The Gaon/Judas imagery

Oh my GOD

I just noticed that at the very beginning, when Gaon and his teacher enter the trial room he says “what, you want me to play the role of Judas Iscariot ?”

And then at the end it is indeed Gaon that ends up betraying Yohan and handing him over to his enemies like

"Judas, are you betraying the son of Man with a kiss?"– Luke 22:48

Followed by

Jesus said ‘Friend, go ahead and do what you are here to do.’ ”-Matthew 26:50

The foreshadowing !!! The consistency of the christian imagery ! I can’t even.

And the follow up, as well.

it is also the moment he decides to die which…

“He[Judas] went away and hanged himself”- Matthew 27:1
