena thought I also had a fever and got worried. I assured her that I was fine. They tried to lift my spirits and we all started laughing, these people really know me huh. I thanked them for the support and congratulated the new pair once again. Now it was time to wait for the day of the party to come.

Chapter 4: Hurt

I turned of my monitor and pc after K went offline. I cover my face with my hands and think about what I have just done. The guilt and shamelessness going through me. Why did I do that? Am I just unaware of how people can feel? Am I useless? Why was I so...hopeful? I will never have a special someone. Its over.

I get out of my chair slowly and start walking to my bed searching and searching for my silver scissors. My eyes and the scissors meet and I grab them quickly and hold them open on my arm. Am I really gonna do this? Again?

Its my only way out, my parents wont bother to get me a therapist anyways because I am such a perfect girl. My parents never cared about me, im just a tool for them to brag about. School isn't any better, if I don't get good grades I get grounded or hit. I have no other choice. The scissors slowly make a cut on my arm, blood starts dripping of my arm. I stare at this cut, watching more and more blood emerge from the wound. I continue cutting until I run out of space on my forearm. I reach for the almost empty bandage roll on my desk and wrap it around my forearm that is covered in cuts. I finish wrapping it up and put the bandage role back on my desk.

I grab my cheap earphones, they weren't the best but they did what they needed to do. I open spotify and right away pops up my playlist called "Listen don't read". Maybe a bit of a cheesy name but it has the songs I need to stop myself from hurting. Immediately I get an ad, I wait impatiently for it to end. But that of course led to 2 other annoying ads on why I should get spotify premium. Then finally I start hearing a song: we fell in love in october by girl in red.

Smoking cigarettes on the roof

You look so pretty and I love this view

I listen carefully to the lyrics.

That's why, I love fall

I'll never get someone like that.

Looking at the stars

Admiring from afar

But it would be nice.

I listened to the rest of the song daydreaming about the lyrics, until a song that I didn't even add to my playlist starts playing and I close the spotify app. I haven't checked my twitter in a while, I guess I could check it out.

Hm.. oh it's Ena's 2 year Twitter anniversary, I could see the comments on that.

Slowly, I opened the Spotify app again and listened to music until I dozed off to sleep.

On my way home I just couldn't get Mafuyu out of my head, like super glue the thought wouldn't come out. Why was I thinking about Mafuyu? Maybe it was her silky smooth hair, or her dark purple eyes. Whatever it was it stuck to me and obviously wasn't coming off unless I thought more about it. I don't like her, do I? As I slowly said that my face felt warmer then usual. Mafuyu

I finally wake up, feeling slightly better than last night. This is weird, why do I feel like I'm holding onto something? I turned around to see what I was holding, it was Kanade's arm. As i stared at her while she was asleep, i started to blush deeply. Our faces were so close to each other, but I had to resist so I just fell asleep again.

Kanade

I wake up and as I slowly open my eyes, Mafuyu's face was right in front of mine. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, her soft lips almost touching mine. I couldn't resist, and she wouldn't know so I leaned in but before i could she woke up and said "K-kanade?" I immediately froze. We were both blushing. "S-sorry Mafuy"- I suddenly felt her soft lips touch mine, we kissed for a minute straight (oops) and when we stopped kissing we just both looked at each other in confusion. At this point we understood that we liked each other, a lot. Instead of discussing it I got up and made breakfast. She insisted that she could help but I told Mafuyu to rest since she still wasn't fully recovered. While I was making breakfast, there was an awkward silence between me and Mafuyu, we would just talk to each other normally but after what happened, things just got awkward. Anyways time flew by and Ena and Mizuki FINALLY woke up. "Good morning everyone" Ena yawned. We all ate the breakfast I made.

Mizuki

Once we finished eating I asked Ena if we could talk in the bathroom. She nodded and we went in. I think she understood what I wanted to talk about with her. Me and Ena totally heard Kanade and Mafuyu last night so we wanted to give them some time alone (and talk about wtf is going on). "They thought that we were asleep LOL" Ena laughed. "I know right! We could also hear them smooch in the morning heheheh" I said smirking. "So, mission get Mafuyu and Kanade together?" Ena asked. I nodded and we left the bathroom.

Mafuyu

While Mizuki and Ena left there was a VERY awkward silence between me and Kanade and if we did actually look at each other we both blushed. "T-the food was very good" I said to make it a bit less awkward. "Thanks" Kanade replied. And then FINALLY Ena and mizuki came back looking very suspicious, they just couldn't stop giggling, I wonder why? Anyways Mizuki then asked me if we could go talk in another room and I said yes so we left the others and talked. "Ok Mafuyu so...I kinda know what happened last night" Mizuki said with a shaky voice. I just couldn't believe it, I mean I wasn't mad at her it was obviously a mistake, I just didn't want too turn cherry red right in front of her.

"Look Mafuyu, i'll help you and Kanade get together but you must do me a favor too, help me and Ena get together" She said.

There was a silence in the room and eventually she said "are you not surprised that i like Ena?" "Not really, it was pretty obvious you guys are always fighting yet you two stay friends" I replied. Mizuki got mad but anyways i shook hands with her that she would help me and I would help her. We exited the bathroom trying not to look suspicious then I glanced at Kanade and Ena and they were also trying not to look suspicious. After that very long and awkward silence, Mizuki suggested that we stopped by at the local café. And so we all went together to the local café, we talked and talked until it was almost dark. We all eventually said goodbye and went back home.

Chapter 1: From being at a Restaurant, to Being Sick

3rd Person

The entire group, Mafuyu, Kanade, Ena and Mizuki, decided to go meet up at an outdoor restaurant with very good hot ramen.

Mafuyu got ready, she decided to wear a long black dress with elegant long sleeves. Kanade on the other hand, just wore her sweats. Ena and Mizuki just wore the regular trendy outfits.

Slowly, they all showed up at the restaurant except for Kanade, she arrived 5 minutes late. Ena and Mizuki teased Kanade for being late (and for wearing her already stained sweats).

"Haha! Are you seriously wearing your sweats?" Ena giggled.

"Look! Even Mafuyu dressed up!" Mizuki said almost dying of laughter. Kanade didn't notice Mafuyu's dress till now.

Kanade

The moment I walked in 5 minutes late, I got teased by Ena and Mizuki for not being 'well' dressed (and for being late). Mizuki then mentioned Mafuyu's dress, as i glanced over at Mafuyu, I felt my face get warm.

She looked so elegant in that long black long sleeved dress, I couldn't help but blush. She looked so beautiful, her hair was all fluffy as usual, but today her hair was down. Oh and her eyes! Those beautiful dark purple eyes!

Wait a second do I love Mafuyu?!?! Haha...no way right?

"Uhhh earth to Kanade?" Ena said. I realised that I got lost in my thoughts while I thought of Mafuyu, how embarrassing...

Mafuyu

We finally ordered our ramen after Kanade zoned out for like 3 minutes straight while blushing. Even though she didn't wear anything special today, she looked so adorable!

Wait what the fuck did I just say?!

I've been acting like this with Kanade ever since she saved me with her music I started... adoring her?

Suddenly while im eating and thinking about Kanade at the same time Ena says "Man these noodles are good! I should take a picture of them and post it on social media!" Just as Ena pulled out her phone, Mizuki grabbed it out of her hands and said "Can we just enjoy our food Ena!" Ena got mad about this and she started arguing with Mizuki.

Just to make them shut up I said "hey guys how about we all sleep over at my place?"(what 💀) Ena and Mizuki immediately stopped fighting and nodded. We payed for the bill and left to go to my place. I let everyone borrow some of my night clothes and we all got ready to bed. I luckily had an extra futon for 2 people, so i lay it on the floor and asked everyone "ok who wants to sleep with who?" (Editing this is as painful as a lobotomy.)

Ena and Mizuki immediately looked at each other so I let them sleep on the extra futon while me and Kanade slept on my bed.

Wait that means.. I get to sleep next to Kanade! ugh SNAP OUT OF IT MAFUYU!

Anyways since we were all ready i said "Ok I'm gonna turn the lights off, you are free to stay awake!" Everyone decided to sleep since we all had a long day.

I quickly dozed off but then i suddenly woke up at 1am, sweating, panting, dizzy and confused.

I couldn't think properly anymore, I caught a cold. Kanade woke up she must have heard me panting. "Mafuyu! Are you ok!?" She said with a worried voice. I couldn't think i just felt dizzy.

Kanade

"What's wrong with Mafuyu?!?" I thought, i touched her forehead and she was as hot as a boiling pot! I even asked her something but she isn't answering me. What do i do? I guess i should get her some water, that might help her.

"I am gonna get you some water Mafuyu" I said as I got up to get the water, but something was pulling me by my sleeve, it was Mafuyu.

"P-please...don't...don't leave me a-alone..." Mafuyu cried with her eyes almost full of tears.

"Okay" I said "I'll stay right next to you" I smiled. As I got myself comfy next to her, she held my arm very tightly and she quickly fell asleep again. I feel very warm inside, its like my stomach is full of butterflies, I might be in love with Mafuyu...
