Dan. Australia. ISTJ. I like sci-fi, fantasy, action-adventure escapism. This is my personal / anything-topic blog. I post random musings, observations, screenshots, artwork, terrible puns, and reblogs of life, video games, and general fandom.

... I forgot that WOW's "not played in a while? here's some more-up-to-date gear" button deletes your existing equipment and inventory in order to give you the new stuff... :(

I haven’t had anything to do with Magic the gathering since it was a primary school fad in the 90s/00s alongside tamagotchi, digimon, and Pokémon (I had a 5ed start/basic deck iirc), but I’ve been liking seeing the arts coming from the FF crosssover they are doing.

The news about Oblivion remaster reminded me that I don't think I've ever actually completed a Bethesda title. I start up, do the tutorial section up to like the first big city, unlock the recurring encounter part of the main quest (e.g. oblivion gates in IV, dragons in V) ... and then just walk from city to city doing side quests and getting distracted by all the map markers along the way.
Same for Fallout.

This mount from Cosmic Exploration reminds me of a mech from something else, I think, but I'm not quite sure what. The only words that come to mind are "Metal Gear" and "Mech Warrior", but I'm not sure if it's those...
Not quite sure why it's called a "Vacuum Suit" either.
As an aside, I didn't get this from Moon Gambling; one of the FATEs there just dropped it straight into my inventory instead, which I did not think was possible. Would love to know if the FATEs can reward other things too.

I've heard of Carcinisation, but I didn't think it applied to starship design…

Hey, Sephiroth? Turns out there's this guy named Prompto Argentum who also found out he was an artificial human with genetic enhancements who in attempting to fight monsters was killing the very beings he was most similar to, and guess what? He didn't do any of that shit.

Having played the Sims and Sims 2 base games way back when they came out originally, I think the 25th anniversary re- releases mostly just make me more appreciate all the quality of life updates to the series since then, and to Sims 4 since that released.

apparently Star Trek Online did an update to the Sol System map to change it to the one from Picard show (or at least inspired by that?)
also there was some bug that unequipped loadouts and traits because they updated neverwinter loadouts and both are on the same engine but its's fixed now?
