Boromir Week Day 2: Son of Finduilas (late)

Tried to do a more simple style, not really chibi though? Trying more stuff with Gondorian clothing, though I think I like my other designs more (as well as Faramir’s design)

I really wasn’t sure where to go with Finduilas’ design and am really loving @emilybeemartin take on her, so I hope you don’t mind me using your design for her 😭

Minas Tirith

For @boromir-week; not sure which prompt it fits best since it doesn't specifically mention Boromir, but it's been the state of things his whole life, so it seems to fit the vibe of this week. Perhaps 'Captain of Gondor' Or even 'Son of Denethor'? Feel free to choose another, though.

White City of Kings, Minas Tirith, Tower of Guard Minas Arnor that was, a fortress of stone Built against the slope of the mountainside itself Where Mindolluin thrusts out a rocky spur To cleave the City in twain Seven tiers and seven gates, winding to the top Where the White Tower pierces the sky And the white banner of the Stewards Snaps proudly in the breeze above the City's fair walls As the clarion call of silver trumpets Fills the air.

But at the Tower's foot, a courtyard With a fountain, and a tree that has withered and died. For the throne that sits empty in the Hall of Kings And the sable banner of Tree and Stars and Crown Flies no longer above the battlements. Long has it been since the last king rode away And passed into Shadow. Boromir Week: Final Shot

You can thank @aranov for the request of Boromir in armor with his hair in a bun.

He's followed Aragorn through Dunharrow and down the river to reach Minas Tirith in it's final hours, and after scything his way across Pelennor like a man possessed, he makes his final stand in front of the lower gate to the city. Here he is in the breaths after, when he turns to see the city in flames---but standing.

Elrond's outfit is based off of a melange of ancient dress, most notably Assyrian, with some medieval dagging in there to evoke the shape of leaves. Gandalf is based largely on the Quechua people who inhabit the Andean region of South America with some Viking touches here and there.
