THE PHILIPPINES A CENTURY HENCE
The Philippines a Century Hence does not only portray the Philippines as a mere country with its people. What was written wasn’t just in a piece of paper but it was a reality happening that has changed the Philippines and made its own history. A part of this history were foreign countries who held the Philippines on its hands over a period of time.
The Philippines, during the colonization has drastically lost a number of inhabitants trying to save lives of her people. The peril grew bigger for her and for her people as each day passes. But the domination of different countries does not only meant weakness for the Philippines but it has created a new ray of hope to look upon by the Filipinos because it meant fighting for their motherland who had sheltered and the one who will never turn its back on them.
Being held by the foreigners were the darkest days of the Philippines that gave it a chance to seek light and change and strive to be freed. After a long time of suffering, the battle finally came to an end and the Philippines regained its independence and stood even stronger than ever.
