In the wake of the RuptureFarms incident and the deaths of the Morguer, Ludwig von Aslik and the Brewmaster, a revolution is spreading across Mudos. Scraped together from the pits of the region's workhouses and emboldened by the movement that freed them, a band of rebels seek to further the goal: freedom, by any means necessary. A Plague of Smoke is drawn and written by Ghostmoor. It updates when it updates. Click here to read from the start.

Does Rae have a best friend
by some metric, yeah, probably
Rae is a weird little thing prone to behaving very erratically at home. They really do live for the resistance movement and find downtime pretty boring. The act of benignly spending time with people tends to make them feel antsy and agitated and they can get snappy.
Kerry is used to talking without the expectation of a response running the radio, and is similarly on Rae's level of cynicism and bitterness with the world. Rae is usually the only person allowed solo up into the radio tower.
Gunner is their partner in crime and understands how their brain works, and lacks any kind of fear/intimidation response in the event that they have an outburst which other people can sometimes find shocking or upsetting. Obviously, they bond closely over working side-by-side, day-to-day. Both of them have committed their lives to what they do, although Gunner knows how to reign Rae in when they get too reckless.
Lola just loves everyone at Fort Bravo and worries a lot about the people that go out on various runs. Rae doesn't typically tolerate a lot of fussing from other people, but knows how emotionally driven Lola is and that it makes her feel better to be allowed to dote on them a little bit.

"...Hey, yeah. This thing working?"
"Okay, good. Line should be stable. Took me too damn long to get it back up and running. If you can hear me, I can hear you. You know how this works. You need help, we're the ones who give it. Dial on in and we'll find you, one way or another. Industrialists need not fuckin' apply." There's a momentary buzz of static, and then the line is silent, ready and waiting.
