Smoker knew what she was doing the moment she started going through his paperwork and tried to reach out to grab the work that needed more than just his signature; but he was unsuccessful as he scowled at her.
"I could have you punished for insubordination" He grumbled at her before he sighed deeply and pushed himself up from his chair with a groan at how much his body ached. Considering he knew there was no way to win an argument with his best friend, he slipped his jacket off his shoulders to lay draped over his chair and slipped his boots off while he was able to lean against his desk without falling over.
"What's your plan for the rest of the day then?" He huffed at her as he tiredly moved to the room linked to his office, he spent so much time in his office that one of the vice admirals told the builders to knock through to a spare office so he wasn't constantly sleeping on his couch.
“I’m stubborn because you are.” Tashigi sighed as she came over to his desk to look over the paperwork. Taking a few of them away she left the ones that just needed signatures on them, easy work for him to do as he rested. “There, you can do these while you lay in bed.” Before he could snatch them back she tucked the papers into her shirt and took a few steps back.
“Bed.”

Paulie snorted at her easy response, her tone was dull but he expected it, if it wasn't for the fact that they were walking near water he would have continued to tease her; but, he knew that she would have no reservations about pushing him in and he didn't particularly fancy a swim today.
"Ice just wanted a reason to escape his paperwork" Paulie deadpanned in response, he knew what his mentor was like, the man was an amazing mayor and boss; but he was terrible when it came to paperwork and the meeting part of it all. He should really look into finding someone to help him with it in an official capacity, where Ice dealt with everything but paperwork and meetings. "I don't understand why he doesn't promote you... You do more than just assist him..."
He wanted to ask if she was going to eat as well, but she wasn't really a loud person so he just sighed and slipped into the room to where the food was; dodging Iceburg so he couldn't get scolded for not looking after himself. It was easy to avoid the man's line of sight as he grabbed some food, hiding behind the other foremen who just snickered since they could tell what he was doing.
With a sigh of relief, Paulie slipped into Kalifa's office with a plate of food for himself, and a small plate of food that he knew she liked which he placed on her desk before moving to her couch. "Ice is enjoying himself... Guess he has no meetings today?"
“If anyone accused me of caring I’d be more than happy to prove them wrong.” Her tone was dull as they walked together. She’d easily push him into the water since she knew he could swim perfectly fine and it wouldn’t be a risk. “Iceberg merely wanted to celebrate how well everything has been going lately.” She hummed, opening the office door to the small party that was happening.
At the question she paused in the doorway, turning to him for a moment. “Of course. Take advantage of the rest of the day being the party.” Iceberg was laughing in the room with a few of the other foreman, the room becoming louder at the moment. “I will be in my office after you’ve eaten your fill.”
With that she turned again and went to her office, shutting the door behind her to block the noise out.

Sanji knew how hard it was to accept that someone was worth something to someone else, especially when pushed down for the majority of their lives. It took Zeff years to make Sanji accept that the old man cared for him for him and not for his help around the restaurant, the night it finally hit him that the old geezer cared was when the man had fired another chef who was becoming popular but seemed to have it out for Sanji. Sanji had kept it quiet because the man was bringing customers in, but then the man had hit him... Sanji had a panic attack and hid, when Zeff found out what happened from Patty, the man was out on his ass and Sanji was tracked down, scolded for not trusting him and then hugged and kept close for the rest of the night. "It won't be the last time I call you a treasure, darling" he pointed out to them softly as he pressed another kiss to their neck.
Standing up with them in his arms, Sanji shifted them so he could carry them comfortably and slipped through the back of the kitchen and through the back corridor that he used when he was hiding that he was heading to the kitchen from Luffy. He knew they wouldn't be seen since the rest of the crew were on deck so easily went into the bath room.
"When you're finished, come back to the kitchen and I'll have some food ready for you" he promised them as he settled them in the edge of counter next to the sink. He would offer to stay with them but he wanted them to be comfortable after already dealing with things out of their comfort zone.
Alpha hummed softly as they were adjusted to sit in Sanji’s lap, tilting their head out of the way when he kissed at their neck. Settling against him gently they couldn’t help but roll their eyes when he insisted on the treasure thing, knowing that they didn’t really have any arguments that he would listen to.
The whole crew was stubborn like that.
“Believe what you want.” It was all they could really say in this moment. Sighing softly they looked over themself, eyes narrowed slightly at how their whole body was sweaty still. Alpha wasn’t the most fussed about being clean but they weren’t very fond of the feeling of being as sweaty as they were.
“I need a bath.” It was a low grumble, not wanting to move from their spot.

Luffy was surprised that Nami hadn't resorted to hitting him over the head yet because of his whining, but he was grateful even though he knew he deserved it for being so difficult for most of the crew.
Glancing around as they say on the edge of the fountain, Luffy sighed when he noticed no one was paying attention so he could slip the shoes off and rub his feet with a small grimace. "If we get rid of him, it would mean it won't happen again" Luffy pointed out with a small huff as he crossed his legs under him and watched over the crowd. He hated stuffy parties, they felt like lies to him, everyone was so stuck up and untrue to themselves, it's why he liked being a pirate, the freedom to be himself.
He missed the parties that Shanks used to have at Makino's.
"Could make it look like the guy is working with the revs or other pirates and get the marines to arrest him" Luffy suggested, it was something his brothers and he did once when they were kids in High Town; some idiot was annoying them every time they visited so they set him up. He was a horrid man anyway so they weren't too bothered by him being arrested. Luffy didn't exactly know what the revs did but he knew that they were dangerous and hunted by the marines.
Nami chuckled softly as Luffy pointed out that Usopp could use the shoes next, he wasn’t wrong it was one of the good things about the boys that they could share clothes. As he started to whine though she sighed softly, walking over to the fountain and sitting on the ledge. “It’s not just about getting him to tell us. Robin and Chopper are trying to figure out a way to prevent it from happening again.” They still didn’t know how he was pumping the water so they needed to figure that out before they could stop it.
“And what if he lies about where the fountain supply flow is? He could send us on a wild chase and take his anger out on the village.” That was why they were being so sneaky, the boys had already gotten it known they were on island and becoming friendly with the village. Once his water stopped no doubt he’d turn his attention to the village but they’d be there to stop him.
“Until then just relax and plan how far you’re gonna punch him through a wall.”

Cocking an eyebrow in amusement when he noticed the tensing of her jaw as she gritted her teeth, he was reminded of Shanks and his stubborn nature when the man was injured around Mihawk. If Hongo was a few days out of range and the two swordsmen had sparred, usually one or both of them were injured which meant Mihawk had to be the responsible one and Shanks was a pain in the ass to get to have medical attention.
He knew for a fact that Hongo had multiple break downs when Shanks had lost his arm because Shanks was an emotionally stunted idiot who couldn't handle being split from the lad that he had practically adopted and took it out on himself.
A sigh of resignation escaped him as she downplayed her injuries. He moved to the closest first aid kit before pointing her to one of the larger chairs he had so she could relax without worrying about her tentacles getting squished into a tight space of an armchair "Not bad to you, but to anyone with sense, that is bad"
Rose gritted her teeth slightly as the other stared her down, feeling the same way that she did when Hongo realized she was hurt. She could see in the moment why Beck relaxed whenever he learned Shanks was out with Mihawk, he clearly able to handle the personality that she and the red head shared.
Puffing up her cheeks she sighed unhappily and slowly unraveled herself from within her tentacles. One of the slavers had shot at her a few times with a blunderbuss so she had a few gouges in the tentacles along with several small burns along the skin. She also had a few bruises and some rope burns from their nets. “See it’s not that bad!” The cuts were already clotted and slightly scabbed over.
The offer was nice still, she didn’t have a lot of spaces she could run to.

An aroused groan was muffled by her lips as she ground her hips against his aching length, he wanted nothing more than to find himself buried inside of her but there was no way he would last very long with how worked up she was getting him right now.
He reluctantly released her from the kiss and stripped his shirt off for her, he dropped down on his knees at the end of the bed and glanced up at her through his lashes. He ran his hands up underneath her skirt and ran his finger along the wet spot of her panties. "Can I?" He questioned with a pleading lilt to his tone.
Kalifa hummed softly as Paulie walked her to his room. As he walked she tilted her head to kiss and nip along his neck, teasing him further. As he settled her onto the bed she rolled her hips up into him, grinding against his hard on even as he brought her into a kiss again.
Tracing her tongue along his mouth Kalifa ran her hands under his shirt to start pulling the fabric up. Tracing her nails along his back she let one hand drift to the front of his pants, fingers slipping around his belt to start fiddling it open.

"You're pretty, but not my type" Smoker deadpanned quietly, although, he wasn't entirely sure if she was his type; he'd never had to chance to know much about her and never wanted it considering she was still a pirate.
He wondered if there was a possibility that she was scolding him a little when she mentioned that she was there act as bait with her looks on show. He knew that she was a good idea for bait for most, but he still disliked the idea of her being gawked at like an object. He would have done the same with Tashigi if she was in the same position. "If the man is a Rev like the intel suggests, he already knows who you are so having to objectify yourself isn't necessary unless you enjoy it..." Smoker pointed out to her as his gaze washed over the village. In all honesty, Smoker agreed with a lot of things that the Revolution Army did, he didn't agree with a great deal of marines and their assumptions of what justice was. "But, there's also the likelihood that they know who I am as well if they are a Rev, but they might think I'm defecting."
"I just don't want this place to end up in a buster call..."
“My powers work on everyone. Just because I haven’t had a chance to use them on you yet doesn’t mean they won’t.” Boa’s voice was a hum as she tilted her head up to bat her eyes on him. She would only need a moment slip, just a flicker of passion and she’d latch onto that. Plenty of people around them were already worked up enough that she could turn them in a moment. The feel of his cloak draping around her caused her to blink in surprise, the point of this was to have her beauty on display to get people to talk to her.
The question paused her own and she sighed “They said I’m here to act as bait. Whoever they’re looking for will either approach me just based on my looks or if he knows who I am they may wish to tempt me into helping.” If the army could provide protection for her girls she probably would take them up on that offer, but Boa knew better than to say anything like that.
“Beyond that they were quiet.” They really didn’t feel the need to tell her anything since she was just a pirate. Granted her attitude towards them was probably another reason they wouldn’t give her any details.

Sighing lightly at the steel in her eyes, Smoker leaned back against the chair that he was situated in and watched as she decided to try to lay down the law. The curse that slipped past her lips just showed how serious she was being, she never cursed; only cursing when she was determined about something.
"Why do you have to be so stubborn?" He grumbled with a weak huff, he still didn't believe that he was sick, but he guessed that he could placate her for a little bit "Fine... I'll go lay down, but I'm taking my paperwork with me. I'm not sick, but I'll humour you"
Tashigi sighed deeply, staring Smoker down. He was the most stubborn man she had ever met and when he wanted to he could absolutely be a bull. “Smoker.” She trailed off, moving to stand in front of his desk. Placing her hands on it she leaned into his face, setting her own to be firm. “You’re sick. You need to eat some soup and get your ass into bed.”
She rarely cursed but this felt like a moment where she needed to. Maybe if he heard that he would understand how serious she was. Smoker wasn’t someone she could manhandle and if he fell unconscious she wouldn’t be able lug him to bed.

Paulie just gave her a dead look "You're slipping Kali, if I was anyone else I'd think you cared about me" Paulie drawled playfully even though she was focused on the clipboard in front of her. He knew that if Ice knew that Paulie wasn't watching his health, the man would have tracked him down and knocked some sense into him; so this was all Kali.
Sighing lightly, Paulie followed after her as if he was some little puppy; but the shipwright knew when to keep his pride and when to put it aside. And his health declining meant that he needed to put it aside. He easily clocked onto the fact that he had the rest of the day off, he knew that usually he would continue working but this time he was going to take the time to sleep.
"Hey Kal... After some food, can I take advantage of your couch for a few hours?"
“Oh quickly enough.” Kalifa hummed softly, turning back to the work on her clipboard. “He also ordered enough for leftovers to be taken by a few people.” She already set a good part of the food aside for Paulie to take home already. Lifting an eyebrow she turned her attention back to him. “Though Iceberg has run with the whole thing and the party will be for the rest of the day.”
It would give everyone the rest of the day off, and Paulie knew where there were some places he could crash and sleep. “Whenever you’re ready the food is in the main office.” Turning on her heel she headed into the offices, figuring he would trail after her in a moment.

"There isn't much on this island to need protecting, this island is self-sufficient but only has a small village that we look after" Shanks shrugged lightly as his hand went to the hilt of Gryphon, he didn't often fight these days; using the lack of arm to his advantage as he and his crew made people think he was weaker than he actually was. "They probably aren't here for the village but for me, I may be an Emperor but since I lost my arm most people see me as weak with only my crew to keep me safe. It's completely bullshit and they'll find that out by the end of the night"
"I can use haki if you don't want to fight" Shanks assured her as he glanced out the window to where she was looking. He didn't mind not fighting, it meant they could end the hostility quickly and get back to relaxing and spending time together until the crew came back.
Rose hummed softly at how easily Shanks was taking the news of someone approaching the island. Granted as a Emperor there weren’t a lot of things that could really threaten him, but whoever was arriving was being bold. “They probably saw the Force was gone for the day and thought the whole island was unprotected.” Shifting in the seat she folded her tentacles around herself, sighing deeply.
“I was hoping for an easy day. Instead we’re gonna have to deal with some idiots looking for a fight.” She honestly didn’t care, Rose was a strong enough fighter to back Shanks up. A lifetime of being hunted by slavers meant that she could get nasty in a fight as well. One tentacle wrapped around his wrist as she turned her attention back to the window. “They’re a while out, but close enough the ocean is telling on them.”

He chuckled at their response, it was amusing that they sounded dry when commenting about knowing swear words. It was rare that he cursed, it was rarer that he cursed in Grand, usually he used his mother's language even though she would try her hardest not to curse around him before her passing. But, whenever his father was brought up in a conversation, the curses escaped easily.
Slumping lightly in relief that his explanation was taken in, he wasn't the most comfortable with using the scientific explanations because it reminded him of his childhood; but he was determined to make them feel comfortable and knowledgeable. He would push his own discomfort away if it meant that they weren't feeling overwhelmed or like they were in a sinking ship with no aid. Taking their hand into his own, he tugged them gently to sit on his lap and pressed a light kiss to their neck.
"We treasure those we care about greatly, and you became one of them the moment you joined our crew and became a strawhat. You deserve to be treasured for you Ali, and that's why we treasure you, you are amazing"
Alpha hummed softly as Sanji agreed to translate what he said, making a mental note to try and learn the language on their own. It would help make Sanji feel happier if he could speak in his native tongue more often since it seemed to make everyone else happier. It wasn’t hard to understand which words he was meaning when he said he wouldn’t translate certain things. “I am aware of swear words Sanji. I simply do not use them.”
It wasn’t that they didn’t know what curse words were, they just never knew when they should.
As Sanji explained further why he was worried about if they were fertile or not they nodded for a moment, trying to picture what he was talking about. It was an interesting concept to gain pleasure from the release of seed. “I would like to try the experience at least once. If I enjoy it than we will look into preventatives.” Nodding more to themselves Alpha wrinkled their nose slightly as Sanji insisted on calling them a treasure.
“You have a strange sense of treasures.” It was a soft grumblr
