idk maybe i'm being much more aware of ableism in the fandoms now, but i feel super uneasy every time someone in iwtv fandom says something like: "oh but they said claudia was doomed from the start, so at least she's not suffering anymore". like, especially because they had this conversation in season 2, where claudia mentions that something is "broken" in her and wants to blow up even when things are peaceful, but madeleine says that claudia can still live like that and that she'll support her. like, claudia is clearly written as a disabled character. and in the end she died not because of suicide, how armand predicted, but from murder. because other people gave up on her or hated her. honestly kinda terrifying how popular "she was doomed anyway" take is…
