@osmiumamygdala since its been rumoured that an x men film will begin production in mid 2025 im again hoping Colossus will be included in it and i again am thinking of fancasting for the character. I still think Gymnast Illia kovtun would be ideal physically what do you think?

Yes thats him. He actually isnt as tall as you would assume when photographed next to other gymnasts, hes actually a fairly average height 5.10 feet. Its just hes a giant for a professional gymnast.

Plus hes only 19, or 20 cant remember, so hed be the right age to play Piotr when he first joined. That and hes really muscular.

I wonder what age his son would be? Since the whole sliding timescale means the entirety of the events of the x men encompass about 10-15 years, and Piotr had only recently joined the x men when he met nereel ( doesnt that technically make him a teenage father) his son would be in his early teens.

Do you think it would be interesting if realizing he was lied to causes him to snap mentally?

Id also like to see a storyline of him being kidnapped and brainwashed/indoctrinated. Which is pretty obvious considering the fic i wrote.

What do you think would be an interesting sole storyline for Colossus? For me it would be if he met his son in the savage land.

To start, I have so many Savage Land Son ideas

Funny idea, but take it with a grain of salt because of my fuzzy memory: you know how Piotr’s son is named Peter Jr.? And Nereel told Piotr she named him after his father? Well, iirc, looking back, Spider-Man was on Savage Land around that time... because Peter Parker had been sent to get the scoop on the place! So I like to think that's one reason Piotr doesn't put two and two together; he thinks, "Wow. This journalist gets up to some stuff, huh?"

I also like to think the only reason Longshot hasn't said anything, other than Nereel telling him not to, is because any time he goes "maybe it's time to check on my old pal Colossus," Piotr's whole life is falling apart again, so it is Never The Right Time

All that aside, I like to think it could be a mini or an ongoing where the first arc is Piotr discovering that Junior is his, and storming his way IMMEDIATELY to Savage Land. If anybody tries to stop him for some reason... it will not go well. This man is GETTING TO HIS SON and making up for lost time! Nothing is going to get between him and his family again! But he doesn't want to take Junior away from Savage Land. To Piotr, home and culture are really important, so he thinks Junior needs to stay. First few stories are sort of episodic about Piotr and Junior bonding on Savage Land.

The next arc would, of course, be that something drives Piotr and Junior out of Savage Land. Probably some big threat going after Piotr, but Junior is determined to tag along because, 1, he loves his dad, and 2, he wants to explore the world! Cue traveling shenanigans and Junior meeting his extended family. Look, I NEED to see Illyana as an aunt. And I NEED to see her and Junior being little shits to each other and towards everyone else together. Also, could you imagine? Piotr and Illyana keep seeing pieces of themselves (and even Mikhail) in Junior. It draws them all closer together

But you asked me MY solo ideas!

I don't really have many solo ideas for Piotr now that I think about it

I heard about a pitch a Marvel creative had for him that I sorta latched on to (wish I could remember who it was). It was Colossus: God's Country in nature where Piotr would just be hoofing it around the United States, getting into trouble and finding his way out of it. I like to think a story like this could have the added drive of "he's on the run," and there are many options for who could be after him: bad guys, of course, but maybe also his allies, trying to get ahold of him.

Colossus Clean Up Crew. Colossus' whole thing-- even more than his strength-- is his durability, his resistance to the elements. Would love a mini or a series of him going where others can't to save the day. Thwarting a radioactive leak! Going into heats even firemen can't brave! Facing down a raging storm! Shielding people from collapsing buildings with his body! And, as the name suggests, he would hang around after to make certain that everything is cleared away and everyone gets out safe.

Not a solo, I know, but I desperately want a series where Illyana and Piotr co-star. The Illyana parts would focus on her magical adventures. She's always leaping in to help where needed, interacting with her magical buddies. And then you have Piotr, who is sort of the mundane focus, meaning his parts deal with more worldly issues. It, of course, overlaps a majority of the time because Illyana and Piotr would be rooming together and everyone will finally remember that Piotr's metal skin is invulnerable to some types of magic, and straight up hurts some magical creatures. There'd be themes like "It's Okay To Need Help" and "Just Because I Don't Always Understand You Doesn't Mean I Don't Always Love You" and they'd get to grow closer together, do some REAL, ON PANEL mending work for their sibling relationship, and really learn about and appreciate each other. The book could switch mood from cozy to creepy to whimsical to gritty on a dime.

If anybody else has ideas they want to share please please please don't be shy. I will do a whole front flip of joy.

Its the first ive written in months and i think ive become a little rusty but i still believe its goodish.

okay, i took 15 minutes to write what might be the beginning of the sequel. Tell me what you think, and @sadstonewrites and @osmiumamygdala as well.

Eyelids ringed by dark circles fluttered under the intense light of the medical room.

As the freemen nurse looked on her patient she saw bare limbs, thick with muscle, begin to move in deliberation. Their movements stopped by the thick metal cuffs tightly bounding the mans ankles and wrists.

Soft snoring and breathing became interrupted by faint muttering in a tongue and accent that were utterly foreign to the nurses’ ears.

“K…Kypt…Kur…” a voice that was deep yet softly spoken mumbled. A voice that was surprisingly young and boyish coming from such a mountain of muscle.

The nurse was only truly beginning to realise that the Russian mutants face was young looking to. He seemed so much older in the television shows she had watched but she now realised that was down to the stoic and somewhat grim expressions that made him a rather intimidating figure on screen. That and the fact that on many of the televised trials his skin had been transformed into metal and his entire form a living suit of armour.

She was looking at such a show now. A repeat of one of the most popular shows in Mojos universe, it was an action series, and in the footage she was watching Piotr was in his mutant form (Colossus... was that what he was called when made of metal, she thought) walking across the bottom of an active volcano. Indestructible cameras, a thousand years more advanced than even the most advanced  tech on earth had captured, had captured every detail in perfect quality as Piotr had undergone battle with titans and golems composed of magma and lava.

That was in the earliest days of Piotr Rasputin and Kurt Wagner’s enslavement, and they had been immediately assigned to star in the more adrenaline fuelled shows in the dimension. It had appeared to have been a wise choice at first, both boys were warriors and had extradinariy abilities, and they had left the audience cheering, whooping, and hollering at the end of every episode but soon it became apparent.

They were too beautiful to be wasted on something as mundane as action.

Hi, im thinking about getting into writing again. I might write a sequel to the colossus and nightcrawler in the mojoverse short i wrote. Would you be interested in that?

A squeal? Yeah I would interested in reading it! You should definitely do it, your writing is amazing.

One of mine is that Owen was a total daddys boys, they were incredibly close and he saw him as his best friend. Then during the divorce after his mother gaining custody and not seeing his father for months caused him to deteriorate mentally and physically.

Every muscle man I draw lately is Colossus from X-men. Nice excuse to draw very exaggerated muscles and fanboy out about something. This is super rough but I like the pose and anatomy and I'm trying to internalize musculature better.

Yes, suffering sexily is a perfectly apt summary of piotrs existence. Indeed, it inspired quite a lot of his trials in my stories.

Also, in that story the plugs were only in for that page (or the artists just forgot about them) and for the rest of the story Piotr kept changing position, as did the nature of his restraints, for no obivous reason, almost like the villains main concern was to pose Piotrs shirtless body in whatever way showed off his body best of all.

Plus, in astonshing x men Piotr was kept in his prison wearing nothing but a red speedo and im pretty sure if there wasnt censorship issues he would have been kept naked.

So yeah, a lot of villains seem to really enjoy stripping piotr.

@osmiumamygdala​ In x men gold when colossus was kidnapped why did his captors take his shirt off for no apparent reason? Also, if i recall his position and the type of restraints used on him changed in virtually every page.

@osmiumamygdala​ do you ever read X men origins Colossus? Its my favourite Colossus comic story….a fairly relative title considering the limited competition but still its good. Despite only being one issue it nicely illustrates Piotrs character, his love and protective nature towards his family, despite outwardly appearing cold/stoic/angry hes an enormous teddy bear deep down (speaking of which i liked the art and the despiction of Colossus, the way hes drawn here is how i picture him in my two fics).

Plus, some of the scenes in this influenced elements of my fic. The part about Piotr entertaining his sister by lifting disused factory equipment and him being found half dead by a family friend when he first used his powers.

@osmiumamygdala so glad you like my ideas. Can i include some more?

-  I think the potential for strange Hideo Kojima/ yakuza style sense of humour would be nice. Not in the actual story but through certain choices. 

Like, Colossus costume would be the more realistic varieties seen in modern times or even the black covert ops style costume he wears in the ultimate universe but you could select the colourful and skimpy costumes he first wore or go even further and have him wear, in a serious story and game, the speedo he wore when he escaped from ord in astonshing x men. 

Or, in some parts of the game which leaves rural and traditional russia behind he would to grubby parts of moscow and the player could force him to attend a strip club, his facial animation would appear really embarrassed and blushing the entire time. Possibly there would be plotline where he would have to leave  but he doesnt have money and cant use his powers and the player would have several options, go to fighting tournaments, do odd jobs for the local mafia or  to save time he would need to do a minigame where he poses shirtless for a webcam.

- Since the story would involve him being isolated and all characters related to him are dead their would have to be some original characters. Since i liked writing Kodi so much in my fic it should be a mutant child he could bond with. Other recurring characters could be a sparring partner to wrestle with who would keep mysteriously just keep showing up in different villages like the merchant in re4.

- Im not sure their should be a hub world, since the story is about him on the run. Maybe, he could mediate and think back to the mansion or his home village?

- Im trying to think of set pieces, it couldnt just be all stealth/ depowered sections in his normal form. 

.Maybe an entire boss fight under water, possibly under a frozen neva river. Or like in the end of my fic a fight through one of the castles/ cathedrals/ theatres. maybe against mikhail who keeps casting portals to change the stage, maybe even into the ISS because Mikhail was an astronaut.

- Ive changed my mind about the whole him being naked like raiden in mgs2 when he escapes his captors, tad distracting. Just have him be shirtless and barefoot. I think throughout the sequence there would be cutscenes or loss of control for the player when Piotr ruins his cover to try to assist or comfort other prisoners necessitating him to have to double back or take a longer route.

- In human form he could still fight, its just that in his flesh and blood form he would be ripped apart by bullets right away. So he has to hide, use stealth, and if hes caught  he has to pray theres only one and try to take him down right away.

Maybe the plot would be that hes moved back to rural russia after yet another trauma and, like in krakoa,  just wants to be left alone and never want to fight again.  Only for the like of weapon x try to track him down and enslave him.

I think it would be interesting if he would only be able to use his powers after he gets sufficiently angry, like the spartan rage in god of war, or in specific sections, and he would have to rely on his own natural strength and fighting skills, at least in the first part of the game.

Or because hes terrified of hurting/ killing people he never uses his powers against a human and only activates them when fighting another mutant or cyborg in a boss fight. 

They could use powers that are very rarely referenced, like his inability to breathe in his steel form. There could be stealth sections where he assumes his steel form to hide in fires or under water to avoid detection.

Throughout the game Colossus would journey across several villages, he could travel via train or navigating rivers, their could be a few missions where he explores abandoned cathedrals and theaters throughout russia.

I think there should be a metal gear moment where hes captured, tortured and then escapes.

theres no possibility to be honest. Im hoping that since theyre friends Piotr will have a part in the upcoming wolverine game buts thats it.

So to expand.

-Yes, i think some classic x men villains would be nice. I really want to see omega red, as a boss fight.

- Since he doesnt exactly have a big ensemble cast to himself, hell his parents are dead, i think some x men characters could show up in a supporting role like Nightcrawler or Kitty, even if literally only over a radio or phone. 

-I still think when confronted by humans Piotr would assume his human form and the game would become more like a stealth game.  With the bits i mentioned, like he would walk along the river bed or something in his steel form to hide and knock them out individually when he has the opportunity.

- I still want their to be a metal gear style moment where hes captured and tortured and has to escape a facility. Preferably shirtless, or like in MGS2 and my fanfic he would spend the level buck naked.

- minigames. He could help out the villagers, or participate in wrestling matches or art classes.

- I think it would be interesting, exploring parts of russian history/ culture, like exploring palaces, churchs or theatres.

-Since it seems to be a thing that superhero games have to have one weird, acid trip style level, like the scarecrow levels in arkham or the scorpion ones in spiderman there could be a level  where hes drugged or attacked telepathically. It could be him reliving childhood memories, like when everyone found out he was a mutant by stopping the tractor, or where he has hallucinations of old foes or of the creatures in the stories his mother used to read to him.

What do you think the reason owen become so isolated and bullied was in the first place? 

Headcannon: kenny is the only person allowed to bully owen. He will flat out target other people for picking on owen
