A fun short post about the bending process of brass tubes for brass instruments.
Since brass is prone to breaking a frozen solution in the tube when bent to help the metal keep the correct shape. For large instruments, like tubas, the metal will not bend in 1 piece. So it is bent, allowed to collapse, and then pressurized liquid is injected to 'reinflate' the metal.
