You think Hima never gave any attention to the immortality of his characters but then you stumble upon that weird fact in which humans can turn mad after spending a lot of time with nations.

Which obviously complicates things a little bit if you want nations and humans to interact.

My theory would be that you might feel strange after a week of interacting with a nation 24/7. You probably lose the concept of time and what seems like some minutes turns out to be a whole day.

However, spending a day or two in their company should be fine. Sporadic interactions in which you switch between nations and humans might help in keeping track of time.

Nations are aware of their effect on people so they try to keep a distance while still being aproachable. However you can't trust them to keep track on time since their concept of it is distorted because of their immortality.
