katsuki might be a little rough, brash to those who don’t know him, he might bluff with fake threats but even then it’s all talk and much milder when directed at you than at his friends. because katsuki is kind, he’s reasonable, he’s gentle, he’s a lover through and through. he doesn’t even ever really get mad at you, and when you’re mad at him, he doesn’t let that be either. the only time he’s mean is when he’s being nice to you; when he’s being so gentle and willing and willing and willing to be kind to you even amongst your frustration that it feels smothering, almost as if you’re undeserving of his rationality and patience. he doesn’t think so, and he won’t change his mind on it, either. he loves you and you’re precious to him so you’re going to have to get used to it and get over it because he won’t stop

you cleanse him, them— they think. a sinner so graciously absolved of their crimes by you. his light, his love. he no longer dedicates his life to a god that doesn’t hear him. why would they believe in one that won’t listen, that won’t answer?

god did not heed him in his time of need.

so, why devote himself to a god that does not care, when he has you to turn to? he finds salvation, absolution, freedom when prostrated at the altar of your love. you can do whatever to him, and he’d welcome it. reshape this sinner into a vessel worthy of your love, destroy him and piece him back anew, cleansed, pure.

each sting of your bites are bliss, each wave of pain that washes over him feels like another sin purged.

he used to be disgusted when he looked in the mirror. was he even human anymore? the lines between humanity and mere tool seemed to blur more and more everyday, until even nikto couldn't make sense of it. where did his humanity begin? where did it end? did it ever even exist at all?

I've been seeing some shit on how certain folks apparently think it's like, surprising that Penelope just accepted Odysseus and all the stuff he's done without question and/or disappointment in Would You Fall in Love With Me Again when like... Not only against Odyssey!Penelope but ALSO Epic's. We may have only gotten 2 songs it's still a concept album. orv spoilers (?) ahead-its a small moment

i think genuinely one of the moments in the novel that really stuck to me, was a quiet small moment between kdj, when kdj was talking to lgy about his sponsor and he raises his hand- and lgy flinches. So kdj holds his hand until he stops trembling.

like that moment is just SO TENDER and quietly devastating. Because kdj loves lgy. But he also sees himself in lgy. And he can't love that reflection of himself.

Yet he still does love lgy sm, and when he raises his hand and realizes lgy's fear, he just holds his hand in silent comfort.. and just sits there with him. until he's able to calm down again, kdj just sits with him.
