hi guys, i want to give u some information about my future project:: LEGO MONKIE KID: RACER AU.

(so is this racer or racers au? DAMN I CAN'T UNDERSTAND SRRY)

i can't talk much about it yet because of the uncertainty, but it's going to be about an exciting urban biker tournament, you know, like in that episode with peach or something like that idk. BUT it will be much bigger than a simple race. and mk, as the main character of the story, needs to.. No, it's even necessary to win the race according to Wukong's instructions!

for now i'm thinking about the designs of some characters, of which there are actually many, so it will be difficult to fully present the au, but i'll try to do it. what do you think about it?

How come u can replicate the flow of how the lmk style goes?

when i first started drawing lmk, i used mostly references and tried to redraw some moments in lmk myself. it's quite a hard and exhausting task but it's worth it guys i swear. i think u can find references in the public domain on the Internet and try to practice :⁠-⁠P

i figured he'd be a really cool fan and would have a bunch of trinkets like this headdress u can drink from. convenient and practical i guess?

FINALLY I finished drawing nezha that everyone wanted so badly

Remember abt festive au? So here in this au , likely same story and yes , zodiac signers became powerful and granted as blessings and gifts , so here on out , everyday is a a festive day! This reference came from the book of life where in the land of the living everyday is festive day . One day ofc we know lbd lbd wanted the world to perish bcs of yk the reason , and here it comes every Chinese need years will be given a blessing . For example it is the year of the mouse , u will be bless and be powerful but what’s the catch? So we know that every zodiac sign has a special gift in us

Give this example of the year of the dragon , the one that got bless will get this ability , once they blessed , they must be 18 above in order to be blessed , now their roles r different but the story is followed by the same slim series but different , mk is a dancer

I saw some ppl danced on the road with a staff and a ribbon so I took that as reference, he is a dancer for the year of the monkey

Redson is of the ox , the cymbal came from reference and ofc we know that Ao lie helped the dbl family from the samadhi fire , in the dragon dance 5here r symbols while the dancers dance , it also has an incense bcs he is also the child of iron fan ,

Mei is a dragon dancer and a drummer ofc in the year of the dragon we can all see that her drumsticks has a transparent cloth , pretend it as a flag , it guides the dragon to dance while she plays and dance with her drumsticks , I have not yet made the others in festive outfits and yup meis hair is longer , fun fact when lbd was defeated she uses the samadhi fire to make her dragon dancing much more prettier

i was thinking about a small design of mei's costume for one art it turned out boring but i think i like it..

for context: if red son had received his samadhi fire but couldn't control it - mei would have used the peak of her power, transforming into a dragon girl with a her own power. i would spend more time thinking about this but i think this is enough for now (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ
